Tried this JianBing in ShenZhen not long ago, it was pretty nice but this version in JianBingChuFang is even better! Nicely decorated, the shop made a good impression---the one in ShenZhen was pretty messy. I ordered one spicy chicken, one traditional and my friend ordered the Beijing Roast duck. My two pieces have totally different sauces so the various flavors really add up the overall impression. Traditional one uses an oil stick, I tried this before also in ShenZhen, but it didn't appear in the ShenZhen JianBing, so I'm a bit surprised but in a good way. The spicy chicken one has a lot of coriander--also a great choice! And the color looks good too, which can bring up the appetite
the Beijing roast duck's sauce I think it's the same as the traditional one, but the flavor comes out differently somehow, which is always the case with Chinese food-simple ingredients, thousands of combinations and flavors


I thought this JianBing is some kind of traditional food in southern China, but the cashier guy told me this food originally comes from Beijing and Tianjin and its widely developed in northern China. Overall, great experience!
