You know those days you are walking in a strange neighbourhood and you see this line of people at a small little mom and pop shop where everything is written in Chinese and you have no idea what they are selling. So, what do you do? Glance curiously and walk on buy or take a chance and buy something? This is one of those moments where I took a chance and bought something. This is one of those moments where I took a chance and bought something. And woah...I still dream of this place.
Boyfriend and I were in Tai Po, heading to a friend's place for a BBQ. We were waiting for another friend so we could all go in together. While we were walking around, I saw this line of people at this super small shop. What were they serving? Shanghai pastries. Things like dumplings, steamed meat buns and onion flatbreads.
It's such a small shop and the sign and everything is in Chinese. There is no English. It's all take away. There is no seating.
