Das Bier, a simple yet straightforward name. Heard of this German restaurant since a long time ago and finally got to try!Started the meal with a bowl of Caesar salad made with fresh romaine lettuce. Topping options included parma ham and smoked salmon, which we picked the latter one.Sausage platter consisted of Bratwurst, Weisswurst cheese sausage and chili garlic sausage. Ordered a Schweinshaxe to share. Compared to grilled pork knuckles served in most restaurants, which are dry, salty, crunchy and tough, this was outstanding. Rare to be lightly salted, which was great because it was definitely healthier than the typical processed meat. Crispy skin, tender and moist meat.
Friendly staff, efficient service. Spacious and cosy. Highly recommended for group gatherings!
