This was the second time that my wife and I went to this restaurant, maybe there were quite a long queue at other diner in Yau Tong shopping mall, so we went here again for a dinner. Somewhat the location and the view was quite good, however, the food and the service didn't serve its purposes, we were just fairly disappointing for this place. Alright, we ordered two set-dinners, a lamb and pasta. Firstly, the soup just like other posts down there, on taste-wise, it went okay, but basically, it was just a clean soup, and the size was quite small; We didn't wait long, then the main dishes arrived, but, the lamb was simply re-heat and no taste at all, although the presentation was okay. And the pasta was terrible, because there was basically 90% of tomato paste, so it could hardly tell that was a "pasta". At least, good thing came, the quality of the coffee was good and smooth, I thought it didn't make by the chef back there, so the beverage was quite good.
The second thing was, the number of waiter/waitress were too many, due to the area of the shop is not very large, but somehow, there were four to five people servicing in the place. I believe the boss of the restaurant wanted to achieve the one staff serving one table ratio...... Well, my dishes were taken away immediately once i handed off them, why don't you guys let me have a relaxed meal!?? I just sick of it.
The overall comment is, please don't waste the best location of the shopping mall and offering such terrible food. I understand the rent might be high, but please, bring some good stuff to the people dining at your place. And one important thing, please change the chef or the cooking methods, if don't, please lower your price.
In my opinion, I don't think such restaurant can be survived in other area which can last more than one month, like TST, Central.
Pleeeeease, I want a good restaurant around!!!!!!!
