Ordered a takeaway from here so I couldn't fully experience in the inside. However from what i could see from outside, it's a typical Chinese Dim Sum restaurant layout. Round tables with bright lighting. Noisy customers with staff rushing around doing their thing. It isn't one of the cleanest of restaurants as I could see some rubbish on the ground and tablecloths had stains.
Service
One of these worst experiences of service I have ever had. The order took over 30 minutes and I had to ask 4 times where my food was as they kept lying and ignoring me. Extremely disrespectful and felt undertrained.
Food
The typical range of food you'd expect from a Dim Sum restaurant. For example, Rice, Noodles, Steamed Dim Sum, Cheung Fun and Siu Mei.
I ordered some veg, XO sauce cheung fun, fresh egg tarts, siu mai, chicken feet and ribs steamed rice and prawn dumplings.
Veg was disappointing. Some were softer than others. Makes me wonder if some were made before others. Worrying...
One of my favourite dishes is the XO sauce cheung fun but this was disappointing. Could hardly taste the XO sauce
Egg tarts were average. Nothing special to comment on...
Siu Mai was okay. Meat was juicy and flavourful.
The prawn dumplings were not very good. Skin was way too thick and prawns were not very fresh.
The steamed rice was also disappointing. Some of the rice was slightly hard but the ribs and chicken feet had a decent amount of flavour.
Overall a very disappointing restaurant. Terrible service and below average food. Will definitely not come again.
