The pork chop is prepped and deep fried upon order, and was quickly served. Two sunshine eggs 🍳laid on top of the rice and pork chop served with a specially garnished spring onion and garlic sauce🧄.
The pork chop was insane - boast of flavours with the right mix between fat and lean 🤤🤤. Especially those near the bone, the fat rendered made the meat particularly juicy and flavourful😋. Though the meat was a tad too salty, would have taken it up the notch with just slightly less seasoning🧂. But the marinate is there, providing the right fragrance and taste, just a teeny bit too salty.
But all in all, the whole combination, alongside with the egg yolk, blended with the rice 🍚 w/ soy sauce, with a touch of scallion and ginger sauce was delicious😋😋.
During the meal, we were tempted by the shop owner to try out their soya milk as well, and that worked out pretty well 🙆🏻♀️👍🏼, partly as a cold beverage but also the sweetened soya milk complement the savouries.
