As you might have seen from my earlier reviews I had visited the Top Blade Steak in Shatin in March, so it was time to check out the consistency between the Shatin and Ho Man Tin branches. Off course we ordered the signature flat iron steak or top blade steak. For those of you that don’t know, this cut is around the shoulder of the cow and is supposed to be well marbled with a rich beef flavor! When cooked correctly this cut should be tender and juicy and that’s just exactly what they do here, it’s just damm perfect!
Our steaks were juicy and tender, the scent of rosemary and roasted garlic were the perfect condiments. I didn’t even need to add black pepper. I concluded the quality of the steaks here were the same as in the Shatin branch 👍 The french fries are all you can eat, and we refilled twice 🙈 The seasoning they spray or sprinkle on their french fries, which is truffle is addictive.
To wash it all down we ordered their special drink, which was an iced tea with cream and pistachio nuts on top, it’s nice, the brew of the tea was strong, topped with the cream and pistachio nuts it was very refreshing and acted like a drink / dessert.
The restaurant is well air conditioned so it doesn’t smell of bbq steak odor and spacious, it is relaxing and the waiting staff are tentative and professional.
This is probably the best value for money steaks in town!
