We had tonnes of food (starters, mains, dessert etc to spare) and 2 beers, and it still just came to $500 per head. Starters: platter with great varierty (oysters, fat clams, mussels, crab, huge prawns, cockles) and an oyster florentine. Agree with below, that a seafood platter for 2 ($200 x 2) is plenty of food for 4 people. Mains: clam linguine, pot of mussels with fries (remember to ask for the gorgeous homemade mayonnaise), steak (with a beautiful side of creamy potatoes), beef stew (comes in a huge cast iron pot, bubbling with all sorts of vegetables and tender chunks of beef).
Dessert: dessert platter, choose 4 of the 5 available desserts, with the melon 'soup' with vanilla ice cream the most interesting. The bread pudding slightly dry. Banana take terrific.
Great decor, friendly and helpful service, well-spaced tables. A good place for dates, or for a jovial business dinner. Not cheap, of course, but value for money.
