Due to the recent Honeycomb recommendations, we went along with great expectations. We started with the daily special; gnocchi with pesto sauce. This was extremely doughy. However, to the credit of the staff, when they asked us how we found it we told them, and they replaced it with ravioli which was much better and hot this time. Then we ordered the Alonzo's Breakfast and the stuffed turkey. The sausages that came with the breakfast were still raw in the middle and the eggs were tainted with so
Then we ordered the Alonzo's Breakfast and the stuffed turkey. The sausages that came with the breakfast were still raw in the middle and the eggs were tainted with some strange ingredient. They later claimed it was cream and cheese...I believe it could be milk powder. As for the stuffed turkey, it felt slightly undercooked and had a pinkish tinge but was moist. You could not taste any truffle or chestnut flavour in the stuffing.
Overall, a very disappointing experience but the staff were trying hard to please. They didn't charge us for the Alonzo's Breakfast or gnocchi.
