We had a birthday dinner there with 8 friends. Food in general was quite good, it was a little more than what you'd expect in such homely cafe. In comparison to the food in the other cafes on Bonham road or the nearby Caine's road, I'd say the food there is very reasonably priced for the above average quality. There were a lot of choices of set dinners, ranging from risotto to lamb to salads. Two items were especially impressive. The soup was mushroom, but not the canned mushroom, but real mush

There were a lot of choices of set dinners, ranging from risotto to lamb to salads. Two items were especially impressive. The soup was mushroom, but not the canned mushroom, but real mushroom cream soup. Secondly, the lamb chop was tender and juicy.
The highlight of the dinner was the birthday cake! We were quite unprepared and was planning for just a slice of cake, but it turned out that the owner can bake a cake for you in 30 minutes! It was a molten chocolate cake and it was HEAVENLY! We finished it in 4 seconds (not that the cake was too small, but because it was too awesome) If you don't want to wait like us, you can pre-order the cake in your reservation. I think it's around $150 for the whole cake.
All in all, it's a nice, friendly, neighborly cafe with good food.
