Last time we came here during restaurant week, and probably on a Friday and it was completely full of people. Back then we took a table at the far end behind a wall, close to the kitchen. This time we’re sitting in the main dining area, which was much better. Starters & MakisWe ordered the T-3 (the salad), since it’s so nice last time. We ordered the T-3 (the salad), since it’s so nice last time. Food quality has been consistent and the portion was good for sharing. We loved the Nikkei dressing.
We also got the Eryngii Maki, which was a grilled king mushroom maki. In the menu that we saw in the restaurant, we both saw the word oyster in the first ingredient. Perhaps we both missed the word mushroom after oyster 😅 It’s a vegetarian dish. Oyster mushrooms are the mushrooms containing the highest amount of protein, which is great!
Main
We had the fish and the roasted chicken for the main. They changed the presentation and put the pan-fried rice and beans on another plate. We thought there’re 3 dishes.
The fish was deep-fried yet it’s juicy and tender inside, and it’s sizable. We both loved the aji amarillo wasabi sauce. I even asked the server not to take away the sauce when we finished the fish, so that I could use that to dip the chicken.
The roasted chicken was so yummy! The kimchi orange sauce wasn’t hot yet it brought out great flavour. The restaurant consistently served sizable portion of food and it’s a half chicken.
Dessert
Only the Yin was available that day. The brownie was nice.
