Celebrated a friend’s birthday here. Her favourite dish is raw oyster. Having searched through openrice, there are now not many buffet offering raw oysters. So eventually we picked here for our buffet. In fact, have been to this restaurant many times. It has always been serving south-east asian buffet and has been well-known of its varieties.This time it has not let us down. There were unlimited serving of raw oysters. This time it has not let us down. There were unlimited serving of raw oysters. So my friend is very happy about it. It also had a lot of Japanese style bbq items. I tried its bbq eel with rice. It was served in a small dish, so easy for us to take and consume. Also we can also order bbq crab leg and also wagyu steak at the counter, then the waiter would bring them over to you.
The wagyu steak was a small piece and was okay. The crab leg was unexpectedly good. It has strong sweet taste of crab (of course it was a crab!!), unlike its cold counterpart, which only had salty watery taste, its flesh was good.
This restaurant is also well known of its traditional Indian food. I tried its Indian curry chicken with a naan. Rather spicy and tasty. I saw its Indian chef making naan in its open kitchen. I also had some cold shrimps and salad. They were fresh and nice.
One point worth mentioning was that the chef responsible for sashimi was quite generous. He gave many pieces of sashimi to each customer. Unlike some buffet only gave two pieces each to each customer.
I noticed that it had used the area which the Prince Deli was situated to become a designated dessert area now. So it had some hot and cold counters to hold the desserts, they were like a showcase for displacing the desserts. Making them more attractive.
