Boyfriend and I were in Kowloon Bay where I complained I was hungry as he still hadn't decided where we were to eat lunch. Every single option I showed him was a shake of a head. Finally out of my frustration, he decided we just eat Sidewalk Cafe as we were standing next to it.It was quite busy on this day and pretty much every time we've walked by here. It was quite busy on this day and pretty much every time we've walked by here. Afternoon tea time, they had a tea time menu. All include a drink. I noticed they offered a raspberry tea! How interestingly different! I chose this drink and it was pretty good. It did had a slight raspberry taste!
Boyfriend ordered the baked spaghetti with curry beef brisket and coconut sauce ($53). It didn't look appetizing but it tasted pretty good. The curry was a rich in flavor but also super spicy. The brisket was tender.
I had the crispy bun with pork chop with thousand island sauce and a mixed fruit and potato salad ($46). The bun was crispy and the pork chop was moist. But the sauce was not thousand island sauce but honey mustard. I don't mind that but maybe others might not like this mistake. The salad was ok. A bit on the watery side.
Over all the food was pretty decent. The restaurant is very large and seating is spacious. They even gave a coupon for a free wings and French toast for next time if you order a tea set and a scratch and win card to see if you win any discounts. Service is fast as well. If in the area, would be back.
