Friends of mine from Shanghai for his business trip and I was looking for somewhere cozy and quiet place to drink and eat (which is had to find in Hong Kong). We found the brand new restaurant called HIBIKI…ok lets try this tonight. Here are three restaurants in the same floor so we got kind of confused where is HIBIKI but one of a staff nicely led us to there. There are many variety of drinks which includes, Beer (from Japan), Sake, Cocktails, Wines…. so this is really good for us! We love to drink and eat just like Japanese 居酒屋 style. The interior looks modern not look traditional and typical Japanese 居酒屋. I was little bit confused…why they still called 居酒屋？？？
The food is relatively reasonable and delicious.
We started off from Salad; “Japanese Tomato salad” and “Tomato and Smoked Duck Salad” Good dressing and big potion for two people. We ordered 5 kinds Sashimi plate. It was pretty fresh and beautiful presentation! There are many western feel Sushi Roll. We ordered the one called Hibiki Roll with Uni and Tobiko on the Top sided with sauce. Very Nice!
Overall we were very happy with the foods, price, and atmosphere. Hibiki is the one of the place we would come back again and again.
