My first visit was quite a long long time ago. This time I had a lunch gathering with my friends here on a Friday. All of us decided to go for their salads and desserts buffet at a per head cost of $218+10% without the need to top up for mains. At such a central location with such pretty interior decoration, such a price offering quite a good variety of choices of food with decent quality was really reasonable. Now let me walk you through what choices of food were available during my visit. For n

For non-veggie options, there were actually four types including smoked salmon, seared tuna, lean pork slices and tuna mixed with some beans. Smoked salmon were pretty good which were rich in oil and fatty; the seared tuna, which used to be quite good, was a bit too lean this time; lean pork slices were pretty tender and lean yet well dressed; I just tried a little bit of the tuna which seemed ok.
There were 3 types of ham, including parma ham, mortabella and salami. I just tried some parma ham and 1 slice of mortabella and they were ok but not particularly outstanding to me.
For cheese, there were 3 types: 1 type of hard cheese, mozzarella and ricotta. I tried all three and ricotta was the best! They were soft and very delicious yet not salty at all. I loved the texture and the flavour. One of my friends said this type of cheese was very expensive on retail purchase out there!

For salads, there were fresh greens like baby spinach and rocket which were both very fresh. There were dressed veggies like string beans and romaine which were also fresh. There were a lot of other mixed salads including Greek salads with cucumber cubes, cherry tomatoes and cheese etc., potato salad etc. Salad toppings included walnuts (just one type of nuts was available though), dried tomatoes, stuffed and pickled tomatoes etc. I found the dressed salads a bit too greasy so I didn't need to add extra dressings to my salad. They also had one type of pasta salad which was fusilli and the fusilli was pretty al dente!

For soup, there were two types - lentil and pumpkin. I only tried pumpkin which was reasonably concentrated and tasted pretty good. There were four types of bread/biscuits which I didn't try.

The desserts table was pretty small yet there were 7 types of desserts and 1 bowl of mix fruits. The 7 types of desserts were (from bottom & left) Coffee Tart, Coconut Cream, Caramel Chocolate, Mango Pudding (with milk on the side), Classic Cake, Peanut Butter and 1 more type of cake.

I tried all desserts except for the 2 types of cake. The Coconut Cream was the best because they were very smooth and not too sweet at all. Texture-wise they were like panna cotta. I liked the flavour but couldn't really taste coconut much. I also loved mango pudding because they added loads of fresh mango fruits to it and it went great with the evaporated milk served on the side! The Peanut Butter was very very nice too because it was super rich in peanut butter and again very smooth with the slightly crunchy cookie base. The caramel chocolate was not overly sweet at all with some added texture from the nuts on the crust. The coffee tart was relatively worse because the tart base was too soft. Mix fruits were mostly hami melon cubes which seemed to be fresh but not particularly pleasing.
Having had a few rounds of salads and desserts I was so full afterwards. Hygiene was not bad as everyone was asked to wear a mask while taking food and people did follow. I heard that the servers would remind you if you hadn't. Again, with such variety and quality of food at such a prime location, no wonder it was so full over lunch on Friday.
