— Beautifully presented and very aesthetically pleasing but the drink could’ve been better made. The matcha powder was not whisked properly to get rid of the clumps, so the entire drink was super grainy. There was a lot of matcha powder stuck to the bottom of the cup that coagulated slightly with the soya milk which wasn’t great. The matcha powder had quite a strong taste to it but unfortunately it was not well incorporated into the drink at all. The drink had a slight sweetness to it which gave the drink a refreshing feel to it. This has the potential to be an amazing drink.
Pic 2️⃣: GOS Salad (Kale, avocado, quinoa, pickled carrots, cucumbers, topped with nori and almond butter dressing) - $128 hkd 🥗
— Decent portion size for the price. Veggies were fresh. This is packed with kale, so if you love kale, you’ll love this! Loved the pickled carrots that gave the salad a nice acidity to it and extra crunch. Barely any quinoa in this unfortunately. The dressing in this was tasty too! Never had a dressing that tasted like this, and it had a rich nutty flavour to it which worked well with the rest of the vegetables in this.
Pic 3️⃣: Soup-er (Veggie) Dumplings - $88 hkd 🥟
— Good dumplings! The filling in these dumplings were shiitake mushrooms and tofu, which were well seasoned and had a rich umami flavour to it despite being plant based. The mushroom broth that the dumplings were cooked in was slightly bland and I couldn’t really taste much. These dumplings will definitely fill you up if you want something more “carby”.
