I am cantonese, actually quite enjoy Chinese food until moving back to HK a few years ago from the US.  When some of my friends are going "wow' or "ooh" or  about certain places and invite me to try, I am always open-minded... but have to say, after more than a few disappointments, I don't quite trust them anymore.  Gi Kee, the fool I am (for the last time), was a restauant I forced to go because a few friends said "it isn't bad at all."  So honestly wasn't expecting much but still ended up supe

 about certain places and invite me to try, I am always open-minded... but have to say, after more than a few disappointments, I don't quite trust them anymore.  Gi Kee, the fool I am (for the last time), was a restauant I forced to go because a few friends said "it isn't bad at all."  So honestly wasn't expecting much but still ended up super disappointed at the food quality.  Only have one comment or question...why all the dishes taste the same?  With its brown, gluey sauce.. so shiny I can see the reflection of my disappointed facial expression.  At the end, all I can taste were grease, sugar, salt, corn starsh and MSG.  How about next time go a litte easy on all those "main ingredients"?

*But I do thank them for quite decent customer service, which is always a plus in HK.
