Just a few minutes after the crab pot arrived at our table, we found a fly crawling on the surface of the crab meat, so we left the food untouched. Then we asked a waitstaff to put it off the whole bill. She refused and told us that the cost would be all hers if she allowed our request. So we asked to have a talk with her boss. This time came another waitstaff trying to get us holding back the idea. She even suggested to get the crab pot back to the kitchen, gave it a wash and cooked it with other sauce. She also promised to be responsible for the aftermath of food poisoning, if any.

How could we risk our (hardly) get-together when it was just a two-day-getaway? Therefore, we stood our ground that leaving us unattended for about 15 minutes. Things then started to heat up after one of us took some pictures of the crab pot with a digi-cam. The restaurant owner showed up asking us why we took pictures, she was making a scene claiming it was nothing to do with the restaurant, it was just simply an incident, but how come there was a fly flying into the pot if the standards of hygiene was of satisfaction, we doubted. And her irresponsibility toward this matter is the second reason getting it exposed to openricers here.
