To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日我去咗翡翠小籠包，食咗幾道唔錯嘅菜式。首先，奶油津白一上桌就已經被佢嘅香味吸引咗。津白炒得剛剛好，外脆內嫩，再加上奶油，味道濃郁，簡直係人間美味！跟住試咗鎮江排骨呢道菜真係唔可以錯過！排骨先醃製過，然後慢火煮到入味，醬汁甜中帶鹹，咬落去肉質軟嫩，簡直係一口接一口！接著係宮廷醬茄子呢個茄子炒得滑溜溜，配上特製嘅宮廷醬，味道香濃，令人忍唔住多食幾碗飯。再嚟就係蘿蔔絲酥餅呢個餅外脆內軟，蘿蔔絲嘅清甜味配合酥皮，口感非常好，真係好享受！最後，陳醋西芹黑木耳都唔可以唔提。西芹脆口，加上黑木耳嘅滑，陳醋嘅酸味提升咗整體嘅味道，清新又開胃，食完之後心情都好好！

我們有三個人，昨晚吃了差不多九百元：四籠小籠包、也有蒸炸餃子、炒手、擔擔麵、蝦、菜肉包、很多豬肉、豆沙甜品，我忘記了還點了什麼。每樣東西都很好味：小籠包很多汁，餃子都炸得好好味兒，擔擔麵很飽肚，我沒試過有這麼濃郁的擔擔麵醬汁，要與其他人分。有個蒸飽有黑芝麻在上面，底子是炸的，忘了叫什麼，這個包子特別好味，如果我沒有點這麼多小籠包，我會想再吃這樣的點心。經常要喝茶沖下吃過的食物，當晚個個人都捧腹回家。如果要講有否美中不足之處，就是同行的朋友坐的位置接近收銀處，那裡不能動她的右手，較不方便。我會極力推薦大家到這裡吃晚餐。
