To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

Bad food. Mostly overcooked and burnt

It takes quite a while after ordering my food. I ordered a lasagna (千層麵配薯蓉, A4), and it took around 15 minutes - well, it's the normal waiting time for Alfafa (and it's former restaurant Delifrance). But still I think it's waiting time is longer than average restaurant.The environment is also not very nice. It takes quite a while after ordering my food. I ordered a lasagna (千層麵配薯蓉, A4), and it took around 15 minutes - well, it's the normal waiting time for Alfafa (and it's former restaurant Delifrance). But still I think it's waiting time is longer than average restaurant.

The environment is also not very nice. Under COVID, even though the tables are separated by paper boards, distance between each table is still very close together. You can hear people everywhere sneezing and may worry if your food get contaminated by other's saliva. My advice is to put less table in the restaurant with wider spacing. It's not really comfortable now sitting with people sitting really close to you when you plan to enjoy your meal.

For the food, it's TERRIBLE. 

The corners of the lasagna is HEAVILY BURNT, OVERCOOKED. It so burnt and it's barely chewable. So almost half of the lasagna is inedible. 

The lasagna doesn't really look good in appearance, just like a vomit paste (似嘔吐物）

It doesn't taste good too, there's a very pale & chemical-like smell in the pasta. 
The mashed potato also doesn't taste good, so pale, tasteless,  hard.

This Alfafa is close to where I usually go for lessons so I had lunch there today. I only intended to go for the apple turnover ($ 21) and matcha latte ($ 30.1) but as I was waiting for the food to be served, I noticed how good the presentation for Alfafa Club Sandwiches ($ 42.70) was so I went back in line and added this to my order.   I was told to wait for 15 mins as they had to make the toasts and compile all the ingredients. The club sandwiches turned out fine so I have no further comments,

I was told to wait for 15 mins as they had to make the toasts and compile all the ingredients. The club sandwiches turned out fine so I have no further comments, the match latte also had the same consistency throughout so I was satisfied with it. Even though the apple crumble was large in size, the filling did not quite fill up all the way so the overall taste really did miss some essence.   

Regrettably, I feel that I have paid more than what it was worth. Also, from personal experience, their pasta and salads are not as good as their sandwiches so there are still quite some room for improvement.

一早起身，諗住搵野食，行行下經過見到Alfafa 就入去試下！叫左個set breakfast 加咖啡，份量好足夠，雞肉剛剛好，不硬，牛角飽好鬆脆，有口感，配菜亦好味👍👍👍咖啡正常！值得一讚係環境，配合埋早餐，係可以坐一個早上都得😂😂非常寫意😗

    前排中秋節食太多月餅，肚腩脂肪好似多咗少少，所以想食返健康少少，減下肥。於是就嚟咗呢間食嘢。alfafa超級沙律配煙三文魚 $40.6健康食物普遍都比較貴，但可能因為呢間餐廳喺學校校園入面，所以食呢個超級沙律都只係$40左右。煙三文魚份量唔太多，只得一兩片。菜嘅份量多，主要係羽衣甘藍同生菜比較多。羽衣甘藍唔太苦，幾好。但好可惜嘅係，餐牌明明寫呢個沙律有牛油果，但成碗野入面，一片牛油果都見唔到，亦都冇任何牛油果醬，有少少失望。
