1 Shrimp cake - ok standard n safe pick

2  Thai style fish maw soup - enough ingredients such as thick chinese mushroom slices, shredded chicken breast, fish maw, pig skin, etc. With a little sweetness, this taste like a thick corn strach sauce with brownish color. I dont hate it but not particularly enjoy it.

3 Green papaya salad - a bit salty but i do enjoy a touch of dried shrimp flavor, pls put more next time!! The roast peanut taste a bit overdue.

4  Signature curry crab - the crab is fresh n sweet, the meat is firm, well pick! However I really hate the curry sauce. The texture is like a thick chinese Egg foo young mix with curry color corn starch sauce but not the curry taste. Hardly understand why would people order bread to dip into the sauce. At the end of the meal we packed all the left over excpet this big bowl of curry sauce. REALLY two thumbs down on the curry sauce.

5  Thai style seafood fried frice - mussel taste a bit sour, def no taste on the shimp, n same for the squid. The smell is there but the flavor is missing... very strange

6  Dessert - both are ok. Normally I love gummy dessert like the layered coconut cake, but this time i prefer the other one (coconut dessert with tapioca n chestnut chunks wrap in leaf). The chuncky chestnut did a great job.

Overall food is very so so. The presentation n food smell is convicting but sadly the taste is not. With this price n food quality, sorry i wouldnt come back again. This is over price.

(Delicious satay sauce, juicy and tender meat)

-Prawn Crackers
(Nothing special, very peppery)

-Chinese Kale and Salty Fish Stir Fry
(Fresh crispy veggies, slightly oily though)

- Taro Rice
(Very flavorful and delicious!)

- "Gum Been Fun"
(Loved the tomato sauce, sweet and tangy. Nice noodles as well)

- Sweet and sour ribs
(very strong and flavorful sauce, juice meat but abit too much sauce.)

- Duck
(Very soft meat, but not as good as traditional chinese style)

- Green noodles with pork
(weird taste, too spicy... not a fan of this one)

- Dessert PLatter (THE BEST!!)
combination of black glutinous rice mochi, banana leaf wrapped coconut jelly, some sort of sweet potato with custard sauce, "dai choi gou" trasculent jelly and green/white layered jelly.

Service was not that great though.

We got prawn crackers (12 dollar a basket) which where nice and spicy I loved the, we ordered a second basket as they where that good. Good hopes for dinner!! The first thing we got was a chicken coconut soup which was really tasty, but lacked on spicyness level!

After that it went down hill, the Pad Thai Noodles where sweet instead of having some spice to it, the Salad with dried fish was with loads of dried fish and no spice of flavour at all of things like fish sauce, lime, garlic or chili. The last dish we got was mango with beef dish.. this was just mango, vegetables, beef and a soy based sauce, and again lack of flavour!

All by all a bad thai restaurant, spend HK343 for 2 persons which was a waste of money!

依間餐廳原全唔尊重排隊精神, 態度又差, 錯都唔認重要死撐, 價錢重唔係平! 食完會飛同貼錢都唔會去!!! 一些服務飲食行業最基本既野都做唔到!!

Can't believe the service in this restaurant can be that poor

I had dinner in 曼谷泰國菜館 yesterday with my family
When we came in, we wereignored by the staff for 5 min
No one was willing to serve us and we need to find a seat ourselves

When we wanted to order the food, we were ignored again

We waited for another 5 min before we could order the food (the waiter just ignored us!!!!!!)

According to the menu, we could have free appetizer

與太座行完街,懶得買菜回家煮晚餐,索性叫埋兩個小寶寶落街一齊食,吃厭了白切雞牛扒,今餐又轉一轉口味,吃泰國菜。可能是星期天,差不多已坐滿了人,有兩張吉檯都放了人客訂座的牌,侍應思量了一會,便讓我們坐下。我們全家都不嗜辣,唯有點些有泰國香料但不辣的食物,侍應介紹了黃咖喱鮮雞煲,而我們點了泰式拼盤,紅酒排骨,原個菠蘿焗飯和泰式蝦球炒金邊粉。最先送來的不是泰式拼盤,而是泰式蝦球炒金邊粉,侍應拿著幾碟金邊粉從廚房出來,相信是為了方便,廚房一次過煮幾個「柯打」,所以不會理會人客甚麼菜孰先孰後,集合幾個才煮。金邊粉賣相不俗,有些蝦球,芽菜,韭菜等,加了青檸汁拌勻,味道微酸開胃,蝦球沒有除去蝦尾殼以保持較佳形態,蝦是新鮮的,蝦肉爽口,金邊粉是細條粉,煮得不膩。紅酒排骨,看似京都骨等物,吃不到紅酒味道,可能已滲入排骨中,肉質炆得夠火候,一咬便離骨,味道帶微甜,醬汁收得夠緊,送飯不錯。原個菠蘿焗飯,菠蘿是中型大小,飯面放有豬肉鬆,蝦球,雞片,腰果等,飯不太濕,菠蘿與飯頗合拍,每人都可分一小碟。泰式拼盤姍姍來遲,有三種小食,春卷,竹葉包雞和炸蝦餅,春卷很油,像從油缸中撈上來,食興大減,竹葉包雞,醃過的雞肉

泰式拼盤姍姍來遲,有三種小食,春卷,竹葉包雞和炸蝦餅,春卷很油,像從油缸中撈上來,食興大減,竹葉包雞,醃過的雞肉已像臘肉,失去其鮮肉的彈性和味道,而炸蝦餅亦不外如是,六件小食賣七十八元,不值。黃咖喱鮮雞煲並沒有跟飯,要另外叫,黃咖喱祇是微辣,甜甜地,頗合我們要求,從肉質和味道可辨到雞是新鮮的,薯仔,洋蔥等很入味,送飯佳品。
這是間適合我們口味的泰國餐廳,午市更有套餐,甚抵食呢!

上到尾二呢堂了,即係話我地係北角的搵食之旅已到尾聲。最後就食呢間泰國野啦。我地一入到去就俾d冷氣凍親,駛唔駛開到咁行呀?可能因為d野辣啦。我地叫左一個青木瓜沙律,佢酸酸地,又有d花生,都幾好味。又叫左一個雞肉炒飯,都幾辣下架,但係d雞真係得雞碎咁多囉。最後仲叫左一個豬頸肉麵,d豬頸肉都幾好味,但係唔知點解d麵係青色架呢?食完野之後都暖番晒,d泰國人姐姐都幾好服務,成日同我地酌水。

因去北角新光戲院買票, 故七時揾地方吃晚飯, 見有三數名客人等位, 再望望入面都頗多人光顧, 又見很久沒有試泰菜, 於是拿張飛仔等等位, 幸好等了15分鐘都有位.入去點了以下餸菜 : 青咖喱雞 煎薄餅 $25冬蔭功海鮮米線 (不確實記得名稱, 但其實是米線, 雖然餸菜名沒有米線二字)沙爹串燒 (豬和雞) 各半打我覺得4款美食都很美味, 海鮮米線的湯也很好, 酸酸辣辣很開胃, 再用青咖喱雞的汁點薄餅, 薄餅份外好吃, 沙爹串燒也很有水準. 加上此店的價錢大眾化, 難怪門外排隊等位了. 如果下次再去北角晚餐, 一定會再試試 !

我覺得4款美食都很美味, 海鮮米線的湯也很好, 酸酸辣辣很開胃, 再用青咖喱雞的汁點薄餅,
薄餅份外好吃, 沙爹串燒也很有水準. 加上此店的價錢大眾化, 難怪門外排隊等位了. 如果下次再去北角晚餐, 一定會再試試 !

星期三,下了一、兩陣雨,為炎熱嘅都市稍為降吓溫。是一個在家附近搵食嘅日子,原本嘅目標尚未正式營業,只好行遠少少,食一頓泰國菜。還記得十多年前仲係學生哥嘅時候,泰國菜不如現在開得成門成市。想食泰國菜就只有九龍城嘅「黃珍珍」,已經是不得了嘅事情。現在競爭何止激烈,水準亦提高了不少。此店在三處地方開業,顧客都唔少,生意不俗。筆者與太座一坐低,服務員便拿來蝦片($10)作小食之用(後來埋單先知蝦片唔係免費嘅)。唔好睇少呢個蝦片,絕唔係超市貨色,味帶微辣,以醒胃為主。蝦片炸得金黃鬆脆,十分可口。簡簡單單的先嚟一個柚子沙津($60)。沙津附以數隻中蝦,頗大堆頭。蝦肉爽脆,味道亦甜美,看身體嘅反應猜測,可歸納為新鮮類。柚子肉酸中帶一點澀味,需有其他香料減輕部份澀味,可惜已不能力挽狂瀾;另一道餸係鹹魚炒芥蘭($48),但餐牌上卻寫上了芥蘭炒鹹魚。需知道前者以芥蘭為主、鹹魚為副,後者則反之。故技術上嚟講可說是貨不對辦,不過筆者當然唔係無是生非嘅人。講番碟菜,也是大大碟,芥蘭爽甜,但鹹香欠奉。再吃一口鹹魚肉,只帶微鹹,全無香味,無怪乎整碟菜沒有鹹香;主菜香芋焗飯($60)。望落雖少,但食過才知份量比想像中

講番碟菜,也是大大碟,芥蘭爽甜,但鹹香欠奉。再吃一口鹹魚肉,只帶微鹹,全無香味,無怪乎整碟菜沒有鹹香;主菜香芋焗飯($60)。望落雖少,但食過才知份量比想像中多。芋頭切成粒,增加飯香,芋頭本身也焗得腍,食落滿口芋頭清香及豬油嘅甘香。當中也有幾隻蝦,同樣地蝦肉爽甜,美中不足之處係其中一隻蝦還未挑乾淨蝦腸,一條黑色嘅物體突出嚟,不合衛生。

太座嗜甜,叫了一杯特別飲品黑芝麻珍珠冰($10)。芝麻甜香濃郁,且珍珠不只是一般魚腸粉做成,咬落是有點甜味的。太座十分滿意,筆者則兼甜了點。

此餐共費二百零七蚊,平均每人一百零三蚊,份量十足,適合大夥兒,味道只是合格而已。要食好味泰菜,目前筆者只有入西貢一途。
