一直對青口非常抗拒, 可能從小到大接觸青口的場合通常是自助餐, 印象從來是長長的冷盤枱上又乾又硬咬開又黑色一"pad pad" 的青口, 又或者是甚麼海鮮湯烏冬和焗海鮮飯的又"鞋"又咬開黑色一"pad pad" 的青口......友人今天晚上請客, 說一定要試試他的飯堂 Belgos和招牌青口, 唯有賞面。友人帶我左穿右插, 完全不認得路的情況下到了位於太古坊的Belgos, 外面看過去還以為是一間在商廈大堂的星巴克分店, 一點也不起眼, 不過正因為樓底奇高, 尚算舒適。飯堂果然是飯堂, 友人甫坐下, 經理們已好像知道點甚麼了, 不消一會就送上一盤White Wine Cream Sauce Mussels。青口非常大隻, 白酒味很香濃, 不過心裡仍是對青口抱著偏見, 見友人極力推介, 也只好先擠出很好味的樣子, 以免一口吃下後變面。出乎意料地, 青口完全完全完全沒有又乾又"鞋又硬咬開又黑色一"pad pad" , 反而非常滑口, 十分鮮嫩, 配合creamy 的白酒汁, 非常可口。可能我實在太意外太驚喜了, 友人也得戚地笑說: 「沒有介紹錯吧! 」隨青口奉上的麵包醺了白酒汁也是一絕。

此時, 經理又送上一個PIZZA。我不知道這是甚麼名堂, 只知道Belgos只有3 款PIZZA, 一個是素的, 一個是羊肉的, 另一個不記得了。我們要的正是羊肉PIZZA, 羊肉略帶微微的羶 (對於我來說, 這才是羊肉應有的味道), 對羊肉一般的朋友也應該可以接受。PIZZA 批底夠脆, 料也很多, 加上厚厚鮮磨菇, 非常可口。
才吃了一半PIZZA, 經理又送上一份PAELLA。這裡的PAELLA不像正宗西班牙做的一樣大份, 只是一小盤, 三人分享, 剛剛好。海鮮飯, 當然少不了招牌青口, 還有兩隻大蝦和兩粒帶子, 用料很新鮮, 不過我不太喜歡太重的檸檬汁, 蓋過了PAELLA應有的海鮮味。
來到這裡已經很飽, 友人說吃過海鮮, 一定要配些甜點去一去膩。結果, 蘋果酥和 waffle 就為我們這一餐作一個句號。蘋果酥是經理力推之作。確實, 是熱烘烘, 很香口, 不過我認為酥底不夠鬆, 蘋果也很少, 反而上面的一球雲尼娜朱古力雪糕很有驚喜! 另外的waffle不過不失吧, 值得一讚又是那個朱古力雪糕球。

小弟生日,食家神秘地唔話我知帶我食咩,呢晚收工就去左太古坊Belgos﹗地點都幾難搵,佢拿住openrice個地圖細問幾個路人先搵到,呢度0的商場九曲十三灣,這餐廳的地點又在其中一個商場的地下部份,要搵不易﹗這個星期二的夜晚,人不多只有幾枱客,這兒燈光微暗挺有浪漫情懷,但好可惡地隔離一枱OT不停高談闊論上天文下地理,大聲講大聲笑,令人討厭呢。生日當然先來酒啦,要了兩杯house白酒,來個碰杯慶祝。睇睇餐牌覺得最有興趣的就係青口同蜆,其他如pizza、沙律沒有什麼特別,所以就先試兩款看看味道如何‧蜆份量不算多,跟上枱的仲有薯條一杯,食落新鮮清甜帶濃郁白酒香味,個汁有蕃茄及黑椒香,較得恰到好處,我估一碗大約有十五隻左右吧,可惜的是當中有兩三隻有沙,大煞風景。之後再來的是青口,細問待應之下原來佢地係用澳洲黑青口,成煲上賣相很吸引,是白汁加白酒的口味,青口隻隻肥美,入口軟糯不腥,相當creamy,好吃﹗跟青口仲有個法包,切開佢一片片用來蘸0的青口汁來吃,夠味好食﹗食哂0的蜆同埋青口再加薯條及麵包,已經是半飽了,突然待應拿住杯插了蠟燭的雪糕出來祝我生日快樂,令人驚喜,當然是食家預早準備的吧﹗許個

蜆份量不算多,跟上枱的仲有薯條一杯,食落新鮮清甜帶濃郁白酒香味,個汁有蕃茄及黑椒香,較得恰到好處,我估一碗大約有十五隻左右吧,可惜的是當中有兩三隻有沙,大煞風景。

之後再來的是青口,細問待應之下原來佢地係用澳洲黑青口,成煲上賣相很吸引,是白汁加白酒的口味,青口隻隻肥美,入口軟糯不腥,相當creamy,好吃﹗

跟青口仲有個法包,切開佢一片片用來蘸0的青口汁來吃,夠味好食﹗

食哂0的蜆同埋青口再加薯條及麵包,已經是半飽了,突然待應拿住杯插了蠟燭的雪糕出來祝我生日快樂,令人驚喜,當然是食家預早準備的吧﹗

許個願吹蠟燭再食埋個雪糕,即刻飽哂,多謝食家的安排。

當然要試mussel! d 汁嘅酒味好濃, if飲哂唔知會唔會揸車超標呢~
老實講, 我唔係好like d鬼佬唔清除青口入面嗰堆好似"so"嘅"雜草", 要我自己動手...
但味道係唔錯的! 去到真係要試一下~~

而我最鐘意個pizza, d羊肉粒炸過, 微脆, 香口但仍然保留羊嘅香味!

前晚跟P 小姐嚟Belgos East, 因為佢係青口怪, 話時話己好耐冇嚟。今晚好多人, 好彩有訂檯。我地點左個crab salad, D菜好新鮮,P 小姐叫左一大煲青口,嘩!D青口好大隻,好肥美,好juice,勁好味,正,D汁都飲埋,再加埋個麵包加牛油、鵝肝醬,簡直一流。最後當然要食我至愛Apple Pie加 雪糕。剛轉menu,冇我最愛既PE Pasta,有D失望,下次再嚟啦!

無帶相機真抱歉,記得之前嚟過一次,個次為了捧哪個青口,但不是食評中說到那麼好,但另外點了一客Prime Rib Eye竟然喜出望外的超好味,令我今次為了它再捧塲,今日太早肚餓了,所以6點多就到達,一坐底正檢視餐牌之際,服務員走來向我們說青口要7點多先有連帶其它貝殼類都係一樣,我就心想我都冇諗住食,繼而我就點菜了,今日食呢個凱撒沙律, Grilled Lamb Chops 5成熟or至愛嘅Prime Rib Eye 5成熟,先講沙律,其實普通咗d,但為免無菜多肉,羅馬生菜都算新鮮,勉强接愛啦,而老公的羊扒,上枱嘅時候樣子好似過熟,但入口軟諗諗,有種油香,加埋酥味算太强,可以再試,而我的牛扒....間直無懈可擊,好味道呢,當我哋差不多食完之際,當時我都有九成飽啦,突然有位送貨工人大大聲講(啱啱落機,空運到港)我祇見到兩盒用發泡膠盒的物體運入厨房,我老公話係青口喎,等咗一陣間就見到後面枱叫咗一客,我老公就叫個服務員埋嚟問係咪剛入厨房的青口呀,個服務員話係喎問我哋要唔要試下,我話太飽喇,但個死佬話想食喎,佢就叫我哋要客小的,老公一口就應承了,一上枱仲有一客法包跟鵝肝醬or牛油,今次個青口勁

Belgos East 的位置比較隱蔽,位於太古坊其中一商廈的地下要不是家庭聚會,專登選擇在這裏舉行,也甚少會經過、光顧記得第一次光顧時,整間店舖只得兩三台客座落於這隱蔽的位置,商廈的地段,非辦公時間真的難以吸引人來吃飯也許他需要以質素取勝,所以光顧過幾次,質素相當高,留下良好印象先說這裏的招牌菜,是比利時式青口製法相當特別,竟是整煲連汁一齊上,令客人可品嘗原汁原味的青口汁有分白汁磨姑、蕃茄,均是十分Juicy美味,而能帶出青口的鮮味如叫數客烘麵包,會順帶提供牛油、鵝肝醬這裏的牛油,當然不是普通茶餐廳吃的牛油吧,而是較香滑;鵝肝醬即是比牛油更正,用作搽麵包的配料啦這裏的意粉、Pizza水準也相當不俗,值得一試

週年紀念,小妮子話不吃中菜,要吃西餐,時代變了,由細話事。網上尋尋覓覓,起初原本打算去Grappa's,但看食評後,似乎服務欠缺些,而有食家介紹這間Belgos East,也可來一試。好不容易才找到了這間頗隱蔽的餐廳,場面冷冷清清,整晚約有二十位客人。這店以青口為主打,有數種做法,我點了一煲白酒煮青口,還有野豬肉腸,炸魚薯條,BE意粉和四號 Pizza。與白酒煮青口同來的還有粗薯條和麵包,我們四人每人約分得六、七隻青口,除白酒外,材料有甘筍絲,西芹絲,忌廉等,與青口同煮後變成湯,酒精已揮發得七七八八,醮麵包吃,一流!青口肉也不錯,但不是最好的品種,侍應的服務很細心,留意到我們吃光了麵包,便問我們是否要加添,塗麵包的雞肝醬也很美味。吃光青口,剩餘湯汁甚多,喝了一碗,但淨喝太鹹。炸魚薯條的份量頗大,伴有Tartare Sauce,外層脆漿不算太厚,魚肉質亦不錯,還有炸薯條,小妮子和小伙子開心極了,四號 Pizza 的材料有青椒,紅椒,火腿,菠蘿,煙肉等,全部切粒,批底硬而不脆,不是我們喜歡的一種,野豬肉腸伴有紅菜頭和薯蓉,肉腸是用粗肉粒做,味道很好,薯蓉與腸同吃加上些少紅菜頭,很對口胃,B

星期五晚又和薑餅人去enjoy dinner, 是夜去吃比利時mussels也~餐廳比較暗, 有live band吹奏, 氣氛不錯, 是夜也爆場.要了支白酒, 一捅mussel (白酒汁煮)兼跟薯條 和clam bowl.白酒用上冰捅盛著, 入口不太甜, 比較清新.青口鮮嫩, 白酒汁鮮甜, 湯汁可見有紅蘿白和西芹絲, 用附上的脆法包浸著湯汁吃可謂十分美味. 薯條粗身, 連薯皮炸得香口, 內鬆有薯香.用上肝醬塗在法包來吃也十分惹味.蜆用上蕃茄和辣椒來汁煮, 蜆肉雖不算肥美, 但也鮮甜. 可惜汁太辣, 害得我第一口吃後咳了一會.甜品要比利時窩夫跟Ben & Jerry’s 雪糕, 雪糕味要了Vanilla. 窩夫説是homemade, 但吃後頗失望, 因為既無牛油香, 也無甜味, 質地和味道都薄弱.多謝薑餅人~~

We went to Belgos for our anniversary.

Most ppl from facebook were choosing the white source mussel. To be saved, we also ordered the White source mussel. The waitress told us their special that night was allowing us to mixed with clam. I like clam, so we ordered the mussel mixing with clam. The clam was excellent, so as the mussel.

The bread and fries came with the mussel and clam. They were wonderful. However, since all dishes came too quickly, we were too busy having the rest, the bread cool down and it was not as good then.

We ordered the 14oz steak. It's tasty, but a little too hard to chew.

We didn't know what is Endive salad and wanted to try. It wasn't bad at all, it's different, but not enough for us who love salad.

Service was great. We were seated at the corner and it was quiet which is good. Food came a bit too quickly. It only took one and a half hour for us to finish the dinner, and we felt a little bit too rush for a western dinner.

I will go there again.

接著白酒忌廉汁青口上場, 其實點菜的時候sheep曾說想要一個湯, 但是侍應說這個汁可以當成湯的…所以建議我們不要叫湯…不過我就覺得這個汁當成湯不太好…本來我和sheep都不是喝酒的人…普通當作一個伴青口的汁是可以…但是如果當成湯喝的話, 我就覺得酒味有點重…因為多喝幾口我也覺得有點面紅…青口很新鮮而且肥美…份量亦不少~配有洋蔥蘿蔔…感覺健康….

本來以為店員忘了我們的肉腸, 因為吃完薯條和青口還未有上檯…當侍應收碟子然後換上新的, 我們就知道原來主菜一道一道上, 因為我們是share吃的…這樣是為了方便我們享用最新鮮熱辣的菜式…這個安排幾細心…不錯~

當肉腸上檯的時候…看到有一堆紫色的紅菜頭蓉和薯蓉…不過薯蓉是甜甜地, 我們都認為可能是蕃薯蓉…肉腸…有點乾…好像在吃meatball但不過是腸的形狀…醬汁很少而且不是太突出, 所以我和sheep都有點失望~或者配以醒胃的香草蕃茄汁可能更好…因為我們都不太喜歡紅菜頭的味道..所以沒吃…

青口, 麵包和薯條確實出色~所以下次路過附近我們還是會再來的~

leffe 好順喉~ 過了一陣, waitor來了d chips, 點知放底時, 有手指已接觸到之餘有條仲跌左落佢只手... 我笑說, 不如你吃左佢啦~ 佢就唔知點算又無講野就閃走左~ 哈!

唉, 香港d服務, 幾時真係會好像劉華的咁好呢?

朱古力味 - 聞下去的味道十分朱古力,但喝下朱古力味卻不算濃,味道亦很淡.
蘋果味 - 就像平時喝到的蘋果汽酒,蘋果味很重也很甜,正好和啤酒的苦澀互相中和.

這夜的主角當然是mussels,點了一pot white wine with pesto sauce($15X), 另也要了半rack spare ribs($12X),希望會有驚喜.

傳統的比利時mussels是用一個煲盛着,這裏亦是沿用這一方式,很地道. 興致勃勃的期待着,煲子一開,有點失望. 可能是煲太大而mussels太少,2/3位置是空的
. 而且,那個白酒汁是很creamy的白汁,不夠白酒,sauce是好吃,但只能說是creamy sauce而非white wine sauce. mussels 則算肥美亦新鮮,但不算入味,反之一起烹調的配料如洋蔥和蘿白絲更見惹味.

隨mussels奉送的還有薯條和麵包,這些都是吃mussels必備的,薯條既香口又有助填肚,麵包則可以用來蘸醬汁一起吃. 這裏的麵包有牛油和雞肝醬,散哪一條也只是$10,是晚也解決了兩條.

邊吃邊等spare ribs,但等了大半小時也不見踪影,一問之下,原來mussels屬starter類別,所以他們等我們吃完mussels才來主菜. 滿心期待的spare ribs終於登場,半份spare ribs有8折骨,滿佈醬汁,感覺很吸引,但一吃之下,便發現兩大問題. 一醬汁太酸,自問也是一名"呷醋"分子,但這個醬汁真的酸得太過分,剛開始時還以為可以接受,再吃第二折時已開始出汗,最後只能撥開醬汁,勉強繼續. 問題二,就是肉質,一直想尋找以前在英時吃到的,肉和骨是連著,而不是肉一咬便與骨分開.這店的ribs已經比在ruby吃到的好了,但還不符我們想要的.

這店服務還不錯,特別是那位外藉女侍應,每次都會過來問我們食物是否可以,其它的也很熱情,見桌子不穩也會主動整理.

如其它食友所言,這店除mussels外,其餘的水準都有待改善. 而mussels對我們而言亦未算是最完美,但論驚喜與服務,也值得一個笑臉的.

非常同意大家的說法!Mussel 更令我從英國吃到了香港!非常正! 要補充的是:我朋友更甚至每次都要打包湯汁回家,因為第二天早上起身仲想食! 野豬腸也要特別推薦!淡淡香草味配合精瘦的肉質,令人越吃越肚餓! 另外要提倡的是餐廳的服務,有幾個服務生很是專業。比五星級酒店的服務水準有過之而無不及!可見管理井井有條。

In my opinion, this is definitely one of the best places to have mussels in HK. Its mussels are super fresh and tasty, similar to what I have tried in Brussels before; and the white sauce is just so good - creamy and tasty ! Even the bread that came with the mussels was nice - freshly made, cripsy on the outside and soft in the inside, just perfect for dipping the sauce ! Besides the mussels, we also tried the fish and chips, which was also very nice - far better than any other that we had tried

In my opinion, this is definitely one of the best places to have mussels in HK. Its mussels are super fresh and tasty, similar to what I have tried in Brussels before; and the white sauce is just so good - creamy and tasty ! Even the bread that came with the mussels was nice - freshly made, cripsy on the outside and soft in the inside, just perfect for dipping the sauce !
Besides the mussels, we also tried the fish and chips, which was also very nice - far better than any other that we had tried locally so far.
The chips were also fine. Portions were large - we were completely full after having these 2 dishes. Of course, we also rounded up the meal with beer - a draft Hoegaarden (500ml, very nice indeed) and a honey beer (quite special in taste and worth a try). Service was also good - polite, attentive and considerate. Price was not expensive at all. Now this is one place that we will surely come back again... ...

想到這間比利時餐廳酒吧已久,上星期二有幸一到。要了兩款比利時樽裝啤,一款是 marxxxxx,正確名稱不太記得,另一款是 paulwak。前者味道較淡,飲落有點嚡口感;後者好特別,麥味重,酒味濃,幼滑順喉。飲到一半,心思思想點青口,但覺得太貴,自己又唔可以食太多,於是改點薯條。薯條薯味不太濃,勝在新鮮即炸。
