You have an option to just get the salad bar / appetizer buffet / carving station for $218 or that plus a main plu coffee or tea for $338 or add on additional $128 for free flowing wine. I went with the full monty.
First thing I'll say is that unlike some other free flowing brunches I've had in town, the servers are prompt in re-filling your glass and you don't have to ask them. That should be the minimum standard of service, but in HK it's truly exceptional. As to the value, I guess it depends on who you are. I think I got a whole bottle out of it, so I was not complaining about the price.

The buffet consists of various types of salad and appetizers. I went light because I also got a main: caesar salad, fried risotto ball, shitake mushrooms in cream sauce, and some meat and cheese. It was all good. The mushrooms were especially rich and tasty. The fried risotto ball had gotten a little cold, but that's the nature of buffets. You got to apply your own caesar dressing to the salad, so it wasn't soggy, and that's more than I can say for many a place.

This is a picture of what my wife got to give you a better feel for what's on the buffet. There's a carving station with meats, there's pasta salad, there's vegetables. Everyone else at the table just got the buffet and they all seemed to really like it. Pro-tip: the beef at the carving station was universally beloved.

I have a natural aversion to turning a salad and appetizer bar into a meal. Maybe it's all my years in grad school spent trying to assemble meals from meagre appetizer spreads after colloquia. Thus I alone at the table opted to add a main to my buffet. I got the fish & chips.

Let's start with the good: the fries are good. Nice and crisp, plentifiul, piping hot, judiciously seasoned, not greasy. Not quite as fat as you might think of "chips" in "fish & chips", but definitely good.

The fish I didn't like. It came soggy to start with. It was fatty. The fish flesh was soft. For something that is so hard to mess up, this really disappointed. Definitely not recommended.

So that's that. I'm giving this place a "smiley." They had genuine free flow sparkling wine, not sparkling wine cocktails with no wine in them, where the servers hide beneath the bar so they don't have to refill you drink. The lunch buffet was a hit with all my dining companions, and myself (special recognition here for the beef). I thought the fish in the fish & chips was a miss, but it could be a bad day for them, or it could just be me, or maybe they just stink at that dish. But on the whole, I liked the place, and would go back on a similar occasion.
Other Info. : They only hold reservations for 10 minutes BUT it didn't appear that reservations are really necessary.

好友是愛蠔人士,跟他在有蠔吃的地方飯聚,吃蠔是必然的,是夜餐廳提供2款分別來自澳洲及美國的生蠔,選擇不多,亦沒有生蠔品種的名稱,客人可選擇半打($198)或一打($358),另亦可選擇海鮮拼盤(Seafood Combo),我們點了一打的份量,美國及澳洲的分別半打。

而我是愛扒人士,這裡的牛扒同樣聞名,選擇亦多,吃扒亦是必然的,我徘徊在美國與澳洲牛之間,最後點了一份American USDA Rib Eye 14oz ($398),只因菲籍侍應說美國牛的肉質會較澳洲的更軟稔。點好了海鮮及牛扒後,我再點了一份炒香菇Maitake Mushrooms ($88)。

在如此璀璨夜景的襯托下,點了美食,美酒又怎能缺少呢,我們商議後,在長長的wine list中選了一支來自阿根廷的紅酒,為這個晚上的飯聚作個開始。

侍應先把紅酒送上,讓我們小口的嚐嚐,這支2012年出品的紅酒,入口微甜,充滿果香,口感不算太醇厚,蠻適合女生飲的,算是個不錯的選擇。

一會侍應再把餐廳特有的餐前麵包Popovers送來,兩件炸得像豬手的大麵包,外皮非常爽脆,把外皮撕開,內裡十分鬆軟,充滿芝士的奶香味,醮些餐廳自家製的牛油來吃,別具滋味。只是我必須留些空位給未到的主菜,只能輕嚐,但原來這個麵包跟紅酒配襯起來,也能產生一道特別的味韻呢

這時侍應再送來一個免費的前菜小食,就是Beef Tartare, 兩球生牛肉搓成圓形放在一隻中式湯匙上,插一片香脆的薄薄多士片,生牛肉混和了洋蔥及青葱碎粒後,生牛肉的肉腥味被蓋過了,吃起來牛肉頗軟香,夾著脆香的多士片來,一小口的份量作為主菜前的小吃是不錯的。

生蠔送上的時候,侍應窩心的提示建議我們應由左邊美國的開始吃,這款生蠔的體積明顯比澳洲的要肥美,肉質豐碩有彈性,口感creamy,蠔味濃郁。相反右邊的澳洲品種海水味要重一些,肉質仍算豐富,具微微的金屬味道,我們倆都覺得美國的品種相對地較為優勝。

吃罷生蠔,我們的肚子已經有點半滿,用上了法國廚具名牌Staub的鑄鐵鍋盛載的American USDA Rib Eye,插著一條小木條標示 "medium well",是我點的7成熟,這裡的牛排是以快烤和炭烤交替烹煮烤成,特點是在高溫烤烘下,能鎖住牛扒的鮮味肉汁。14oz的肉眼扒看上去並不是很巨型,外皮烤得微微焦脆,還傳來陣陣的炭焦香味。把肉扒切開,即時見到裡面粉紅色的幼嫩部份,肉質柔嫩而且軟稔多汁,口感飽滿兼具濃郁的牛肉香味,吃來十分滿足。

牛扒提供的醬汁選擇很多,有Steak, Horseradish, Bearnaise, Peppercorn, Chimichurri, BBQ 及Red Wine。我選了紅酒醬汁,但紅酒的味道不算強烈,個人覺得不用醮醬汁來吃更能吃到肉扒的原來鮮味。

期間送到的炒香菇Maitake Mushrooms($88),同樣用上了小小的Staub的鑄鐵鍋盛著,這個菜是用了日本的舞茸菇,這款菇類向來以其口感聞名,爽脆之餘富郁郁的菇香鮮味,這裡只用了橄欖油輕輕炒香,味道已經很好,把菇的獨有香味散發出來,向來愛吃菇菌類的我當然十分欣賞。

美國 new york strip steak 比澳洲肉眼扒要美味, 這不是我所預料的.
整體上以那個價錢來說, 牛扒的味道和肉質都不值得,不合格.

若這只是一間食風景的餐廳, 不是一間扒房, 那我無話可說.

題外話, 侍應生的態度非常差, 你是可以感受到他的attitude, 他好像並不想回應你的問題, 這全都呈現了在他的"黑臉"上.

如果只為了看風景, 我可以在行人路上, 不用付錢買這些牛扒, 受這樣的對待.

之後便是碩大的Popover,通常正宗的扒房上的會是Yorkshire Pudding為主,但這個Popover的奶香味亦能與它一爭雌雄,濃郁的奶香和爽脆的外皮,內裹鬆軟這Popover實在是非常不錯,而提供的天然的半鹹牛油也非常有水準,建議先吃上一半後留着,再沾牛肉油吃就是一絕。

如果來到BLT Steak還吃Caesar Salad未免太過對不起它的其中一道名菜Maine Lobster Salad了。份量極多的鮮龍蝦肉,肉質紮實而鮮甜,比起很多坊間所謂新鮮龍蝦更勝不止半籌,解凍得很好亦不會有冷藏味,配上牛油果和酸甜的沙律醬,可謂是非常出色的一道沙律,在香港並不多見,所有材料環環相扣又相得益彰,絕對對得起它的價錢,來到真的應該一嘗其滋味。

Horseradish and Chimichurri Sauce
BLT的牛排是以Pre-gril(快烤)和Charbroil(炭烤)交替烤成,最高峰温度高達1700F,特點是能鎖住肉汁,達至外微焦、內柔嫩的口感。當然是要了Medium Rare,要吃牛實在不作他選。Filet和Rib Eye都是以Staub鐵鍋直上,Filet比起Rib Eye來說肉香味更濃,但卻沒Rib Eye的那種軟稔多汁,肉質飽滿而富有牛肉香,如果你要入口即溶的感覺不如去吃日本和牛了,這裹給予的是種品嘗肉香的牛排,其濃烈可謂很難有出其左右,其火喉極為到位,難怪能生意鵲起。

這種所提供的Sauces亦非常多,有Steak, Horseradish, Bearnaise, Peppercorn, Chimichurri, BBQ and Red Wine。W小姐和我選了Horseradish and Chimichurri。前者為芥子醬,美式料理經常以它伴烤雞或牛扒吃之,其實是種植物的根部,配以酸奶油製成,有清新的香味並少許辛辣,自從去過澳洲後對Horseradish就一直念念不忘,這裹的Horseradish調得很好,普通的會加糖醋薑和白芥茉子,但這裹應該是即磨的,味道當然不能同日而喻了。Chimichurri則用上大量香菜葉和蒜頭,橄㰖油、檸檬汁和辣椒製成,有時會配上羊扒,我更喜歡前者但W小姐卻獨愛那Chimichurri的甜酸,這都是能配得上牛扒的好醬料,而不醮醬吃又有另一番味道。待饕客們自行選擇好了,畢竟來到世上,我們都以自己的感受去看待這個世界,主觀又有什麼錯?

必須駕車沒辦法喝紅酒的我點了兩杯Cocktail,Mango Margarita and Watermelon Cooler,富有水果香的兩杯特飲一酸一甜,酒味重了些,調得很有個性,難得的佳作。

BLT Steak服務態度的確並不太友善,特別是那些侍應多一句也會覺麻煩,但我們經常給經理照顧卻覺得沒怎樣,問起配那種Sauce更會詳細解釋,兩人到來我相信不會叫上兩塊牛扒了之後,一來太飽,二來Side Dish的感覺更為吸引,望着那夜空,五光十色,每個人都在過自己的這一晚。

其實自己越來越不喜歡生日,討厭那種那天把自己放得太高的感覺,自重感太多實在很危險,願望也只會透過努力實現,不如Block了面書的生日日期,靜靜的和家人朋友吃上一餐,更難能可貴,記得的,總會記得。

跟朋友慕名而去的,餐厅靠近维多利亚港湾,可以看夜景,地理位置非常好,就是夏天里面冷气实在太足,建议如果没有带外套的话就在out side用餐吧。主食点了招牌菜牛眼肉以及鸭胸佐鹅肝芒果,牛肉烫的时候不错,冷了一些就不好吃了,鸭胸的烟熏味别具一格,非常好吃,鹅肝太油了,让喜欢鹅肝的我很失望。餐后甜点的cheese cake 实在是太甜了,一家如此负盛名的,这样价位的餐厅做出这样的甜点简直不应该。黑松露通心粉奶味足,好吃,但是有些腻,餐前送的面包非常棒,龙虾沙拉和莫吉托都很不错,菜色繁多而且奢华,但是总的来说味道不如王品。两个人吃了一千多还是蛮不值的,但是没有去过的话还是有必要尝试一次。

Black Angus Strip Steak 我地 order medium rare, 但黎到係 medium啦。
我都預左, 所以專登叫 medium rare。

塊扒幾好味, 加埋個 garlic butter 仲好味。雖然佢有個 sauce, 但本人覺得唔需要個 sauce, 淨係 garlic butter 都已經好好味啦。不過就無 side dishes, 淨係得塊肉 (就好似張相咁)。餐廳有超過10種 side dishes, $68起。不過我怕食唔晒就無叫啦。

最後, 睇食評話個 Crepe Souffle $98 好食, 同埋係餐廳 Signature 之一。我當然要試下啦。

其實已經飽, 不過總係想試下既。個souffle 幾得意, 因為個外型唔同左。
係一塊好似奄列既 souffle, 個 textile 同正常 souffle 有d唔同, 正常 souffle 食左好似無食過野咁, 但係呢個就好似食左個好嫩個蛋咁。不妨一試。但係就少左餐廳之前應承左既 "3周年" 朱古力字囉。少少失望。

另外, 個朱古加餅個免費既。正常味道。

總括, 我覺得係好食既, 餐廳情調幾好, 暗暗地帶柔和燭光, 仲有維港景。

waited for quite a while for the main dish to arrive, my everytime favourite rib-eye. there is something addictive about this steak. i do not perfer steak that is over-tender, rib-eye has the right amount of tenderness and it is also known for its rich flavor. the dish not only was presented beautifully, it was barbequed just well, juicy, boneless and trimmed to perfection.

one thing tho, i was expecting the same quality of dessert, but the banana ice cream was full of flavour, smooth and everything u look for but the chocolate mousse was just not right, not rich not smooth and the peanut taste just not correct.
