農曆新年又到了,當然要去行行維園花市,為了避開人多擠迫,日頭去行,但行前先充飢。這是朋友介紹的,對我這個不是港島居住的人,簡直不知道有這出名的港式小食小店。因太餓的關係,點了格仔餅,因即叫即做,等得有點久,但當我拿到實物時都有點嚇一跳,簡直是鬆餅吧,因為他比一般的厚很多,原來他選料有特意的想過,用日本的麵粉,所以可以做的那麼鬆。那麼脆。加上喜歡他花生醬加練奶比例剛剛好,沒有太甜,又有花生醬香味,肯定是改良版港式小吃的好選擇。

在等朋友中途有點餓, 所以去了臨記買些小食填一填肚, 其實我一心想試香蕉PANCAKE的, 可惜又怕太甜, 而且都幾肚餓下, 所以就選擇吃小食算了....男友選的是燒賣, 牛肉球燒賣吃落很"淋", 又不夠熱, 而且沒有味道可言牛肉球算是有少許牛肉味, 但比二三線酒樓的牛肉球還差得很多! 口感不行, 太"淋"我選的是什錦咖哩 (其實我不記得叫什麼), 點完就有點心感不妙, 因為當我點完, 才在雪櫃把食物拿出來加熱...... 咖哩完全沒有味道, 顏色好像不錯, 其實一點味都沒有, 就是說咸味都沒有! 魚蛋亦無味, 又不彈牙, 魷魚吃落非常不新鮮, 有少許的異味最過份是蘿蔔! 酸的!!!! 我的媽呀, 是不是隔夜的? 最後只吃了一半就沒吃了唉, 早知都是選香蕉PANCAKE好了

我選的是什錦咖哩 (其實我不記得叫什麼), 點完就有點心感不妙, 因為當我點完, 才在雪櫃把食物拿出來加熱...... 咖哩完全沒有味道, 顏色好像不錯, 其實一點味都沒有, 就是說咸味都沒有! 
魚蛋亦無味, 又不彈牙, 魷魚吃落非常不新鮮, 有少許的異味
最過份是蘿蔔! 酸的!!!! 我的媽呀, 是不是隔夜的?

比平時的格仔餅更外脆内軟吃完亦唔會飽到上心口内餡是滿滿的花生醬牛奶仲有坊間少見蜜糖份量剛好比一般用砂糖得健康啱晒要食又怕肥既我(内心無咁大罪悪感ha)若塗上粗粒花生醬會更完美因現在的較稀很多流走了在紙袋上

等了一會,哥哥努力用風機吹到蛋仔脆身,熱熱香香,很有蛋香,一試,對不起,我討厭,只有脆的外皮,中間的粉漿是不熟,可以拉長。

雖然蛋粒飽滿,但遇人只有不淑,很多人喜歡雞蛋仔外脆內心軟的漿,可惜不對我口味。

兒時在港島區長大,一直都是用火爐燒的雞蛋仔,蛋糕的口感與外脆的表面,現在很多店高科技電器化的雞蛋仔不是空心就是沒有蛋糕的口感,舊式味道與先進科技,終究不能追溯到人的味道回憶中。

Walked by after lunch at Shek Kee, and decided to give the eggettes a try. They are made to order, and the wait can be 8 minutes or more, especially if there are others in front of you. I still remember 30 years ago when I had my first eggette off a push cart, also in the Tin Hau area, but those illegal push cart vendors are all gone (to get that same flavor, you have to go to Tai O now for that).

The eggette came out smelling and looking right. The smell seemed a little bit too strong, almost a vanilla like presence. The taste was also not quite right, even for what is supposed to be "original flavor".....definitely too much of a vanilla flavor. Perhaps Americans and ABC might like this, but not me.

Very sad....I did not finish this. :-(

再吃深層一點,
餅心軟綿綿充滿質感,絕對是外脆內軟,
內裡的奶醬較流質,但香甜花生醬味也濃,

簡單而美味~
按比例來看的話,如果花生醬能再多一點就更好~
蘋果茶實在喜歡它改用了蜜糖減低了整體的甜度,
即使一個人吃完一底,也不會有太飽腹滯口的感覺呢。

有人覺得傳統的經典好,也有人覺得創新改革好,
蘋果茶就認為,各有各的好,各有市場。
Other Info. : 我們兩個人每人吃完一底,再買4底格仔餅回到公司, 發現即使放涼了,也不會出現紙袋佈滿油漬的現象, 這大慨是低糖少油,和傳統的分別了。

自從開始在炮台山附近上班後, 每到中午或放工時, 就開始很好奇的在走到天后那邊看看有什麼好吃的店子. 這天經過了這家賣雞蛋仔的, 聽說好評都幾多, 所以便買了一底來試試.不過一底要HDK$18好貴呢.但聽說這裡用的是日本麵粉, 加上低糖無油脂成份, 而蛋漿是特別調成比較淡味, 吃起來沒那麼滯.一底剛剛做起拿上手非常的熱辣辣, 入口果真是非常香脆, 中間的蛋芯軟棉可口, 不過味道真的是比較淡, 蛋味略欠. 宅女自己還是比較喜歡吃蛋味重一點的.不過整體口感也算是不錯的. 除了價格貴一點之外, 在這一帶來說這個雞蛋仔算是吃得過了.

早前經過臨記,天后這間小食店出品都是用上日本麵粉,低糖,無油,所以可說這裡賣的是健康小食。我想起都有一段時間無食過這裡出品的雞蛋仔了,便過去買一底吃吃($18)。等候期間我透過玻璃看到雞蛋仔和夾餅的製作,店內乾淨整潔,衛生情況很理想。店內只有一名店員慢慢的預備食物兼收銀,一腳踢,所以要等得較耐,如果趕時間的話就要注意了。終於我的雞蛋仔做好了,拿在手中熱辣辣又香,真是未吃已覺得開心。雞蛋仔吃起來每粒都質感實在,味道帶淡淡的甜味,反而更能吃得到烤雞蛋仔的香味。可能足料吧,吃完後很飽肚呢。

等候期間我透過玻璃看到雞蛋仔和夾餅的製作,店內乾淨整潔,衛生情況很理想。店內只有一名店員慢慢的預備食物兼收銀,一腳踢,所以要等得較耐,如果趕時間的話就要注意了。

終於我的雞蛋仔做好了,拿在手中熱辣辣又香,真是未吃已覺得開心。
雞蛋仔吃起來每粒都質感實在,味道帶淡淡的甜味,反而更能吃得到烤雞蛋仔的香味。可能足料吧,吃完後很飽肚呢。

天后是我曾經很熟悉的地方, 因為舊公司就在這裡是晚放工到天后上baking class, 沒有時間坐下晚餐, 就買底雞蛋仔頂下肚在舊公司工作時不時都會幫襯臨記, 大半年沒有來, 原來已經漲價不少由從前的$14到現在的$18, 順道拍下價目表給大家參考有別於街邊檔, 臨記的環境比較衛生, 而且顧客可以看到整個製作過程店面有老闆和一位店員, 老闆負責製作食物, 女店員負責收銀雞蛋仔是即叫即造的, 等候時間在十分鐘以內, 等候時可以見到蛋漿非常杰身, 是真材實料臨記出品的雞蛋仔和夾餅標榜用上日本麵粉. 而且不含牛油. 感覺較為健康一點雖然雞蛋仔到手時已在風機吹了一陣子, 但仍是熱辣辣的, 拿上手很重而且硬身因為沒有油的關係, 雞蛋仔的表面很乾, 而且吃落不太鬆軟且有點實咬開可以見到中間是一半空心一半夾心餡, 製作技巧是不錯的, 問題只是因為無落牛油, 自然比較失色這種口感的蛋漿個人認為弄夾餅還可以, 作雞蛋仔就有點不合了臨記的雞蛋仔不能說非常好吃, 不過也有它的賣點, 而且材料真的認真和較健康可是定價太高, 如果有別的選擇我還會選普通有牛油的雞蛋仔, 反正不是常吃

咬開可以見到中間是一半空心一半夾心餡, 製作技巧是不錯的, 問題只是因為無落牛油, 自然比較失色
這種口感的蛋漿個人認為弄夾餅還可以, 作雞蛋仔就有點不合了

路過小店的門前,看到有3、4人排隊,才知道有這麼一間小吃店。見到他提倡以日本麵粉來做香港的傳統小食,於是便向老闆要了一底雞蛋仔。從沒想過雞蛋仔也可變成無油、低糖的「較健康」小食。等了約5分鐘,雞蛋仔便出爐了。拿在手上熱烘烘的,忍不住撕了一塊放進口中。雞蛋仔熱倒是夠熱,也夠新鮮,但卻沒有應有的雞蛋味。整底雞蛋仔都沒有味道,吃了就像沒吃過一般,很是令人失望。小店也算得上乾淨整潔,不像一般的外賣小食店般馬虎。味道比普通更普通,但價錢卻比一路光顧的那間小食店高出一倍,簡直物超所值。

Went to Tin Hau for lunch with friends and saw this little shop which sells waffle and egg ball. There were few ppl lining up in front of me. I oredered this waffle which costed $18!!! I later found out they use some quality ingredients include japanese flour. Well taste is very standard and I think they put too less sugar in it and maybe good for health concern ppl. Over all the shop is clean and the wait time is ok. Maybe i will come back and ask for more sweet next time!
