Pic 1️⃣: Baked Samosa - $168 hkd
— A must order when coming here and I totally understand why now! This samosa makes use of jackfruit meat that resembles the texture of pork, making this dish suitable for vegetarians as well. The samosa’s exterior was thin and crispy that contrasted well with the filling. The jackfruit meat was so well seasoned with a nice kick to it that wasn’t overpowering. The yoghurt sauce on the side was a nice complement to the spice and
added a creamy element to the dish.


Pic 2️⃣: Old Delhi Butter Chicken - $268 hkd 🐓
— So good! The sauce was extremely fragrant and flavourful with hints of tomato to balance out the creaminess of the dish. This wasn’t overly spicy and went perfectly alongside the garlic naan. The chicken was tender and absorbed the sauce nicely. I personally loved the addition of cashews in this for that extra crunch.


Pic 3️⃣: Tandoori Beef Cheek - $308 hkd 🐮
— Perfectly grilled whilst the inside remained tender and juicy. This wagyu beef cheek was seasoned well, with the kashmiri chili and cinnamon giving it that nice aroma. It went really well with the hung yoghurt that balanced out the inherent oiliness in the meat.


Pic 4️⃣: Chocolate Praline Naan - $108 hkd 🍫
— Was slightly apprehensive about ordering this at the beginning but its uniqueness really caught my eye. This combination worked surprisingly well and was a lot lighter than expected. The chocolate sauce wasn’t overly sweet, and I loved the thin, crispy texture of the naan. The coconut ice cream was creamy and rich, and went well with the warm chocolate naan. A good variety of chopped nuts for extra flavour and crunch.


Pic 5️⃣: Garlic Naan - $88 hkd 🧄
— Perfect pairing with any curry. Made fresh to order, the naan was served piping hot to our table. The garlic taste was strong and really fragrant.

— Good way to start the meal!


📍Ambiance: Comfortable seating, staff are polite and attentive. Restaurant is beautifully decorated.

⭐️Would visit again?: Yes! (If only it wasn’t so hard to get a reservation 🤣)

想不到第一次能吃到Chaat的印度菜, 是老婆心血來潮想在疫情下吃一頓好一點的外賣, 為了保持食物質素, 在拿到外賣後直接乘坐的士回家, 由食物放入外賣盒到回家少於三十分鐘, 但真的打了折扣, 特別是Garlic Naan, 雖然仍然有蒜蓉的香味, Naan口感也還算軟熟, 但味道層次平淡, 沒有烤香, 也沒有熱烘烘的溫度而令香味更散發的元素, 以八十多元的定價來說, 我還是吃北角烤爐印度餐廳的Naan就好, 這可是四倍價錢呢!外賣菜單也因為物理形式的限制, 有很多Signature Dishes, 例如是大樹菠蘿咖喱角和Sweet Potato Chaat也不能包括在內, 菜單能提供的主要是肉類. 今次一口氣點了雞, 魚和羊肉, 賣相不算精緻, 只用普通紙盒裝著, 對於一間米芝蓮星級以及位於五星級酒店內的食肆, 有點馬虎呢, 幸好食物質素還算滿意.雞肉是傳統的舊德里咖喱, 除了乳酪的順滑外, 其咖喱有鮮蕃茄的果酸, 以及葫蘆巴的甘草楓糖漿味是其Highlight, 味道比其他印度餐廳突出得多. 先酸後甘再加上尾韻的甜, 然後才是喉嚨頂上來的微辣, 如此層次豐富的咖喱在香港倒是第一次品

咖喱魚用上智利鱸魚, 口感嫩滑無骨, 鮮味活潑, 所以用上的咖喱也是添加椰奶, 甜香之餘也令魚塊本身更順滑, 味道和口感而言很不錯, 但三百元只有三舊魚, 我不能說是性價比高就是.

羊架用上薄荷醬再在乎表面灑上開心果, 羊架件頭夠, 用手拿起來吃甚有霸氣, 烤得外焦內稔, 沒有太多香料配搭, 除了羊肉羶香外, 提味的就是倚靠着微烤開心果的Nutty, 簡單但味道配搭令人滿意. 接近千多元的外賣, 感受到Chef Manav在味道配搭上的功架, 期待堂食的菜式更能感受到他的心恩, 至於抵食與否, 我只能說見仁見智就是.

Chaat, led by Chef Manav, is one of the most luxurious Indian restaurants in HK. I can hardly reserve for a table and have tasted her cuisines by takeaway. The curry chicken and fish are excellent. The curry taste is complicated. Using traditional Indian ingredients such as Febugreek make the cuisine more original and traditional. Lamb rack is the dish showed me the meaning of “simple is the best”. A bit costly for takeaway but can feel how attentive Chef Manav he is.

Baked Samosa 焗餡角
一般Samosa是釀入肉類以高温炸成,外觀不太討好而油膩感重。偶然看到餐牌上是以烤焗處理並以大樹菠蘿內饌,立刻有一點心動。服務員把菜送來時,真的顛覆了我對Samosa的印象。四份的Samosa有如兒時街頭吃的可愛小甜筒,兩口便送到肚子裏。內裏雖說是大樹菠蘿做的餡料,卻有著肉的口感,味道濃郁,而又健康。

Old Delhi Butter Chicken 舊德里奶油雞
Old Delhi Butter Chicken起源於1950s的印度舊德里,說來就是咖哩雞。它跟Curry 或 Masala,原來秘訣是以酥油及蕃茄作基底淆製,香料温和濃郁而不辛口,讓咖哩更稠更滑。當然咖哩必要跟烤餅搭配,不消一刻枱上的烤餅就清光了。

Tandoori Wagyu Beef Cheek 唐多里烤牛面頰
Tandoori 製法是肉類放在窯爐裏燒,外表炭焦,內𥚃嫩香。這次用上和牛面頰肉,肉質軟腍,脂肪不多但骨膠原豐富,把肉汁肉香凝固,令味道更香更濃厚。碟盆伴随著香草乳酪及青檸,蘸點在肉上吃,但本人則較喜歡原味,享受烤肉的純味道。

但對我來講,都係偏濃味咗少少😅
而米芝蓮一星來講,價錢算好合理
如果book位易啲,會再覆桌☝🏻
