一大班朋友外出晚飯,想要吃風味港式小菜,就選擇了多次光顧的燦記路邊雞海鮮飯店。餐廳環境是傳統的港式餐廳格局,空間不算大,侍應服務是走平民路線,有時未必會照顧周到,但都算親切。路邊雞雞肉嫩滑有雞味,肉質結實不會過肥,配搭蔥油惹味十足。薯仔炒牛柳粒牛柳的火喉剛好,不會過韌,而薯仔炸得香脆,配上蜜糖醬,令人一塊接一塊的吃。乳鴿乳鴿皮脆入味,跟其他酒樓的質素差不多。籠仔蒸蝦飯開邊蝦配上蒜蓉,飯吸收了滿滿的蝦汁,但如果可以多點蝦就更好,因為不太夠一枱人分呢。炸鮮奶已經得少地方可以點炸鮮奶,所以也是每到必點的甜品。鮮奶很香滑,外皮炸衣很酥脆。小炒王花椒鼓油皇炒米

來左呢間路邊雞食左好多次, 但今次有 D 唔同, 其實 D 野都係自己平時食開果 D , 不過今日個賣相真係靚仔左好多, 所以上枱就即時加哂分, 大家都知呢間係做街坊小菜, 味道就當然唔會點差啦, 如果唔係都唔會成日過來食其實屋企唔會成日點煲燉湯的話, 落來呢度飲真係幾方便, 起碼價錢唔貴, $3X 就有一個, 而且好多選擇, 用料又足既燉湯, 飲入口就知道係有料到 ! 另外就係呢度既小炒皇, 非常之惹味, 尤其我最喜歡食既魚干仔, 韮菜, 完全係匹配 ! 雜魚基本上每次來都會叫, 有時會有 3, 4種唔同既魚, 今次就兩種, 佢地呢度既做法係椒鹽, 真係可以話好食到連骨都食埋, 因為今次想食炸大腸, 所以就叫左來食, 熱辣辣又好味, 少少脆, 咬入口果種感覺難以形容, 不過就真係要襯熱食, 凍左就會比較硬身 D !

由黃竹坑去九龍城 ,搭地鐵快,但轉了幾次線,要行,好累出口直行過馬路已到達.,非常方便反而老爺奶奶由紅磡搭巴士來,塞車。6點15分到達,幸好無book位,仍有枱。我見6點已坐滿一半。好耐無食過炸大腸,但呢間唔脆本想食鵝腸,但他們不太喜好內臟,所以我只選炸大腸蜆介鯪魚球,鯪魚球太咸。池記好好味。好耐無食蜆介醬蝦醬通菜,醬不太夠,也太咸唔覺是新鮮雞,幸好不肥,雞皮無太多脂肪,夠滑。肉質唔夠質感。墨魚膠不錯,彈牙,有墨魚味招牌肉,豬扒有點肥只有5人,未能試炸饅頭,椒鹽九肚魚,大良炸鮮奶......

相傳路邊雞的起名有兩個, 一是因為創辦人在九龍城寨的路邊擺檔賣白切雞, 另一個是因為在那裏工作的苦力, 吃飯時候只能在路邊吃其切雞飯, 無論如何, 這家已有70年歷史的燦記, 不如其他在九龍城的出名食肆般高調, 從攤檔變成餐廳, 默默地見證着九龍城的變化. 以其名命的路邊雞其實就是白切雞, 雞味夠, 雞肉肉質嫩滑, 雞皮口感彈牙, 除了從雞肉質素見得出是新鮮雞外, 這裡提供的雞雜也是證明. 薑蓉也比傳統的不同, 以高湯代替油, 味道柔和也較少油膩感.鍋貼小棠菜外皮香脆沒油膉味, 內裡用上魚肉蓉, 口感彈牙, 外表公整, 和餐廳店面的平實外觀相映成趣. 至於豉椒白鱔味道一般, 份量偏小, 而且每件件頭細, 白鱔還有少許泥味, 相對來說就有點失色了.

很久沒有吃大牌檔小炒,今天幾位大男人半年沒聚,來到年青時的街邊大牌檔燦記路邊雞(現已入舖),點些高脂下酒菜懷舊下,也預祝中秋節。招牌菜- 正宗路邊雞,加碟雞雜浸雞手藝出色,吃到以前廣東白切雞的做法,新鮮雞,皮爽脆,皮下有啫喱狀脂肪,九剩熟,骨髓帶紅,不柴不起渣,雞肉滑到不得了。配上特別的流質薑蔥醮汁,真是絕配。雞腸爽脆,肝粉嫩,腎甘香。很久很久沒有吃到這樣好吃的雞雜。(要吃雞雜最好預定,供應不多)。炸鮮奶拼芝心蝦丸炸鮮奶,夠香甜外皮脆,不用醮煉奶已十分好吃。芝心蝦丸,外皮有點硬,不過不失。豉汁蒸大白鱔例牌,十件新鮮大鱔片,豉汁調味適中,肉爽滑。炸大腸大腸外觀很吸引,皮脆,腸頭厚的部份有咬口,其他薄的醮糖醋汁也很香脆。蒜香煎雜魚椒鹽九肚魚兩個魚也做得不錯,香脆,我個人便比較喜歡那些帶骨煎的雜魚,用手拿着吃更是知味。蠔仔煎蛋這煎蛋不是坊間的潮式炸蠔餅,只是一大塊雞蛋煎蠔,蛋香味濃,但蠔仔不多。砵酒焗蠔蠔隻不大,有7,8件,但砵酒香氣不夠。鍋貼小棠菜菜上桌很靚,味道可以,但感覺蝦膠拌粉多了點,質地不夠爽。花椒豉油皇炒麵簡單的一個豉油皇炒麵,乾身好味,不過加了花椒油便有些不習慣。點了十一個菜,

好耐都無食過好食嘅小炒了,今次黎到路邊雞,再捨返細細過食開嘅味道。我最中意嘅當然係砵酒焗蠔,好食到爆!用唔到嘅香蒜,紅蔥頭,加上紹興酒整成醬汁,再炸脆生蠔外面,食落簡直係人生一大樂事!另外呢到嘅係其他小炒都相當岀色,啫嘟雞呀,生炒骨呀,都係一絕,尤其係蒸粉絲蝦,每次叫呢個送,我可以食到幾碗飯,唔講得笑嫁。係呢個連鎖店越開越多嘅年代,要食d獨有嘅味道真係越黎越難,所以我自己好珍惜呢d餐廳,有機會一定會幫襯!

與朋友一起慶祝生日,好耐都冇去過九龍城搵食,上網搜尋搵到呢間,預早訂位。飯店格局並唔係食裝修。一枱8人加2位小朋友。點了:沙薑豬肚、薑汁芥蘭、肉鬆蒸水蛋、炒鵝腸、路邊雞、焗蠔、炸鯪魚球、客家小炒、黃金蝦球、鍋貼小棠菜、生炒糯米飯、椒鹽鱔片⋯⋯⋯味道好唔好就好講個人口味,但我覺得真係唔錯,至少feel到尊重食材,絕唔係集團式hea煮。朋友們食到最後才發現有燉湯,下次要再去試吓!
