All Day Breakfast Set 只需 $68,但係其實仲有一個大D既set 叫做 Beat Day ,我見今日做佐咁多運動,應該有 quota 吃得更多,所以就放縱一下,選了一個大份既 Beat Day !

呢個set 有齊炒蛋、牛仔腸、茄汁豆、蕃茄、蘑菇、煙肉、粟米粒、生菜同埋窩夫,份量認真豐富。

因為係即叫即做既關係,所以保證新鮮,同埋夠哂熱,特別係呢個滑蛋做得好好,半熟既狀態夠哂滑,蛋味亦夠濃夠香。

而呢個set 既飲品可以選 Hot Coffee , Apple Juice ,或者 Orange Juice ,但係就唔可以 order 其他既特式咖啡,最後我就揀佐 Apple Juice 。

而我最後就在店員既推介中選了她們的 signature cake - 野莓心形蛋糕。

這款 signature cake ,單是紅色形既賣相已經十分吸引,而我到訪當日,這件蛋糕更加是只淨一件!

這件蛋糕既表層Bavarian Kinh ,內層有 Black Currant Jelly 和 Raspberry Jelly 兩款,而底部則有 Almond Sponge 。

成件蛋糕食落既感覺好 soft ,酸中帶甜,而甜度係清淡既甜,而唔會令人食到很口乾的感覺,好好味。

這杯 Cappuccino 既啡泡打得很綿身,啡泡已帶濃郁既咖啡香,而飲落佢既咖啡濃度唔算高,起碼唔會令人有 「叮」一聲醒哂既感覺,但配上蛋糕則剛剛好。

Although Mother's Day UK is in March, in other parts of the world it is in May.For the coming mothers day on the 12th of May, Chez Shibata has this beautiful rose cake topped with real rose petals, edible water droplets and gold foil.This cake appealed to me because it was fluffy cake in the middle with silky light Chantilly cream and strawberries.If you love the simplicity of cake and cream with a sophisticated appearance then I would recommend this cake.

Ordered the Salted caramel butter eclair because I love eclairs.
It was topped with salted caramel glaze and cubes of butter topped with maldon salt.
The first thing I did was scraping off the butter cubes because its weird eating it like that just like those pineapple buns.
Overall the eclair was quite nice with the salted caramel glaze and it wasn't too sweet.
In the middle it was filled with caramel cream.
The only thing that I didn't like was that the choux pastry because it was a bit stale as it was dry and hard which makes me wonder how long it has been sitting there.

Well, it's back! Taken under it's wing by Tsui Wah as they venture into a more Japanese inspired dining area in Central. Located behind the Beat Bakery, is a coffee shop.


Seating here is much like many cafes. They even have places for you to charge your laptop or phone.  Menu is in English and Chinese. Serving not only cakes but they also have coffee, tea and other drinks along with salads and sandwiches. There is no 10% service charge. Dining in, they will bring the food to you after you order at the cashier.

I ordered a  strawberry short cake ($39) and if you add $18, you get a coffee so I chose a latte. The cake was pretty to look at. The sponge was soft and moist. The cream fluffy and slightly sweet. How Japanese cream usually is. The strawberries were sweet and fresh. The blueberries were a nice touch. For $39, this is a great deal for cake!

I ordered a latte. They had a cute little motto on top of the foam. However, the coffee was pretty much forgettable. It was bland. Definitely not recommend the coffee here.

Service was exceptional. There is someone who explains things to you that it got a bit distracting while I was trying to decide on a cake. The cakes were great and prices not expensive at all.  It is very quiet here. Seating is comfortable and I would definitely be back if I needed a cake break.

Located on Stanley Street, Chez Shibata is under BEAT Bakery which makes gourmet bread. I have tried quite a number of their bread in Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station branch, and would always love to go back for their high quality bread that is made with natural yeast and ingredients. Top layer of chocolate mousse was so smooth, the middle layer of sponge cake was very airy and delicious. Bottom layer of cheery wine soaked fruit was a bit of nice surprise. The cake was wrapped with rich chocolate, nom nom! Would definitely drop by again to try out other cake items, and probably also the Japanese restaurant joint to it.

半熟芝士蛋糕 💰:$32 / $320
對蛋糕有啲了解嘅人,一眼睇到個名,可能會令你聯想到半熟工房,但係小編問過,其實係冇「La Lung」嘅。而我食完,第一口感覺,好味!面層嘅Cream 好香牛奶味,唔漏,配埋芝士蛋糕,好有效果。芝士蛋糕甜中帶滿滿嘅芝士香,綿感足夠,有少少適中嘅漿口感,但唔嚴重。而底部餅底OK,夠脆口硬淨,有牛油香,餅底仲夾有驚喜,有原粒榛子係入面,正喎。好少會餅底加入原粒榛子去做,從而增加口感,特別。整體糕身好軟熟,好軟綿綿。由面嘅軟身輕飄飄嘅Cream,到中間半軟熟嘅芝士蛋糕,再到底嘅硬淨餅底,口感好分明。$32蚊,食晒軟綿硬嘅層次,Good!一個人食一件,算接受。

紫醉金迷紫薯忌廉撻

好香紫薯味呀喂,好香,好味。甜就甜啲啲,但口感好溫馨!佢啲紫薯係泥嘅質感,粉粉哋(即係好似芋泥咁)。加埋入面有好味嘅忌廉,好融為一體。正當條脷俾紫薯泥冚住時,黑加侖子醬個Fresh會hit到條脷。而我亦都好欣賞佢個底,係撻底,好好味。𠵱款蛋糕仲只係香港限定,值得一試,好味!好豐富嘅紫薯泥,好多,好味。而佢體形較為長身,屬於大件頭,我覺得兩個人Share會好啲,會有啲「點到即止」嘅感覺。一個人食可能就會有少少覺得「乜食咗咁多啖,都仲未食完嘅」

總結:唔錯,蛋糕好味,高質。服務都好好,就算嗌完蛋糕,店員會攞埋上檯俾你。但在蛋糕上檯時,覺得可以高格調啲。例如堂食,可以幫客人攞走埋張包蛋糕嘅膠紙,同埋可以攞走埋放底嘅底紙同膠底盤。其實人類一小步,個感覺會好好多。同埋其實佢仲有好多款蛋糕,我都好想試,包括紅莓吉士盒同 Cream Puff。睇吓遲吓有機會,再開心Share! ————————————————————
