同媽咪黎Heritage1881 食tea，環境好優雅，好適合談心。3點幾都唔係好多人，得一兩個外國人坐佐戶外，我們怕曬，當然就坐入面啦朱古力心太軟，都算大個，兩個人分剛剛好。頗為流心，一切，朱古力漿都有湧出黎，朱古力都好優質，但我覺得有少少偏甜。如果伴碟可以靚d同埋有多d士多啤梨會再好d。

    A business colleague (friend also) and I decided to visit Galley Cafe & Dining for lunch because we were told about the Executive Set Lunch discount by a fellow colleague. We arrived a little early for lunch, so it wasn't too busy at the time.      We loved the mix between the white ceramic tiles and the light hardwood floors (main area) with deep brown mahogany wood walls. Add in the pictures of Old Hong Kong on the walls, and you have a great spot to relax and enjoy a lunch.

     We were first seated in the main area of the restaurant by the friendly host. The table was overlooking the busy street below and was nice, but we asked to be moved to the cozy front bar area near the terrace. The Server obliged and moved us to the front area, closer to the bar. A perfect lunch spot for two . Plus, there is a large sky light that provides beautiful natural light in the front area.

     We were immediately drawn to the Burger Lunch Menu presented by the Server and ordered the Thai Sirloin Steak Burger (to share). It was served on a Ciabatta Roll and topped with a green papaya salad and sweet chili sauce. It was well balanced between sweet and spicy and the Ciabatta roll was nice and soft, but also lightly grilled, which added some extra crunch. Sirloin was cooked medium and had good texture and taste.

     We added a side of Onion Rings and also ordered a few appetizers: Deep Fried Camembert Balls and Grilled scallops wrapped in pancetta. We found the Camembert Balls very crispy on the outside with the cheese pleasently melted on the inside.

     The Grilled Scallops were very tasty with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing added to the top and a wedge of lemon for adding to each scallop. Yummy!!

     It is not a very large pizza, so was easy for us to share. If we had not ordered the other dishes, one of us could have easily finished the entire pizza by ourselves. The pizza is a thin crust and crisp. They are not shy on the cheese (thank you....love cheese). We liked that they do not over do it with the pineapple, sometimes a Hawaiian pizza can have too many pineapple pieces, but this had a good balance between the pineapple and ham. Maybe they could have added a little more tomato sauce. But overall a very nice pizza!! Another thing we really enjoyed was the music playing in the background.....nice and chill and relaxing and not too loud. Servers were friendly and attentive. Overall, a very enjoyable lunch. We will definitely come back.....perhaps for dinner and sit outside on the terrace.

    今年男友生日來到了1881上面既galley cafe，可以坐餐廳裏面或者外面， 外面八點可以觀賞幻彩詠香江，不過當日天氣實在是太熱了， 所以我們坐裏面，景觀亦不錯的。首先來個田雞沙律配烤雞，烤雞都幾好味， 大大件烤雞， 肉質卻不會粗糙，甚至幾濕潤。沙律既TOPPING偏酸， 不過入面有粒釀左芝士的辣椒仔十分特別， 其實我亦不知道是不是辣辣，不過我食到辣辣地。MAIN COURSE方面，叫了安格斯肉眼排同BBQ BACK RIP， 超大件，兩個人真係食不完的。肉眼的味道偏啖， 汁是按自己需要加的， 我加了比較少的汁， 所以會更吃到肉味。我叫了七成熟， 不過好似有點過熟了。BBQ肋骨的燒汁幾好味，啖啖肉。因為不想飲酒，所以我們叫了兩杯MOCKTAIL， 一杯叫UNDER THE SUN，一杯叫Eve'Garden,麻麻，飲不出是什麼味道。但因為這裏的茶只有熱的， 而MOCKTAIL又好想比果汁化算，所以都沒有太多選擇。

I wonder should the 2nd such mini cup of tap water be free to provide. No matter how, it is the first time I see so called a decent restaurants have policy like this. No such practice i found in wooloomooloo, ritZ calton, cova, or cafe de carol, it is So strange t

      喺The Entertainer見到1881有買一送一offer, 在這個好環境之下竟然有折扣，那不是太好的事嗎？所以就決定四人行去食晚餐～一入店，有分outdoor & Indoor...　由於欣賞風景外面會較好，便決定outdoor... 不用擔心太凍的問題，因為會有暖氣提供的一打開meun, 價錢不太便宜…但幸好有買一送一的優惠 分別點了牛肉（兩碟），一碟魚及一碟羊架…4點水準都不錯，而魚較多洋蔥，魚肉都比較滑，不會腥…至於牛肉方面，肉汁都足但不夠熱…令人有點失望...最後羊架： 肉味不夠，可以更好但在這個環境好的地方下食飯，聊天飲酒，是人不錯的選擇吧。

         先試下層的鹹點煙三文魚伴魚子醬，小小的一件，底層脆脆的，煙三文魚肥美而富有油脂香，可惜魚子醬沒有什麼味道，不然會更討好啦~
        迷你漢堡有牛味及雞味，二者都是用芝麻酥皮取代了漢堡麵包，帶來了更豐富的芝麻香氣，添了酥脆的口感~~ 而牛肉及雞肉的風味都不錯，鮮嫩多汁的~
        洋蔥芝士撻芝香甜美，而意大利香菇撻則菇香四溢~
        但最喜歡還是酥炸芝士球，用一個小小的點心籠盛著，很精緻，外表炸得金黄鬆脆，內裡流心鹹香，美味呀！

        迷你甜撻有兩款，一款的撻上有果醬及椰絲，焗過的關係，比較香口且帶有椰香！另一款是撻上有忌廉及果醬，沒有火花的一個組合，略嫌粗製了一點,..
        朱古力慕絲濃郁但粗糙，而檸檬乳酪雖然很滑，但酸得要命！完全不能入口呀...
        布朗尼蛋糕是最可取的一道甜點，外層焗得脆脆的，而內裡則厚身濃郁，很不錯~

        兩份Tea set for 2，原本一份要$318，但因為用了Entertainer apps buy 1 get 1 free 的關係，兩份tea set for 2 連加一都只是$350，雖然甜點不吸引，但抵食極啦~~
        手上還有main dish buy 1 get 1 free 的優惠，下次再來試試先~

          They have those massive windows which offer you an enjoyable Panoramic view (enough to distract you from the not-so-appealing food they served later on). As I recall, palm trees and white umbrellas are spotted. Excuse my rather bland description on structural designs. After all, food is what matters!
          Drinks are first served and I know how the rest of the meal is going to be like.
          Sorry that I don't have pictures for the drinks. Otherwise, you will be shocked how that is even be called a Cappuccino! The foam is not velvety. Just a single sip, the foam 'collapsed', leaving only half of the Cappuccino. Mocha is barely drinkable. It has no difference with a plain iced chocolate. Did their coffee beans run out of stock? Too sweet, the bottom is still hot, the top tastes like water because of the melting ice---unacceptable.
          Presentation is so-so. I do like the idea of the mini bamboo steamer, but it is not consistent with the theme of the afternoon tea set (if they do have one for it).
          For sweets:
          Lemon curd--too sweet, warning: which could potentially lead to tooth decay
          Brownie
          Scones
          Mini sweet tarts
          Chocolate mousse--best of all. with crumbles.
          **Nothing draws my particular attention. They are the sweets you can have in any dessert places.
          For savoury:
          Smoked Salmon with Caviar roll: Salmon is not fresh
          Mini chicken & beef burger: a twist from normal burgers. Pastries replaced the flour bread.

               第一次吃以意式Ciabatta盛著上檯的Egg Benedict，但原來質感鬆軟中帶點韌的它，比英式Muffin麵包更加方便吸索香濃蛋汁。加上兩隻蛋都煮得火候剛好，蛋香濃郁又流心，加上松露荷蘭醬，以及香口油潤的煙三文魚，味道美妙動人之極，推介！可知囝囝也是蛋迷，這天也首次嘗試了這款珍饈，為食豬超級的喜歡！不過半熟蛋幼兒還是不宜多吃，一小口過後，還是交回爸爸媽媽吃掉啦。

                  第一眼看到，以為只有一隻虎蝦，但翻開大蝦看看，原來共有兩隻大虎蝦和三隻帶子的！海鮮份量豐富，質量也非常高，烤得微微的焦香，海鮮的鮮甜更突出！至於意大利飯也很對辦，軟硬度適中，對我來說可以硬一點，混著香濃忌廉汁、巴馬臣芝士和香草，味道非常濃郁美味～ 推介！

                  點選甜品時，餐廳經理推介一道off menu甜品給我們率先品嚐！一聽到是Crepe類甜品，毫不猶疑就點了～ Crepe帶一點煙韌的，浸滲著濃郁的牛奶焦餹醬，還帶有強烈橙香，甜度比較高，但香甜得極之美味！還配以軟滑呍呢拿雪糕和焦糖果仁脆糖，味覺與口感層次 豐富～ 我強烈建議他們把這甜品放進menu去！

                    感謝galley café & dining店方的邀請，好讓我倆率先品嚐甜蜜的情人節下午茶，感受濃濃的情人節浪漫氣氛～走到熟識的1881香港殖民地歷史建築，今次別有一番感覺，換上了巨型紫玫瑰與邱比特的情人節佈置，加上風和日麗的好天色，心情特別靚靚～ 超巨型的一大束紫色玫瑰紙雕花，好靚呀～ 忍不住捉老公影張合照  今日個天真的很藍～上到二樓的galley café & dining，其實還是第一次來到這兒用餐呢，很興奮～ 看見餐廳外的小露台也有很多座位，感覺寫意悠閒，很受外國人歡迎，可惜我跟老公太怕曬，還是走進餐廳裡去。餐廳內裡環境非常優雅寛敞，透進的陽光柔和，令人倍感舒適～等了一會，兩層架的下午茶到了！這個Galley Valentine's Tea Set包括了八款甜點，全部均由阿根廷糕點大師Vicky Sar 精心設計，看像二人份量剛剛好，部份甜點沒有分兩份，可以你一啖、我一啖 XD上層有：Heart Shaped Scones with Berry Jam, Heart Shaped Brownies, Coconut and Raspberry Tart, Mozzarella

                    Afternoon tea不可缺少的鬆餅，沒有令我失望，很好吃呢～ 換了可愛的心心形狀，口感鬆軟不乾身，富有牛油香，可添一點雜苺果醬，令味覺更清怡～

                    前面搶眼紅色的mozzarella 芝士撻非常好吃，填滿滋味的芝士，撻底香脆充滿牛油香，配著微酸的香橙紅苺果醬，令人吃得開懷，不小心吃了整個，沒有留一口給老公 =p

                    朱古力慕絲混了阿根廷焦糖醬，當然甜度會較高，但沒有純朱古力慕絲那麼單調，mousse質感綿滑充實，味道有別於普通的chocolate mousse，頗為特別。

                    馬卡龍是我這甜魔最愛的甜品之一，其實早已急不及待偷吃了另一個tea set 的lemon macaroon，外薄脆內軟糯，沒有過甜，濃郁的檸檬味更令人不覺甜膩，還有中間的lemon cream也造得很好呢～

                    這裡有三顆truffles，看看情侶如何分吃吧，我認為最佳吃法就是每顆一人吃一半 =p 朱古力香濃幼滑，甜中帶點甘苦，味道誘人。

                     一個afternoon tea，少不了香濃熱茶或咖啡作伴，我比較喜歡喝Earl Grey消一消滯，這裡的伯爵茶相當香濃，茶香撲鼻～
                    Galley二人浪漫下午茶只是$298 (加一服務費)，整個二月都有提供這個甜蜜tea set！不用擔心情人節安排不到時間或訂不到枱了！在如此優雅浪漫的地方，邊喝茶、邊嚐甜點、邊談心，悠然輕鬆，此情此刻實在是無價！
