香港飲食業競爭激烈,只有少數餐廳能持續經營50年之久,想不到華人聚居的香港,竟然有一間印度菜做得到,就是尖沙咀的 Gaylord,雖然店舖曾經搬遷過,但依然是不變的味道。星期五的晚上例牌滿座,有圖有真相,客人包括中、外、印籍,受歡迎之原因,除了烹調有實力之外,價錢公道,豐儉由人,相信亦是成功之道。既來之,我們決定品嚐每位$448的二人套餐,品嚐1972年起的經典菜式,項目豐富,前菜至甜品共十二款。Happy Friday night,氣氛熱鬧,少不免先來兩杯酒。50周年特製的:Oldie Goldie $138三款酒的混合,最特色是用明火燃點玉桂,香氣撲鼻,嗅覺先來享受。Rose Royal $98非常適合女士的粉紅汽酒,味道甜美,容易入口,兩杯酒都放上金箔片,矜貴升級!免費小吃餐前開胃小吃:Pani Poori印度很普遍的迷你球型街頭小吃,頂端開了一個洞,吃法倒入薄荷雞尾酒,然後大口吃,味道清新,喚醒味蕾。前菜三款:Malabar Crab Taco如薄餅質感、軟身的 Taco 我更喜歡,蟹肉鮮嫩,份量豐富,調味出色,三款前菜中這個我最鍾意。Chicken Tikka 用乳酪醃製過的
