衰在羊群心理,試買所謂舊式餅店的蛋撻,排隊見人多早已準備隨時拍八達通付款,我同店員講要4件蛋撻,店員聽到後隨即呼喝「俾錢先啦!」,去買嘢食都受氣!試過都不外如是,味道仲衰過屋村餅店,貴又貴過人!到第二次,陪同事去買袋裝蛋糕仔,同事放在收銀向店員說「唔該」,收銀員一直沒出聲、又無手勢,只見八達通機顯示蛋糕仔價錢,同事見狀便拍八達通付款,收銀員全程無出聲,又木無表情、甚至目中無人,幫襯你連基本一句「多謝」都無,仲要睇你面色,真係無下次!去幫襯其他小店好過。

以為重開所以入左去買左三個麵包,食完中伏,因為朋友識得快樂餅店既師傅,於是問下,原來唔關佢地事,個包仲要賣到咁貴($15一個)都唔緊要,最重要係難食,本身對麵包要求不大,但都覺得難食,一個紫薯包裏面嘅紫薯蓉好多渣,本來諗住纖維高就照食,但係啲渣係粗到吞唔到唔係快樂餅店,有被欺騙既感覺,以後唔會幫襯!

Under this QQ ball food trend, what caught my attention was such a traditional old bakery tried creating the hot trend QQ ball. They served couple flavours but I decided to first try their original flavour.

Original flavour was a pineapple bun crust sesame flavour monchi bun. Crust was crumbly but still attached the dough nicely in every bite. Sesame was toasted which gave a nutty flavour rather than just hint of sweetness. There was a real monchi instead of only using glutenous flour inside the bun. Possibly this was their signature and why people are crazy for this. Personally believe this is unnecessary as not matching the nutty sesame flavour and a bit on the over-sticky side that a bit weird with the dough texture. The only flaw I would say was it collapsed after every bite. It couldn't hold its ball shape when biting.

Overall, not bad especially it was pretty big.

早前結業的灣仔傳奇老麵包店「快樂餅店」,原來已經在同一區重開,同樣是在皇后大道東上,但位置卻向金鐘方向移前了,並改名為「快樂麵包」。去開金鐘辦完事後,這次特別行去灣仔這間老店懷舊吓。當然要食經典的奶油筒,加多個紅豆沙翁同朱古力麻薯波波,三個包合共$30。三個麵包之中,最貴的奶油筒要$13,感覺好似細個咗,真係超級蚊型size,幸好個cream還是昔日的港式奶油老味道。紅豆沙翁內餡的紅豆夠大粒,唔會只是豆蓉那麼單調,口感較為豐富,加上個沙翁整體上唔算太甜,啱我個人口味。不過,是日MVP還是他們的新產品的朱古力麻薯波波,尤其我是遇上新鮮出爐的,更是好味。這個麻薯波波朱古力味好香,口感也不俗。買完東西再往前行, 看到「快樂餅店」的原鋪仍未出租,招牌仍在。至於他們的麵包袋,看到新鋪舊鋪的名字都有在用,應該是舊店用剩的吧,總算冇浪費。

紅豆沙翁內餡的紅豆夠大粒,唔會只是豆蓉那麼單調,口感較為豐富,加上個沙翁整體上唔算太甜,啱我個人口味。

買完東西再往前行, 看到「快樂餅店」的原鋪仍未出租,招牌仍在。至於他們的麵包袋,看到新鋪舊鋪的名字都有在用,應該是舊店用剩的吧,總算冇浪費。

之前舊舖「快樂餅店」結業時,大家都懷著萬般不捨的心情去面對,如今喜見新店在原址附近重開,這次就懷著萬分興奮的心情去光顧!新店光鮮很多,除了原有的傳統麵包:例如鎮店之寶忌廉筒之外,也添加了很多新的包種。現場所見,客人很多,但收銀極慢;小人買兩個包,排了超過十分鐘的隊付錢,效率奇低!先來一個充滿童年回憶兼邪惡至極的咖喱牛肉炸包 : 咖喱包新鮮即炸,內餡仍舊有鹹牛肉、咖哩醬等等,餡料份量十足,咖喱味道香濃,帶點輕微辣度。除了咖喱之外,薄層麵包同樣是咖喱牛肉炸包另一著眼點:即炸的麵包香炸後不會感到油膩,口感外脆內軟,甜甜的配合著咖喱的濃郁,每一口都感到滿足味美!繼續咖喱系列:咖哩角是也。咖哩角酥皮外層焗得金黃色、脆卜卜,香脆可口,光看外表就足以令人垂涎三尺。裏面包裹咖喱牛肉餡料,味道恰到好處,口感豐富,絕對一試上癮。相比舊舖的咖哩角,多了一份精緻,少了一份油香。雖然明顯地價錢是貴了,但性價比仍然相當高。

繼續咖喱系列:咖哩角是也。咖哩角酥皮外層焗得金黃色、脆卜卜,香脆可口,光看外表就足以令人垂涎三尺。裏面包裹咖喱牛肉餡料,味道恰到好處,口感豐富,絕對一試上癮。相比舊舖的咖哩角,多了一份精緻,少了一份油香。

午飯後途經 皇后大道東, 原來昔日「快樂餅店」已經重開了, 但當時店內人太多,所以等到放工再回來一探究竟放工時段人潮大減,除了昔日懷舊餅類以外還加入了不少 時尚包款:例如伯爵茶麻薯波波,芝麻麻薯波波,朱古力麻薯波波等等, 但放工時再看已經售罄但看見暖櫃內還有我有興趣試的「芋頭麻糬布丁蛋撻」$13又是大玩時興三大巨頭👉🏽香芋👉🏽麻薯👉🏽布丁還有這麼多,以為是出爐不久原來馬鞍山也有分店?但一拿上手只是微温, 應該出爐好一陣子,畢竟是放工時間,只是我想太多了曲奇皮蛋撻一咬即碎, 可以說是鬆化, 也可以說是太鬆散沒有牛油香, 只有其鹹味蛋漿部分很滑, 完全沒有蛋味不會覺得得甜, 因為其牛油皮鹹味太搶至於麻糬是屬於軟糯的口感, 但也有點兒煙韌味道也偏淡甜, 不會太突出咬多兩口, 開始覺得有點膩, 因為牛油皮有點油但還吃不到芋頭, 只見到它若隱若現在撻的末端終於吃到芋頭, 它是真的芋頭, 沒有加工成芋泥/芋蓉, 不甜, 夠粉不硬,原材料的味道。看來下次也可以一試麻薯波波系列, 因為她們家的麻薯波波中間也有麻糬,而她們家的麻糬也做得不錯👌🏾雖然$10一個也不太便宜🫣

曲奇皮蛋撻一咬即碎,
可以說是鬆化, 也可以說是太鬆散
沒有牛油香, 只有其鹹味
蛋漿部分很滑, 完全沒有蛋味
不會覺得得甜, 因為其牛油皮鹹味太搶

至於麻糬是屬於軟糯的口感, 但也有點兒煙韌
味道也偏淡甜, 不會太突出

Had high expectations towards the Cream Cone,  it was a let-down unfortunately 😢. ✨Cream Cone: One of the cream cones did not have cream all the way. The pastry fell apart easily. The cream was smooth but was a bit too heavy after several bites. It also had a weird salty flavour. Size of the cream cones were smaller than before. Was looking forward to try out the famous Cream Cones. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The Cream Cones are overrated in my opinion.

正好在附近,於是就專門去買幾個試一下,麻薯波波,有點硬,但是算是買的四種裡面最好吃的了。布丁撻,不如之前買的北角的一家,太濕潤了。.蛋黃酥不是紅豆餡,竟然是蓮蓉,太甜膩了不喜歡。.紫薯燒餅味道還算過得去,比較糯,也不是很甜
