這天又來九龍城尋食, 不知怎的這地方總有攝人的魅力, 每當想不到有什麼好食時, 就算是身在第二區, 都會搭車前來九龍城找尋特式美食~記得對上一次來high five 己有數月, 餐廳給我的感覺很好, 除了很愛它簡約但具個性的裝修外,食物質素同樣高, 價錢不算貴, 簡簡單單和朋友消磨一個晚上己是很好的享受~不過這次前來, 餐廳好像是易了手(?) 又或集團轉了方針, 無論裝修擺設和餐派上的食物似乎都不再一樣, 不過不緊要吧, 正好也來試試新chef的手藝, 服務員告訴我, chef 精通西式的fine dine 菜式, 所以我們都很期待呢~裝飾佈置等已改為走向文青路線xd, 昔日可愛的貓貓大畫都不見了, 看來又是另一番風味~順帶一提, 餐廳後面原有另一片天, 外面露天地方更大, 適合一天班朋友來開party呢~, 不過缺點是沒有冷氣, 感覺有點悶熱~menu都改了,昔日比較走cafe 路線, 現在主供fine dining, 感覺菜式選擇上多了很多很多, 高級的扒類鵝肝都是主打項目, 不過小吃, 意粉, 花茶咖啡都可在此中尋~個人覺得4人套餐較為抵吃, 有前菜,主菜,甜品, 飲品等等, 所

記得對上一次來high five 己有數月, 餐廳給我的感覺很好, 除了很愛它簡約但具個性的裝修外,

裝飾佈置等已改為走向文青路線xd, 昔日可愛的貓貓大畫都不見了, 看來又是另一番風味~

順帶一提, 餐廳後面原有另一片天, 外面露天地方更大, 適合一天班朋友來開party呢~, 不過缺點是沒有冷氣, 感覺有點悶熱~

menu都改了,昔日比較走cafe 路線, 現在主供fine dining, 感覺菜式選擇上多了很多很多, 高級的扒類鵝肝都是主打項目, 不過小吃, 意粉, 花茶咖啡都可在此中尋~

厚身肥大的三文魚絕對是絕佳的開胃頭盤, 因為其實來到九龍城己很餓了, 大大件的三文魚配上開胃的香橙果涷, 又清涼又能開好胃口, 不錯!

來到主菜- 燒美國天然曲飼極黑安格斯西冷伴牛肉汁

7成熟的西冷扒口感一流, 厚薄適中的闗係, 入口很鮮嫩, 而且充滿惹味到極的燒汁! 吃過全片都不會油膩, 再配以旁邊新鮮脆嫩又可愛的Little carrot 和mashed potato, 感覺更加融和合意~

賣相不錯, 羊架送上來沒有飄出"酥"味, 不嗜羊的朋友都可以一試~

味道方面一樣沒叫我失望~ 羊架烤得剛剛好, 是剛剛熟但肉質很嫩滑那種, 一口切下去, 有滿滿的肉汁滲出, 所以質感是豐軟的~ 完全沒有難受的羊酥味, 感覺滋味!

飯後點杯咖啡是常識吧!與朋友一人杯latte, 這裡的套餐餐飲可選特式咖啡的, 又不需另加錢, 不錯!!!

看, 二款不同的拉花, 全都好可愛! 咖啡味濃亦充滿着淡淡的奶泡香, 喝下去又滑又順喉, 而且甜度剛好, 不需另加糖就己是完美之選, 很relaxing呢!

甜品又好快喎,一上就幾枱客一齊上哂。明顯俾我嗰份細過其他人的一半,友人想幫我同店員講,我都無哂心機由佢喇,淨係想食完快啲走... 就係朱古力蛋糕啦,唔太濕唔太乾,OK啦。{不過唔止我哋,我見枱枱都食到成枱周圍係蛋糕碎,近年興用呢啲碟... 盤... 定係板,會食到幾論盡。}

13:55 已經放棄再追,請店員直接將我個扁意粉轉做外賣 


13:58 聽到廚房整好叮咗鐘,店員拎住盒外賣意粉埋嚟,施施然話俾個紙袋我哋拎,但就要等另外一位店員喺收銀機下面個櫃度搵紙袋。我哋仲唔拿拿臨俾埋錢想搞掂就走(仲要截的士趕返公司,lunch time到2點咋已經遲哂到),點知阿店員又搵極都搵唔到餐具 
 算算算,14:00 終於可以離開,我堅覺得我哋無發佢哋火係好仁慈......

趕到返 office 無理由喺位食嘢咁大陣味咁無公德心o架,唯有自己"喱"喺 pantry 立食我個 main dish - 蕃茄醬雞肉扁意粉(外賣):

由到手再飛的返嚟未夠10分幾鐘,個意粉仲係暖嘅。酸味夠,意粉唔太淋,可惜雞肉有啲「鞋」


Other Info. : 未試過 lunch time 坐足一個鐘 (1300入座1400走) 都未食到個午餐,返嚟忍唔住要寫我第一篇食評⋯ 睇見佢其他食評都係強調「慢活」「悠閒」,而且多數係週末或假期的評論。 個人認為 HighFive 的食物飲品都很精緻,味道不錯,但明知道做唔切就唔好開閒日午市,淨係做假日生意由得佢幾慢都得,一係就唔好放咁多客入去坐,淨係開兩三枱做午市好了。 :(

那天和男人到九龍城買東西,突然很想喝熱朱古力,想起了High Five。隔了一陣子沒來,擺設有少許不同,但一樣舒適。晚市套餐轉了新餐廳,看到有合口味的,便懶得再想,直接點套餐。三文魚香橙果凍有趣的冷盤,賣相好看,煙三文魚質素不錯,香橙果凍很清新醒胃,美中不足是稍帶澀味。餐湯我們轉了蘑菇湯,很濃郁的蘑菇味,口感creamy ,不錯。我要了香煎太平洋海鱸魚伴車厘茄醬,來到時我和男人有點驚訝份量這樣的少,魚皮微脆,魚肉也算嫩滑。但魚的外層煎得不夠乾身,未切已經大量水分滲出。不過伴碟的薯泥超級好味,加上車厘茄醬甜中帶微酸,清新開胃,挽回不少分數。男人要了燒美國天然極黑安格斯西冷伴牛肉汁,這個份量算正常。點了五成熟,切開尚算合格,肉質鮮嫩,肉汁豐富,牛味也很純。甜品時間,我們點了Panna Cotta 和 Tiramisu 各一份,這裡的甜品都是即日或即時鮮製的,新鮮也更健康。Panna Cotta 加了新鮮紅桑子醬,香濃的奶味配酸中帶微甜,2者味道完全不一樣但卻很夾,而且奶凍很滑很creamy,很讚。而Tiramisu 賣相和平常見到的不同,但味道很好,咖啡味和甜味恰到好處,口感軟滑。餐飲方面

另一款是羽衣甘藍沙律配溫泉蛋,我沒有吃過羽衣甘藍,只知道它的纖維成分非常高,能夠除身體內有害物質,而羽衣甘藍的口感很特別,菜葉是一層層密密麻麻,配合松子一同放入口,口感會更爽脆,吃時把溫泉蛋刺穿,讓蛋漿流出,會令沙律味道更甘香。

洋甘菊帶有香噴噴的菊花香味,但入口時味道相對較淡,不過,個人認為有點貴,畢竟要HK$32,沒有跟上茶壼或茶包,只是單單的一杯,感覺實在有點不值。

總括來說,易手後餐廳的水準有明顯提升,加上價錢合理,可以再來幫襯。

到選餐飲時,一般意為只能配啡或茶,餐牌內特別的款式不知某某種類就要加若干價錢,但HighFive這裡卻可讓客人任選的餐牌內的各式飲品,這種罕有性實在令人興奮。於是我選了「冰搖黑咖啡」,以冰滴咖啡手搖打出泡沬,咖啡中的微辛性加冰涼感,似有點在喝smooth的感覺,而咖啡的泡沫甘中帶果味,有助幫我消化這晚的豐厚的菜餚。

肥柑子太太的「抹茶鮮奶」,抹茶味比一般美式咖啡店的茶甘味更出,沒有過火的濃度,亦沒有過多的甜度,以茶本來的回甘微苦,再以鮮奶淡而薄甜,將整杯飲品在色香味都發揮到極好。這裡食品出色,飲料亦絕非閒角,相信日間來這店喝一杯亦是個好選擇。

總結這間店的出品是高質而價錢超值。在九龍城是出名食肆區,在平日晚亦易於泊車。另一值得介紹給朋友下次來聚會的賣點,是它設有一個雅緻乾淨的戶外區域,備有冷風機,適合約會定時要吸兩口的朋友來。回想早前在九龍某工廈區樓上餐廳以超過400元一位的價錢也遠不及這店的質素,下次再約朋友來九龍城實在有太多方面值得朋友俾like。

先講burger,看見那中間那層漢堡肉的厚度嗎?超誇張吧!先不說比那半個蕃茄更厚,面積更是覆蓋了整塊麵包的份量呢!burger肉質鬆軟多汁,有別於其他店,一點也沒有鞋口的質感!令我食得更起勁,配上那經過烤焗的麵包,香脆和鬆軟竟可同時擁有,簡直停不到口!

原來我食緊呢塊牛有別同一般餐廳來貨,平常餐廳再靚的牛其實都是雪藏過,所以有機會影響肉汁和帶雪味。但呢塊是“chill“,即是將肉保持在冷凍但不低於零度,既可保鮮又可保全肉在最原汁原味的狀態,縱使成本較高也堅持使用高級貨,可見餐廳對客人的用心。

所以,我吃到7成的angus仍然留有鮮嫩多汁的口感,連原本是和牛的die hard粉的男友也稱讚不絕呢!

雖然九龍城是以泰國菜出名,但有時候也要作多方面嘗試,可能有意外驚喜。點了一個set dinner 及炸魚薯條。西柚沙律西柚肉多汁微甜,相當開胃,至於主角沙律菜不夠新鮮。黑松露野菌湯質地較稀身,沒有野菌蓉之下顯得味淡。啤酒脆漿炸魚薯條 $128熱騰騰上檯,薯條是炸粉不是真薯條,毫不吸引。而炸魚皮算脆,不過我覺得較硬有點熱氣,幸好內裡魚肉嫩滑。燒西班牙黑豚豬柳伴甜酸醬 $238廚師煮以7成熟上檯。黑豚肉是半瘦肥,不過對我來說較多脂肪。雖是7成熟,但有部分肉質會較韌有渣。Matcha latte 不得不讚拉花超美,很有心思,熊仔圖案很可笑,然而味道不算甜,不過似抹茶粉開出的味道,不過不失。Cappuccino 拉花也是完整順暢,因為已加糖,味道有點甜。Tiramisu手指餅插在忌廉芝士裡,內裡咖啡及酒味過重,所以會覺得很苦澀。

淨聽個名時覺得有點不可思議~
我本身唔LIKE食南瓜,仲整到咁古怪,都有D驚驚地~

三文魚係煙的,普通啦~
下面個果凍加入左香橙同橙皮,好似FUSION菜~

但如果將佢同三文魚一齊食,唔單止去左三文魚的魚腥味,又變得甜番~

最近去了九龍城,撞不見發哥卻見到開了不同類型的餐廳,見這間裝橫不錯就進去試試看。意大利煙豬腿焗薯皮非常香口,芝士份量非常多特級牛肉漢堡配著角牛肉味很重,裡面的芝士較少,感覺較乾。白毛豬火腿意粉味道尚算不錯,多一點汁會更好。特濃咖啡吃完當然要來一杯,咖啡味十分濃郁,好喝。整體價錢較貴,多一點份量會更佳。

They had dinner sets so we decided on the two people dinner set ($498). Apparently, sets menus are in Chinese but they include an appetizer,two mains, two desserts and coffee or tea.  A la carte is available. That menu is in both English and Chinese. They only take cash.

Oven Baked Potato Skins with Pancetta. The appetizer was potato skins with cheese and pancetta. This was ok but I prefer by potato skins a bit more crispier. It was cheesey enough with a nice sprinkle of pancetta. It was served with some sour cream and a side of salad. The salad was alright with a light dressing.

18 Month Serrano Ham Linguine. One of our mains was a pasta dish. The pasta was al dente and I did like the sauce used as it was quite fragrant with a bit of heat to give it a kick. However, I didn't really like the ham used as it was tough like jerky and way too salty. Perhaps it wouldn't have been so noticable if they perhaps sliced it up and made them more bitesize? I don't know but this huge slab of meat made it very unlikable.

Supreme Beef Burger with Crispy Potato Wedges. The other main was a burger. The potato wedges were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. However, they served them with mayo. What is with this strange trend lately of serving fries with anything other than ketchup? I think this is the second time I've encountered this non-ketchup with fries movement. Strange dipping sauce aside, the burger was ok. The patty was huge and cooked to a perfect medium rare. It was topped with melted cheese and some lettuce. There didn't appear to be any other sauce added. For that I think it was missing that element as a burger needs a secret sauce to make it different than the rest. The bun was toasted but toasted way too long so it was just plain crunchy.

Cheesecake. Dessert was dessert of the day. We had two choices so we chose both of them. The first was a cheesecake. This was quite good. Rich and decadent with a crumbly graham crust. It was actually a rather large piece so was very filling afterwards.

Lemon Tart. The other choice was lemon tart and I'm a sucker for lemon tart. I love lemon tart. Though this was not a perfect lemon tart, it was quite nice that this was served as most places usually offer some sort of popular chocolate choice. The tart pastry was not perfect as the lemon custard seemed to have shrunk a bit away so there was  small gap between pastry and custard. However, the lemon custard was a nice balance of sour and sweet.

An ok cafe with quite decent dessert and would definitely return for the dessert again. Perhaps try the coffee next time if I'm in the area and want a place to just relax.
