五月十八日 (星期三)離開中環的日子不多了珍惜與老公仔和朋友一起LUNCH的日子今日相約了兩位大學同學吃LUNCH我和卡文小姐先去搵位真多人呢,1230到都要等位照舊點了常餐炒蛋有點流汁,這正是北海道的招牌炒蛋蛋白多士鬆軟無比今次轉了奶油窩夫,有點硬,應該放了好一陣子义燒通粉也做得出色,濃味的湯底最後配上我至愛的阿華田恐龍,一個不太貴又滿足的午餐

今次終於有恆心等到位~~我地如常地叫左北海道套餐火腿炒蛋配多士 火腿細塊左好多,不過炒蛋真係好好味,好滑又大份~~多士又夠厚,烘得又夠香~~牛油岩岩好,配係剛剛烘出黎既多士半融狀態一讚!!叉燒湯通粉 湯底好rich 又creamy,叉燒大片又林身~~通粉夠彈牙~~ 繼續成為我既至愛~~奶茶 茶底濃配以香滑牛奶沖製,唔洗落糖都唔會太苦雖然小小茶餐mode,不過兩個都好好味,大滿足!!~ 絕對唔誇張喔要排好耐隊等食佢都抵~~

之前來過這餐廳享用它的茶餐,而今次就試試它的小樽叉燒蛋飯,看看如何。收到這碟飯之後,覺得它好像細了一點。而味道呢?首先是叉燒,覺得它是肥了一點及少少咸咗啲。蛋是不錯的,有濃濃的蛋黃很好味。其實自己未去過北海道,更不會知道小樽有沒有叉燒飯,如果有的又是否這樣子。不過它的珍珠米及日式醬油也真能夠給人一種日本風之感。

Funny how man suddenly crave for a specific sort of food when in despair. Funny how man suddenly crave for a specific sort of food when in despair. The impulse for food comes like a flood and swamps your body, moving your legs to walk in the direction for that restaurant.

That 'food' need not be particularly expensive nor fancily made - in my case, the image which pops up first in my head when i feel like sh*t are usually the simple yet hearty and comforting ones like sandwiches, and stuff. Despite my love for luxury dishes like lobsters and steak, i feel equally satisfied eating local chaa-chan teng foods.

Hokkaido Dairy Restaurant is a place I usually head to when i feel down, the reason being still unknown - is it because of the comforting portion of serving, the taste of the Hokkaido milk, or the general atmosphere of the store(s)? Uncertain it remain. But one thing im pretty sure with is that it definitely serves one of the best - and the most comforting - sandwiches in Hong Kong.

This may not be the best in town but it is most easily accessible, having 3 stores across HK island. That accounts for my presence at the store in this late evening - I just happened to stop by after wandering around my place for like, 15 minutes.

The place was somehow empty when I arrived. Settled on a seat adjacent to the window, I basically could order without having to look at the menu. I came here with a desire to eat something with my claws, and thus sandwiches would be what i have. The only thing that mattered was that whether i was going to order the plain egg sandwich or the more scrumptious, yet more weighty bumper's sandwich, which i heard carries not only eggs but also meat like the Cha Siu and Spam. Doubted, i asked a staff for the answer and she, after glancing me from top to toe, estimating my capacity at eating, banned me as she thought i could only manage half of the monster. Fine - bring me the scrambled egg sandwich, toasted with an extra of $2. A drink was included with the set and i ordered a hot ginger and honey drink (another extra $5 incurred).

The wait was brief before my drink came. Dark, opaque with swirling steam, the thing did not look appealing to drink. A sip of it tasted warm and sweet - still a nice drink in the hot summer. The staff should have paid more attention to the tidiness of the utilities however, as i find way too many annoying waterdrops on my cup plate.

Then came the sandwich with bouncing bread - untoasted. I asked for a return and soon after 3 minutes the monster revisited, this time with a tougher shield. My extra $2 was worth the pay as the bread were perfectly toasted, despite a little whiter than what i would usually prefer. It was crunchy on the outside and chewy in the inside, and it had a sweetness of the egg white in it - yum. It wold taste equally great if eaten alone, naked without the butter and stuff.

The scrambled egg was not as great however as it was slightly overcooked. Folded and wrapped instead of freely scrambled, there were little juice and moist although it tasted okay - a few shakes of pepper would further enhance the flavour however. It tasted best eaten pipping hot.

Quickly finishing my meal, the place got louder and louder as more OLs rushed in for dinner. Surprised at the popularity of the place for dinner, and not wanting to occupying the table for too long, i paid and left both physically and spiritually satisfied.

A soul food it is to me, something that will keep pulling me back...

與男朋友到中環尋找平靚正餐廳,因為連日來吃了日本菜,想吃茶餐廳食品!於是Openrice一下:男朋友曾在Lunchtime到這餐廳,推介叉燒飯和奶茶!我看見餐牌,便要Order 3吋厚蛋三文治,真係好厚呀!我食左半份已經飽,加埋熱奶茶!好味!雖然很想繼續品嘗,但實在太飽了!他Order了叉燒飯,有太陽蛋伴飯,也很吸引!我也試了一塊叉燒,很有Homemade感覺!很喜歡!由於今日假期,不用等位,否則會爆滿!下次要試其他餐,早餐的北海道牛奶麥皮看似吸引,下次要早點到!值得一試再試!雖然選擇不多,但已足夠!

星期六起牀晏了,就行到中環新食廈 The Loop 8th 樓食 brunch.剛 12:00 pm, 已坐了 8 成滿,但比起銅鑼灣店個種逼法, 這裏實在舒服得多了館子長長窄窄,進門左邊是整排的落地大窗,右邊是收銀、washrooms,走到尾是厨房,地方光亮整潔。我們分別 order 了:$ 36 北海道套餐义燒湯意, 义燒夠鬆,帶很少肥,好味。意粉亦夠彈牙, 湯底則較稀, 但整体配得好味。火腿、煎双旦 (我喜歡熟反旦)及多士 - 旦煎得香, 夠旦味,兩隻是超出本週 quota 了,但偶而為之, 放縱一下就算吧!火腿普通, 多士夠厚身, 不錯。同行的餐肉芝士多士 ($21 + 2 烘底) 我冇試過,但睇落都吸引,同行亦話正, 不過就好飽.另一同行的咖吔麦芽糖 french toast 餐($31) 好巨形,炸得金黃,但尚不算好油膩,配上咖吔好正, 另跟的大片牛油及糖醬就太勁,免了!此店對中環一族十分方便,食物質素有保証, 价錢亦 ok,肯定會 encore.

Hokkaido Diary Farm Milk Restaurant is a successful imitation of the famous “Australian Dairy Company.” Their menus are essentially identical, but Hokkaido provides a cleaner environment, more convenient location (note this review applies to the central branch only) and better services. My crew arrived early at 12 to avoid the queue and was seated promptly. To our surprise, we were not pressured to leave whatsoever (quite the opposite at Australian dairy), although the benches and rowdy crowd are not trying to make you stay long by any means. My scrambled eggs were done perfectly– runny, VERY buttery, and full of egg flavors. However, my colleague’s egg sandwich looked very overcooked.


Nostalgic feelings aside, I still prefer the food of Australian Dairy’s. Their eggs are way more consistent and more importantly, I don't feel sick / guilty after consuming them. Last week, I lunched at Hokkaido and was full until 9pm! Very unusual for me and there's only one simple explanation – too much butter and even more hidden calories than I thought!

我發覺有一位高大男店員,樣子不差!可惜,佢說不出話兒;
雖然佢不能說話,但是有氣有力可搬貨,正所謂:「天生我才必有用!」餐廳老闆亦相當有愛心!聘用有缺陷店員,值得一讚!

見到一位女店員頗忙碌,落單、收銀、送上食物... 完全一腳踢!服務態度尚可!

食客多數係女士,可能係以牛奶為食材有關?!較為健康!而且環境寧靜,悠然自得!就算跟三五知己嚟嘆個下午茶,不失為一個好選擇!

招牌食品主打北海道 3.6 牛奶,例如:北海道 3.6 牛奶、北海道 3.6 牛奶混入炒蛋、北海道 3.6 牛奶布甸.....等。


起初我見到 Menu ,想叫 3 吋炒蛋三文治;但見到店員收走部分餐具時,不少食客食剩方包,相信 3 吋炒蛋相當飽溜,令食客吃不消。
有見及此,我另作他選!

最終:揀咗麥芽糖西多士餐 ( 配花生醬 ) $35
等了大約 5 分鐘,店員送上西多士。西多士炸得金黃,外脆內軟;配上粗粒花生醬,甚有口感!每一啖都食到粗粒花生!真係正!此外,搽了牛油,散發牛油香,零舍醒胃!淋上麥芽糖,增添滋味!況且麥芽糖相對糖漿健康一點,甜味依然!果然不錯!略嫌花生醬與麥芽糖這個配搭, 甜到有點溜!

單看價錢 $19 一杯牛奶,不太值得!
但睇番超級市場售價 $12 ~ $14 / 盒,相比之下,價錢尚算合理!我特意叫熱飲,一來對腸胃健康,二來牛奶加熱後,散發奶香,還有一塊薄膜;
缺點係失去應有營養。北海道 3.6 牛奶濃度高,奶味香濃!比較香港出名嘅維記牛奶,少一份微甜!用來中和西多士嘅甜味,來得剛好!

住在沙田, 很少出港島, 今天算是 '中環美食之旅', 這裡是尾站, 已吃得飽飽. 幸環境舒適, 而中環沒平時人多, 益發悠閒假期感覺. 聽說是中環澳牛, 怎可不試?三人只吃一個餐:奶茶不俗, 有點茶味, 奶算香滑, 好.多士平平, 遜於澳牛, 不過沒甚麼餐廳能好過澳牛了.炒蛋中上, 不鞋, 有蛋汁, 亦有蛋味, 但仍較澳牛差, 但屬非戰之罪.火腿有煎, 難得!最有驚喜是通粉, 叉燒淋, 湯底甚佳, 很飽亦喝個精光.整體是很高水準, 若住在港島, 無須專程去佐敦.會再來, 下次是首站了.

皆因遲了些出外午膳,反而終於可以試到這間牧場餐廳。未到之前同事已說與某某牛奶公司的食物差不多。入內之後真的發覺不像它名字般有趣,沒有牧場的裝飾,只有簡潔的枱椅。絶對是中環餐廳其中一種應有的格局。叫了一個相信是最典型的套餐。先來的是熱奶茶,其餐牌的形容是北海道奶茶。喝下去其實跟平常的奶茶沒有太大分別,並沒有想像的濃濃奶味。然後便到叉燒湯意。外型尚算可以。吃下去的叉燒及意粉口感都不錯。唯一自己不慣的是疑似即食麵的湯底,與意粉夾在一起不太理想。最後便是自己最喜歡的多士火煺蛋了。厚厚的多士,烘得脆脆的,佈滿美味的牛油,真是回味。火煺雖然是薄薄的,但煎得不會濃,咸咸的,很是惹味。然而雞蛋便失色了一點。吃下去有一點不夠滑,像是煮得久了少許的感覺。小記:吃完這餐,自己在本星期已吃了三隻蛋了。真的要節省些才行。

基本上佢個menu有90%係抄佐敦的澳洲牛奶公司...只係所有野都加上「日本」/「北海道」賣既都係餐旦、腸仔面之類同事話個窩夫好正,咁我就話咁不如其中一個餐個多士轉窩夫,加6蚊。十分鐘左右野食到喇..都幾失望.. 炒旦 一d都冇滑既感覺 得個厚字 同平時自己炒既冇咩分別 唔覺得佢有加牛奶去炒!! 大家樂早餐既炒滑旦仲好味 多士 同 窩夫 都係完全唔熱既,等位堂食既原因係唔想外賣番公司,d多士凍同林晒,結果係一樣! 窩夫可揀奶油/奶醬,如果個窩夫係熱的話應該會幾好味... 叉燒意粉正常茶餐廳水準 凍華田將d華田粉鋪多一浸向凍華田之上,滿心以為好正啦.... 本身杯野勁淡,沖得好難飲...我寧願唔要上面d粉,,,唔該幫我沖番濃d....埋單41蚊,覺得好唔抵去翠華食常餐好過!!!d侍應冷漠無禮手腳又慢,咁我寧願佢好似澳洲牛奶公司咁,雖然d伙記都係衰衰咁架喇,但起碼人地有效率又好味先!!

將d華田粉鋪多一浸向凍華田之上,滿心以為好正啦.... 本身杯野勁淡,沖得好難飲...我寧願唔要上面d粉,,,唔該幫我沖番濃d....

去翠華食常餐好過!!!
d侍應冷漠無禮手腳又慢,
咁我寧願佢好似澳洲牛奶公司咁,
雖然d伙記都係衰衰咁架喇,
但起碼人地有效率又好味先!!

睇雜誌介紹,又未試過。三吋厚果然吸引,麵包鬆軟,蛋味十足,蛋煎得唔油,好好食。服務都唔錯,有禮貌亦幾好笑容,想一個人靜靜進食又得,三五知己又得。環境優美,太陽隔住窗照住食,十分滿足一個$31lunch!

二月二十三日 (星期三)是晚遲放工,老公仔和我在中環解決晚餐來到也有不少食客,相信是和我們同一命運的點了最傳統的套餐今次的阿華田恐龍比我上次吃的好多了粉足,令我吃得津津有味濃湯底的义燒通水準依舊炒蛋老公仔要求全熟炒,而我則要半熟的蛋味濃郁,每一口都是享受每樣要求都做到了,很細心的服務算是為我們的辛勞打打氣!!!

呢日超眼訓想就近搵野食睇睇下就睇中佢啦;DD野食好快逐樣逐樣黎個蛋真係好香好好味.好滑又有牛油味我好鍾意;D雖然唔太鍾意飲奶茶.不過即管試下呢度個奶茶.我覺都唔差WOR都幾滑!一個SET有埋野飲.有個湯意粉.有埋個多士.最重要係個炒蛋我最鍾意就係D野唔大份.又多食.又好味WAHAHHAA平靚正.環境以白色為主好舒服.即閩減輕左D壓力hahahhaaha great ;)
