Nice wine, amazing steaks and a generally relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the prime rib dinner special, which came with a soup, the entrée with vegetables and Yorkshiire pudding, dessert (crème caramel) and coffee or tea. Everything was delicious. It was the second time I had dinner here.The waiters were attentive and friendly. It would be a great place for a romantic evening meal.

星期日, 老公突然間話想食牛扒, 就上openrice看看有什麼好選擇. 最後選了JIMMY'S KITCHEN. 去到尖沙咀, 當然要行一陣街先啦. 行到大約7:00 PM, 就去JIMMY'S KITCHEN開餐. 入到餐廳已經覺得有一點熱, 老公及我心想, 可能是間隔問題, 因JIMMY'S KITCHEN前方是BAR 的部分, 後面是RESTAURANT的部分. 以為入到裡面就沒有問題, 最後入到裡面才知道他們剛換了新冷氣, 摩打未行得好, 所以不夠冷氣. 不過都已經到咗, 就算數啦. 我們點了洋蔥湯, 龍蝦湯, baked knuckle及spring chicken. 另外, spring chicken 非常嫩滑, 我不太吃雞胸肉, 也覺得它好味, 不會太鞋.
吃完以上之食物後, 我們兩人已經謝咗. Waiter已經不定時向我們說對不起. 其實都不應該怪他. 但我們已經等不及叫飲料及甜點, 就結帳走人.


奉勸, 各位人士要去的話, 就要問清楚冷氣是否已經回復正常.

CHICKEN A LA KING即白汁雞皇飯, 白汁的味係好好食呢, 價錢雖然幾貴, 但一般大家樂般的快餐係完全無得比的

四年才一度的世界盃,怎樣也要參與,雖說屋企都有得睇,不過一些大戰,始終是跟三五知已出去睇先有氣氛。一間保留英式傳統的酒吧餐廳,外邊是酒吧,裡頭就是用餐區。主要目的是來睇波,自然坐外邊了。其實地方也不少的,既有吧檯,又有卡座,任君選擇。在大戰的晚上,預早訂位是必然事了。反正有兩個鐘,大把時間,先叫一客炸芝士,飲杯啤酒,再慢慢揀選心水食物。對啤酒認識等於零的我,隨便點了枝Hoegaarden,總之夠冰凍順喉就可以,Happy Hour $30/枝,抵飲的。熱辣辣的炸芝士隨即送上,外層香脆,灑上我喜歡的芝麻,咬落是半流心的羊奶芝士,味道相當濃郁,是非常不錯的佐酒小食。主食由朋友話事,頭一味是海鮮拼盤。據服務生說,生蠔是澳洲產地,海水味甚重的;蟹肉屬鮮甜,可惜的是千島汁下得太兇,有少許喧賓奪主的感覺,反而墊底的牛油果更討我歡心;香草三文魚,煙得不錯,香草味道恰當;大蝦則相對失色,不夠鮮爽。雞絲濶麵,醬汁是有如俄國牛柳絲飯的那個樣子,配合幼嫩的雞絲,幾開胃的;濶麵做得爽口彈牙,是意想不到的好。炸魚薯條這傳統的英式食品,一向是我的心頭好。可惜這個炸得不夠香脆,稔稔的,魚塊亦不算太厚身,幸而魚肉味道

炸魚薯條這傳統的英式食品,一向是我的心頭好。可惜這個炸得不夠香脆,稔稔的,魚塊亦不算太厚身,幸而魚肉味道尚可,配上Mayo或青豆茸,亦是可以。薯條只是幼身的,反而炸得香口,都收貨吧!

甜品環節,率先有麵包布甸。新鮮焗出來,脹卜卜的,而且又夠厚身,寧舍香口。吃起來濕潤,富蛋香,拌以吉士汁,人間美味。

還有的是朱古力香橙Brownie,蛋糕本身又是濕潤,不過就嫌香橙的味道太重,蓋過了朱古力味。而旁邊的慕思則幼滑,橙肉甜美,亦有香脆的杏仁片,雖及不上麵包布甸般出色,卻都唔差的。

最後的甜品的Pear & Blueberry Crumble,感覺是未夠香口,裡頭有點Blueberry,卻幫助不大,還好的是上面有一球雪糕,起碼做了冷暖交融的效果。不過,這是三款之中最不吸引的。

飲飽食醉,波又睇完,滿足至極,又係時候回家了。

首先叫左三個 soup 三個 Main Course 仲有要蒜蓉包

點完菜立刻上了麵包
有三種麵包供我們選擇
有 Tomato Bread , Toast , 還有一種 不知道是甚麼包 但全都很好吃
只是不夠熱而已

講一講三個湯
三個湯都做得十分出色
分別叫了龍蝦湯 , 牛尾湯 及 洋蔥湯
龍蝦湯 : 真的十分好喝 !! 味道十分濃郁 很重的龍蝦味 !

洋蔥湯 : 十分濃郁的洋蔥味. 有芝士在頂真的是整個湯的靈魂. 而且十分夠熱 !
牛尾湯 : 這個湯給我的感覺很健康. 皆因湯內有不少的穀類一同熬製 但味道遜於龍蝦湯

鱸魚 : 剪得很香 配搭醬汁簡直是完美

豬手 : 豬皮 烤得又香又脆 配上少量芥辣是人間美食啊 !!

咖喱 : 首先是製過的羊肉 加上咖喱是十分好吃. 另外還有一盒類似印度薄餅 配搭著不同配料 eg 提子乾、花生、椰絲、果醬、辣椒醬等等 但不及鱸魚和豬手惹味

整餐只吃到蒜蓉包已令我肚子漲了起來
但這餐廳的食物實在太好吃
貴得來卻有水準
一定會回來吃 !

岩岩開左個account 係openrice, 當然要發表一下我既第一篇食評...其實已經係上2個月既事,不過因為係生日飯,所以都好值得記錄!菜名我都唔記得,不過最有印象既係salty豬手,係main dish 之中最好味有個上左年紀既伯伯serve我地,佢好nice好pro,好奇怪間餐廳既waiter都有番咁上下年紀,感覺上有d似太平館。氣氛唔錯,好似好多biz dinner,不過只係友人說話太大聲 haha... 不過,其他main dish 味道okay 啦.. 數到最surprise既當然係個birthday cake (voka???) ,會著火! 而且好好好味!lemon tart 太酸了! overall 不錯,不過亦不平宜啊!

回想起已有多年沒有幫襯Jimmy’s Kitchen, 難怪連搬了地舖也不知曉. 難得有人想食 steak, 腦海中突然想起此店.地舖較舊舖旺場, 可能與做埋 bar 有關. 我一向對 steak 沒有喜好, 加上看到 menu 的 set dinner (steak) 不是七百多就是五百多, 超過自己的 budget, 唯有放棄食 steak, 改為吃 seafood fettuccine. 幸好有人散叫 steak, 試食完後認為水準依舊, 都是咁好吃. 不過, 自己對 steak 沒有研究, 不懂分牛的等級, 純粹憑直覺來決定好吃與否. Seafood fettuccine 份量不大 (如圖), 寬條麵軟硬度恰恰好, 海鮮如大蝦、帶子、三文魚等又多又好味, 配上茄汁不會太滯. 當日差不多滿座, 可能接近聖誕節, 好彩有訂位, 相信walk-in 就一枱難求了. 總之, 食物質素維持一定水平, 但價錢較以前貴, 尤其是 set dinner.p.s. 聖誕期間再度光顧, 今次是食 set lunch. 跟友人一樣, 點了粟米忌廉湯+Linguini Clam Pasta ($128

Seafood fettuccine 份量不大 (如圖), 寬條麵軟硬度恰恰好, 海鮮如大蝦、帶子、三文魚等又多又好味, 配上茄汁不會太滯.
當日差不多滿座, 可能接近聖誕節, 好彩有訂位, 相信walk-in 就一枱難求了. 總之, 食物質素維持一定水平, 但價錢較以前貴, 尤其是 set dinner.

p.s. 聖誕期間再度光顧, 今次是食 set lunch. 跟友人一樣, 點了粟米忌廉湯+Linguini Clam Pasta ($128). 選擇湯而不選 salad 時曾經掙扎過, 害怕餐湯是罐頭湯. 最終決定要湯是因為上次晚餐的 soup of the day 給了我信心.
事後證明沒錯, 粟米忌廉湯很 creamy, 淡黃色的湯加上粟米蓉, 味道十分好. Linguini 份量不多, 但蜆肉新鮮, 每啖差不多也有蜆肉, 證明不是意粉多過料. 另外, tomato sauce 配 clam十分夾, 可能個人一向喜歡 tomato sauce 多於白汁.
可惜, set lunch 不包餐飲, 可算是美中不足.


最後 comment 是 set lunch 較抵食
, 見客人叫的 burger set 很吸引, 下次有機會一定要試!

We will not go there again

I did wonder why the place was so empty whilst we were there

We found the lunch time menu sadly lacking - even the a la carte menu seemed to lack some of the specialities that I enjoy in Jimmys Central

The service was atrocious, and extremely slow considering we were eating from the set menu. For example several of us ordered the set dessert (I think there was only one) - it took almost 20 minutes to come

平時見D人都係黎呢度食野, 不過我今次只是飲野, 因為唔係好餓, 況且都快要10點LU~~入到去, 有一枱6-7個狂飲的男人, 有點吵.....另外仲有一PAIR情侶~~我叫左杯LEMON SQUASH,入面有我最鍾意既新鮮LEMON JUICE, 再加上SPIRIT, 鍾意飲酸野既我唔想飲汽水, 叫WAITER幫我換做SODA WATER, 估唔到自己諗既又都唔錯喎~~~飲落去會有D似lemon, lime and bitters~~但朋友飲左半啖就酸死了......今次坐WINDOW SIDE個邊, 望到條街, 也幾RELAX啊下次一定要試下係度食DINNER
