听说这家店是镛记烧鹅的后人开的,除了招牌的烧鹅,他们的叉烧也十分出名。刚好路过恩平道,就走到旁边的兰芳试试他们的东西。所在的大厦有工程,竹棚有少许挡着招牌,但应该不难找到。除了碟头饭,他们当然有供应烧味,价钱略贵,但名气大没办法。下午茶时段套餐最便宜是40多元,有饭和热汤,绝对不贵。由于想尝尝他们的大少爷叉烧,为求一试,就多花了30元点了大少爷叉烧煎蛋饭。上桌时看到的叉烧是厚切大块的,没有瘦叉般韧和黐牙,很腍而且没有渣。不知道是属于猪的哪部位,但以前没有吃过这样腍身的叉烧。可能是太厚身,部分位置不能腌到,中间的肉就有点淡。至于送的西洋菜汤,西菜汤已煲溶,十分浓郁,比喝饮料好。反正质量绝对可以,下次去的时候试试他们的浓边叉烧。

除了碟头饭,他们当然有供应烧味,价钱略贵,但名气大没办法。

For some reason I wanted some Hong Kong style roast meat. I seem to always go to Ki's Roast and was heading that way when I saw this place called Kam Tou. Curious, I decided to give it a try.

The place has a pretty pink decor. Seating is fairly spacious. This one was a bit sad. I wouldn't want to sit there.

However, the sad thing was the goose was well ... dry. They also gave me a lot of bone. I normally don't order the thigh, but I've never received mostly bone. This was mostly just bone and skin. There was hardly any meat. And the meat they did give me was dry.

光是打著鏞記的招牌,就已值得小弟親身過來試一下了....店好像是由甘老闆的其中一位公子開的,所以燒鵝自不然是這裡的招牌了。今天下午來到,簡單地點了一碟燒鵝雙併碟頭飯,再喝埋附送的例湯,吃完後竟只有半飽的感覺....湯味道四平八穩,內裡有一小件粟米及蘿蔔,甜度是足夠的....真的料想不到,眼前的這碟燒鵝雙併飯竟令我大跌眼鏡 (是失望的那一種感覺)....身為焦點的燒鵝,皮不香不脆淰滋滋;皮與肉之間存在著一層肥淋淋的白色脂肪;肉是沒有甚麼味道且甚硬實....燒腩仔一咬將下去皮是不脆毫無鬆化的咬口,瞬間已馬上將之判處死刑了....唯一的好處,是白飯炊得甚佳,口感軟熟好咬....對算是專道而來的我,面對著這碟東西,自不然是心生氣餒了....
