很久沒有回到這一間, 其實從中環走過來一點都不遠。我和同事一人點了一個set, 一個set不貴的價錢, 竟然有2個crepe, 很厲害! 我們都點了一個有蛋、火腿的crepe, 材料不算特別, 不過上桌時熱熱的, 而且crepe煎得很香!飲品我點了熱檸茶, 就是lipton, 沒有特別, 不過很大壺。甜品我點了chocolate caramel crepe, caramel 醬很甜, 2個crepe都很大的關係, 我們都沒法完成, 哈哈!雖然其寊知道crepe的成本很低, 不過用心做的, 都應該欣賞。

  最出人意表的是焦糖雪糕內藏焦糖粒,甜香濃味。再者是其帶微脆的質感,就算甜度很高都不覺膩口。香滑細緻,中心不是結塊冰感的雪糕稍為溶化,沾著班戟吃,當然最好不過。

  環境寬敞不逼,有低座或是高枱。入店後感覺舒適自在,家庭風格沒有過大的壓迫感。職員不會瘋狂監視或是要求落單,可以慢慢考慮。服務態度頗友善,店方會間中問問客人餐後感,顯出關注客人意見的認真杲
  還能發現原來有不少家庭組客人出沒。無他的,店內鹹甜招式盡出,基本上是老少咸宜。想要於食店林立的中上環區生存,除了靠款式及新意之外,還有什麼必備條件呢?

星期六的下午,太陽高高掛,去完Cauadaile 的活動,行了幾步又想搵個地方歇歇腳打打文,在中上環我習慣性都係用o個個 apps ,最後揀中了附近的Le Creperie,因為五分鐘腳程就到!上次見Mr.K Send 俾我o既相已經心癢癢好想試!!Crepe 65. Le Defi (原價$68/ Apps 價 $41)薄身的可麗餅上,淋以大堆頭的海鹽焦糖糖漿,薄餅邊微脆,焦糖雪糕內,加了不少的果仁粒,冰凍之餘又有咬口,Kawai 極愛這雪糕!!香蕉粒以焦糖煮過,香蕉熟透自然香味濃,口感軟軟的,濃濃的糖漿包著吃得很滿足~!這麼多的糖漿甜否?當然夠甜,不過偶一為之,我覺得還好的!!!不過這麼甜都是同愛人分享會比較適合呢 餐牌 上有數十款的Crepes, 咸的甜的都有,下次要來試試咸的口味!~連Gluten Free 的朋友都照顧到,真的很細心喔~

這麼多的糖漿甜否?當然夠甜,不過偶一為之,我覺得還好的!!!
不過這麼甜都是同愛人分享會比較適合呢

焦糖香蕉甜crepe,薄餅邊煎到微脆,上面佈滿海鹽焦糖醬、焦糖香蕉和一球焦糖雪糕。焦糖香蕉嘅配搭永遠係我最愛嘅,而且份量唔細,唔會太甜,食到好滿足呀!

On 24 March 2015, I dined at the Creperie with my friends for tea-time. There were 5 of us, and as we wanted to try as many crepes as possible, we are decided to share 5 crepes between the 5 of us.
We ordered 2 savory crepes and 3 sweet ones.
First, before our food arrived, we were served a bowl(yes bowl) of apple juice. It would have been apple cider, but we were underage, so we got the non-alcoholic juice instead.
The juice was very nice. It wasn't sickly sweet like most store-bought juices, but sour and tart and very refreshing.
While waiting for our food, we even got to watch the chef make the crepes. That was pretty fascinating.
Our food arrived pretty fast, even though there were a number of people in the restaurant.
So we sat and ate. The five of us first shared the sweet crepes first because we didn't want the ice cream to melt.

I wish I could have taken some pictures of the crepes, but we were just too hungry!

The first one we tried was "Le Sextant" (HK$68), which was a crepe with salted butter caramel and caramalized apples. It was also served with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, which made us all very happy. As we didn't really look at the menu properly, my friends and I debated whether the "mysterious fruit" on the crepe was pear or peach, but then we were shocked to find out it was apple. The caramalized apple did NOT taste like an apple. I think there was alcohol in it though, but as I am underage and have never tried alcohol, I am not sure. 

Anyway, the crepe was great. The apples were so perfectly cooked that you could cut through them easily. They weren't exactly sweet, but a bit tart, which I thought went well with the ice-cream and the caramel. The caramel was perfect. It wasn't sickly sweet, but sweet enough to make you feel like you were eating something very indulgent. This crepe was easily a 4/5.

Next, we shared "Le Defi" (HK$68). It was a crepe served with caramalized bananas, caramel ice-cream, and again, the amazing salted butter caramel. I have to say that the star of this crepe was definitely the ice-cream and the banana pair. The caramalization of the bananas was perfect, as they weren't mushy and still held their shape well. The caramel ice-cream was so perfect that I have no words to describe it. We all agreed that this was the best sweet crepe we tried. 5/5

After that we shared "Le Pecheur"(HK$68), which had caramalized bananas, chocolate, almonds and whipped cream. Sure, it sounds all fancy, but it was the most mediocre crepe of the day. Yes, the crepe was perfect and the bananas were spot-on, but everything else didn't spark my interest. The whipped cream was the store bought kind (I saw them preparing this one), which was very disappointing. I am sure I would like it more if it was prepared by the chefs rather than from a can. The chocolate syrup wasn't amazing, but just like regular chocolate syrup. My friends and I all agreed that this was the least spectacular. 2.5/5

Next we had the savory crepes. 

I'd just like to mention that there was a difference between the crepe of the savory kind and the sweet kind. While the sweet crepe was rather soft, the savory kind was crispy. 

For the savory, we first had "Le Broceliande"(HK$78), which was a crepe filled with goat cheese and topped with more goat cheese, salad and walnuts. There was also supposed to be honey in this crepe, but I didn't taste it. 

I have never tried goat cheese before, so it was a shock for me to find out that it was so tangy. That doesn't mean I didn't like it though, because I would definitely get this crepe again. The walnuts were a good accompaniment to the cheese. Again, nothing too spectacular about this crepe besides the cheese, but it was better than "Le Pecheur". 3/5

The last crepe we had was "La Piano"(HK$78), which was an egg, smoked salmon and cooked spinach filled topped with lemon and salad. I don't think the lemon really boosted the flavor of the crepe except make the salad sour, but the crepe itself was amazing! I have an obsession with smoked salmon, so this crepe made me very happy. I loved how the flavors went together. The crepe was literally stuffed with so much spinach and salmon. This crepe was so good that it could almost compete with "Le Defi." 4.5/5

Overall, it was a pleasant visit to this restaurant. The crepes were big, so one could definitely fill a person up for tea-time. The ambiance of the restaurant was very welcoming and friendly, that it made me want to stay. I would definitely recommend everyone to come here, despite the fact that it is a bit pricy for an afternoon snack.

大約下午一點去咁啱不用等位!星期一至五11:30-2:30有Set Lunch,一個鹹crepe 一個甜crepe,再加 coffe or tea ,個人認為都幾抵食,也夠飽!新鮮熱辣辣送到,食物配搭也不錯,有驚喜。推薦*23、好食!反而甜點crepe沒什麼特別餐廳環境都舒服,見到很多上班族去食。期待下次再光顧!

Sorry, forgot the name of the dishes that i ordered because i don't think i'm going back.

I just remember my hubby's was a classic crepe and mine was marked on the menu as a special.

My first bite, i already felt a bitterness in my mouth and as i ate on it became worst. It was because the crepe have this burnt taste......it was so bad i couldn't finish....
My crepe wasn't burnt but it's like you burnt something with a pan and you didn't wash your pan and then you cook another dish with that same pan, it will just pass the burnt taste to your next dish. ( I hope u know what i meant >< lol)

 The salad was ok, nothing special about it just a simple salad you could find in any other restaurant.

Overall, I think there is other better one out there. Won't be going back tho.....

Had a early lunch after attended a graduation ceremony at hku. Wanted to tried LA Creperie for a long time coz my fd said it was good. I only ordered a sweet crepe and an iced caramel latte and didn't go for the set lunch coz I'm absolutely a sweet teeth.

The sweet crepe (forgot the name) was with caramel sauce and caramel ice-cream. As you can see from the photo, the crepe was so thin, some parts of it were even with missing (the holes), the texture was too hard, crispy and not filling at all. To make it worse, the sauce was supposed to be caramel sauce, but it was toffee sauce instead...to others it maybe acceptable but I HATE toffee taste!! So it taste bad to me and I had to remove them all before I can eat the very thin crepe...

The iced caramel latte was not good also, the caramel taste is very weak and it's like an iced latte with plain suger syrup instead...the coffee base was bad too, suspected that it uses cheap coffee beans for the coffee base.

The whole meal cost ~$110 for just a sweep crepe and a coffee, it's way too expensive for what it served.
