頭盤: 炸豆干, 海哲, 牛, 炸綾魚球和腐皮卷樣樣唔錯, 但我略嫌太多油炸嘢, 新年的關係嗎XO醬炒花枝雞片, majority 覺得太辣, 本人 accept 倒美極煎海蝦, 一般水準, 但小表妹食了三隻新年唔少得的元蹄但大斑兩味又做得幾出色甜豆炒斑球, 好味~~肉嫩不油, 有功架清蒸斑頭腩...yummy yummy啫啫生菜煲用蒜子, 辣椒, 蝦醬爆, 好香口, 但又唔油瓦撑豉油雞, 雞滑, 有雞味, 我想 encore ar甜品:蛋白百合杏仁菜, ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~超讚 ^v^唔太甜, 杏仁味香濃, 成個糖水健康又清潤美麗、晶瑩通透的桂花糕清甜可口生果盤也切得靚靚, 誠意可加 continue reading

星期六在跑馬地看臺舉行的酒展,十二時一開始便去到。一小啖一小啖的嘗,又不喜歡吐出浪費,唔覺唔覺,一個多小時下來,分量已飲不少,正好稍爲休息,約埋放班的太太吃午飯。原本想去對面有骨氣飲茶,一問之下,原來有骨氣午飯是沒有點心吃的,於是便穿過隧道過馬路,來到這家大宅門。一向以爲這間餐廳是賣中餐的,原來餐廳是有中有西,既有中式點心小菜,也有西式牛排三文治,分別有中西兩個餐牌,各自演繹,沒有fusion dishes 。被安排坐在窗邊的二人臺,對正開揚的大馬路交匯處,雖然車輛不斷往來,但隔音好,不大聽見外邊聲音,視野空曠,感覺舒服。在侍應强烈推介之下,要了半隻鹽焗手撕雞,另外再要了四個點心–蝦餃,生竹牛肉,柱侯金錢肚及馬拉糕。雖然是酒店餐廳,可是點心水平却是差强人意。漲咕咕的蝦餃先上,差一點便認不出是蝦餃,因爲這裏只將蝦餡料求其放進澄面皮內,捏埋餃皮便算包好,完全沒有誠意把蝦餃皮打摺成蝦餃形,幸好蝦也算新鮮有味。接住上的鹽焗手撕鶏是較佳的一道菜,雞腌得鹹香,肉質軟滑,骨被起掉,吃落分外方便。金錢肚則油膩,水汪汪的,賣相毫不吸引,一般酒樓也不會差過這裏。牛肉則是一無是處,看上去沒問題,但一吃就發覺碱味極重,要用整碟喼汁中和其碱味才可以吃。算得上合格的是馬拉糕,熱熱的端上,也做得够鬆。侍應服務也是不合格。部長竟然大大聲的說下屬夥計計錯一些單的數,說若有下次,便可能要自己填。當然,老細話下屬本來無可厚非,但這樣的說話,客人聽見,一定沒有好感。此外隔鄰的六個客人,剛好坐滿一張中台,要叫一隻鹽焗手撕鶏,侍應竟然建議分兩碟上,什麽兩邊都容易夾得到云云,真難理解。另外,侍應水平也參差,有些是目不斜視之類,掀起了茶壺蓋,十分鐘都沒有人來沖茶。食完已經是三時有多,快快埋單,齊齊同太太再去續試美酒。 continue reading

以前常到此酒店是因為隔鄰的足浴店子是我和契媽的"鐵竇",愛其地方清靜和泊車方便。而近期來此地多是到大宅門lunch飲茶。大宅門的menu同時serve中、西餐,而我每次都是叫點心。他們的點心menu貴精不貴多,只有十多種例牌款式如蝦餃、燒賣、山竹牛肉和飽點等等,但質素卻並不"例牌",例如蝦餃和燒賣的蝦都新鮮爽口,大大件卻沒有肥騰騰的油膩感覺,山竹牛肉豐滿鬆化有彈力; 除點心外,其他餐前小食亦不錯,如手撕雞、素鵝、南乳炸碎骨等; 亦試過他們的蝦子柚皮及福建炒飯,同行友人亦一致讚好。這兒離開鬧市的繁忙,沒有其他食肆的擠迫嘈吵,地方寬敞雅致,落地玻璃窗對著車水馬龍的黃泥涌道和皇后大道東交界,坐在窗旁享受lunch悠閒一刻,是我的favourite lunch place option! continue reading

今次食中茶先食點心海鮮卷,蘿蔔糕-一般煎魚餅-幾鮮味又多粟米粒小籠包-每個用錫紙小杯盛著,雖然唔怕整穿皮,但覺得皮比平常的乾,肉汁又唔夠多蝦餃-點心中最好食,蝦爽口彈牙小菜堂炒生菜-好香,有鑊氣合桃炒蝦仁-蝦同蝦餃一樣爽口彈牙炒鹿筋-一般咕嚕肉-炸漿薄,脆口,但不夠酸炒飯-太乾,單獨吃的話,味太淡甜品紅豆糕-多紅豆,不太甜,幾好桂花糕-無乜桂花味,紅豆糕較好吃 continue reading

朋友請食飯仲指定要來大宅門。其實酒店剛開業時來過一次,感覺平平。今次再來,感覺依舊。由於是新開業冇耐既關係,裝修的確很新潮,有Art Deco的風格。而我們點了蝦餃、燒賣、鳳爪之類既行貨加一個海鮮湯麵。湯麵的魚和蝦都不太新鮮,只屬一般;點心的賣相不夠精緻,算不上是酒店的水準。味道亦只不過是中規中矩,冇甚特別。以平均$160/位的價錢,未算合格。 continue reading
