Decorated exactly the same as those in USA.Trolley is a bit smaller. Cream corn and spinach are not as good but the prime rib and lobster are one of the best quality here.

我見佢塊牛扒是切出來的,而且塊扒底同面都係生的。所以我想佢一定唔係用煎,而係用焗。煎的話無可能塊扒的底同面都可以係生的。佢應該係已經焗好左唔同程度的扒(rare, medium同well done),你要幾熟就在果舊扒切出來俾你。

今次埋單真係唔平,我地好少食咁既級數的食物,不過真係好好食同好特別。唔知會唔會有下次,希望會有。同事話星期五去扒王之王,我食完呢度之後真係一點去的興趣都沒有。

另外由於我牛一,所以送左一件甜品。大家生日去的話記得在訂台時通知餐廳了。

缺點係有的,裝修唔係真係好豪,塊地氈都幾難睇。另外佢度大廚房門成日又開又閂,雖然唔算嘈但係都幾煩擾。尤其是我地張桌係斜斜對住度門。仲有原來可以兩人share一塊頂級大牛扒,然後沙律可以split charge,佢又唔預先講…不過都唔係太大問題啦,我地都唔會成日來,只係小小意見,希望可以改進。

哦,我地食食下見到城中富豪劉鑾雄都入來食了點東西,不過佢唔夠一小時又走人了。

December, it’s a birthday month for my sister and myself. So fond of trying out new things, we decided to celebrate our birthdays together at Lawry\'s The Prime Rib. This is an American traditional steakhouse newly established in Hong Kong. As soon as I mentioned the table was reserved for our birthday celebration, the restaurant offered to give us two \"Strawberry English Trifle\" as free dessert.

The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was impressed by its grand style. It carried a very strong American spirit. The sound management is yet to be improved because I could hear clearly the conversation of the table next to me.

The roast beef at this restaurant is served from a large silver cart rolled from table to table, where the standing roast beef is then carved to order.

All prime rib dinner includes:

Salad made of romaine and lettuce, watercress, shredded beets, chopped eggs and croutons, tossed with a vintage Dressing.

Yorkshire Pudding

Mashed Potatoes

Whipped Cream Horseradish –this is uniquely prepared by the restaurant own recipe

In general, the food is good and fresh. The prime rib is juicy and tender. I love my California cut. My sister told me her English Cut was too thinly sliced. The taste of its horseradish was pretty unique; it tasted a bit different to what you could get off the counter, better off.

The “Strawberry English Trifle”dessert has a beautiful presentation and the cake was amazingly light and moist. It has successfully delighted my senses with its colours, textures and flavours.

Had a company lunch in Lawry's. The decoration, the atmosphere, and the taste of food live up to its reputation. Prime Rib is great, dessert ans salad is excellent.Service attitude is good. However, it needs better training or management. Food is served very slow and need too many times reminder. Noticed they did not write down the order, only by memory at the table. A story to show insufficient training. I discovered the credit card bill was 600 dollars less than the actual bill spending and had to remind the waitress for this mistake. In addition, I saw her talking to supervisor afterward, but was quite disappointed she obnly brougt back a new credit bill to sign, but not even a "Thank you" or "Sorry" was said by her or supervisor. This probably won't happen in Lawry's USA.
Overall speaking, the value is not there. But it is a good place for special occasions.

As someone who studied in California, I think this is a place for prime rib that is true to its origin. As someone who studied in California, I think this is a place for prime rib that is true to its origin. Every detail has been taken care of to make sure that the customers' experience are exactly the same as the ones in U.S.

This include very friendly service with detail explanations that is concise and to the point. Selections and prices are straight forward. Lawry's cut should be a good selection for guys while the california cut will be better for young ladies.

Overall the experience is nice and will definitely go there many times, as I am a prime rib fan.

On a separate note, I think it is important to respect one's presentation, because it is very close to prime rib house in the U.S. It is authentic U.S. prime rib and I don't think it is fair to criticize the presentation and culture. To say it is not your style is similar to saying that ladies should not be wearing traditional wear from Qing Dynasty in Chinese restaurants, as an example.

對於一個在加州讀書的人來說,這間扒房算做得好"足"。每一個環節,服務等都令顧客有身處總店的感覺。服務及詳細的講解不在話下,價錢同選擇都非常清楚。Lawry's cut 對喜好牛肉的男仕會幾適合,California cut 就應該滿足倒女仕。

總體來說真的不錯。應該會再去多幾次。

最後,有啲想講吓希望啲人尊重吓餐廳嘅整體表現,因為睇得出佢地花咗好多心機去體現美式扒房嘅文化。如果因為衣箸,服務而"彈"就幾唔公平。例如制服唔順眼,同外國人話中菜啲服務員穿"旗人"嘅衣着有乜分別?

Went there with my friends yesterday. To be honest, i am not a meat lover, My favourite food is actually japanese food. However, it was suprised that Lawry's is not bad at all. The Entre as normal U.S food-Nothing special, but the steak was really juciy and tasty. It does worth $3xx (California cut). The service was alright. i supposed the waitress could speak better english though (one of my friend is foreigner).The bill was around $2400 for 4 ppl. I gave them the AE black card to claim the 25%

The bill was around $2400 for 4 ppl. I gave them the AE black card to claim the 25% off discount. However, they said they can only do the discount with AE platinum, so ridiculous. (AE black is even higher class then AE platinum). Fortunately my friend did have a platnium card, so we still had the discount and everyone was happy^^. So, remember to go with a AE platinum card, great discount.

The prime rib is really tender and juicy, it is really the best in HK! Compare to the Lawry's in LA, i still like the LA setting, atmosphere, food and service better. But i am content to be able to eat Lawry's prime rib in HK without flying to LA!

I don't know what you guys talking about saying this is not as good as the one in L.A. I have been living in LA for 13 years and visited Lawrys unlimited times. You have tried the one at Beverly Hills only but have you tried the one at Eagle Rock? I guess not. And I'm sure I been there a lot more times then anyone of you in HK. All I want to say is the one in HK is same quality, same taste as the one in L.A. and Eagle Rock. Well, not the best prime rib in L.A. but sure the best in HK. Plus, the price is sooo cheap there. It worth to go again and again. In fact, I have made another reservation on 10/14 and 10/20. I'm getting so fat!

No other Lawy's franchise can be compared to the one in LA. Food quality was at most 70%. Gravy did not taste the same. The meat was not as tender. Services need to be improved. In our case, one of my guests who ordered lobsters had to sit watching the rest to eat for ten minutes. After drinking two bottles of wines, we wanted some water which required us to ask for it three times and to wait for another 15 minutes. We are a bit disappointed. For this money, food quality and services are not acc
