進入這家餐廳,仿佛走進一個顏色繽紛的美食天地🎉。一道咸肉腸上桌,帶咸香濃郁,啖啖肉感,朋友話怕咸,不過我個人就覺得啱口味,一試難忘!接著芝士登場,呢款羶馥芝味,點到即止,美味到叫人停唔到口😋。Tomato toast 真係贏晒掌聲,簡簡單單嘅一撻,卻驚艷左晒大家嘅味蕾。蟹肉卷出場,好有驚喜,口感係幾趣味,勁欣賞呢個創意。牛舌串烤得外脆內軟,滋味滿分。來到芝士章魚,款款豐富口感,又岩飲又岩食,簡直就係完美組合🐙。個salad餐單上寫得美美哋,鮮嫩生菜同豐富配料,每嚼一口都感覺好Fresh好清新,雖然有幾個鬼馬隊友覺得接受唔到,我係真心覺得好正。最後主菜燒鴨,肉質鮮嫩多汁,脂香味美,send入口有種幸福感覺。餐廳服務都不俗,只不過去個洗手間前記得要睇清楚門口嘅標誌再行動,避免走錯場啦!总的來說,呢次食下來,真係一場味覺上嘅旅行。

今次我去咗間講究西班牙菜嘅食肆,第一次試佢地嘅燒乳豬,真係驚喜到我!啲皮脆到不得了🥁,啲肉又嫩又香,啱啱好噴鼻,有少少似西班牙傳統做法,但係呢度做得更加modern一啲。雖然同Ole比起來,佢地個皮做到更係啪啪聲,但我覺得肥肉同肉味方面,Ole仲係王👑。至於Fofo by El Willy,今次就稍微遜色啲,特別係MESA 15出品質素差唔多,價錢仲抵食,Fofo下次加油咯!但話說返黎啦,呢個乳豬真係下次我仲會再黎食👍。至於其他嘅菜式就有啲hit or miss。話說西班牙風味好似突然間大晒,足球、賽車、名副其實嘅Tapas,成日見到人提。今次食完呢個,我都開始覺得,搭上呢股西班牙熱潮,真係無咩不妥!

忍不住將三款沙律醬汁逐一品嚐, Sherry Vinegar Vinaigreete 及Honey Dressing 也很對口味,與嫩滑的沙律菜混和,甜稠香盈,為隨後豐富的 Tapas,率先打開胃納之門。而 Sesame Dressing 味道則較為遜色,芝麻味稀薄得很。

混和了洋蔥、牛奶、蟹肉和其他調味與食材,入口盡是牛奶的滑溜和豐郁,跟大良炸鮮奶的質感有著相同之處,不過相比之下,我更愛 Crab Croquettes。因為無論餡料、口感與食味均相對豐富及富層次感。

- Tortilla
或許可將 Tortilla 譯為西班牙蛋餅,曾嚐過硬繃繃不對辦的 Tortilla,吸引力全失。不過 Mesa 15 的,卻是令人稱心滿意!雞蛋、薯仔、芝士、洋蔥匹配得宜,整件Tortilla 嫩滑,口感豐盈,令人回味再回味!

- Marinated Salmon Cucumber Salad
其實我不愛三文魚,但賣相如此討好,不禁亦破例的來了一件。

三文魚片很新鮮嫩滑,加上出色醬汁的滋潤,令三文魚倍感油滑。Marinated Salmon Cucumber Salad 的紅蘿蔔絲及松子仁,清甜香脆,也為三文魚片增添不少的口感。底部的青瓜塊也經過特別的醃製,味道清新兼帶著甜香,相當的不錯!

Mesa 15 的 Marinated Salmon Cucumber Salad,是我暫時唯一懂得欣賞的三文魚。

- 右手邊黃色像蛋糕的 Tapas,沒有標上名稱。一試後,可肯定是炒蛋。炒蛋餡料有蕃茄、磨菇、煙肉等,蛋漿保持水盈嫩滑,令人非常滿意!

- Pisto & Sea Bass
這個 Pisto 用了圓形酥皮盛載,富有心思的設計。Pisto 用料的蕃茄、洋蔥及燈籠椒還保持挺身及乾爽,調味偏向自然;而酥皮可能放久了,不夠香脆。頂部白色的正方體是 Sea Bass, 經加工後,魚肉變得爽口、具彈性,還有以清鮮的鹹味醃製,風格跟葡國的馬介休很相近。

-Confited Quail Leg & Potato "Escabeche"
最初看到平日較少嚐的鵪鶉腿,食意變得更加澎湃。怎料一試後,發覺鵪鶉腿經慢火烹調後,肉質確實甚為嫩滑,但無論肉質本身,以至調味方面都甚為平淡,甚或用無味來形容更直接了當,總之期望愈大、失望愈大!薯仔則用了 "Escabeche" 酸汁醃製, 所以帶有微酸的味道。但由於鵪鶉腿過於淡然,因此兩者在味覺上起不了互相協調的作用。

老公選了 "Mar Y Montana" Deboned Pork Feet & Prawn Rice。 "Mar Y Montana" 在西班牙語是海與山的意思,在食物的環節上是指華倫西亞經典的海鮮飯。

最有趣的是豬腳的烹調效果,將煎得香脆的表面反轉過來,能清晰地看到豬腳柔韌與紮實的豬皮、脂肪、軟根及豬肉,口感煙韌有嚼勁,並且感覺到豐郁的骨膠原。歐洲與亞洲在地理上相距甚遠,但華倫西亞的豬腳跟中式的烹調效果卻相當接近,的確非常有趣!

蝦隻爽脆之中帶著鮮甜,而米飯的軟硬度亦烹調得正宗,有嚼勁兼充滿磨菇香氣。

我要了 Glazed Ox Tongue, Mashed Potato, Capers Gravy。

當刀义放在牛舌上細切,已感應得到牛舌的鬆化與彈性。除了質感腍軟外,牛舌同時富有濃郁的牛香,在充份吸取了醬汁後,每一口都是精華所在。

一直都喜歡薯蓉,Capers Gravy 帶有香草氣味,混合牛舌的醬油進食,顯得份外滋味。薯味若可再重一點,定當更迷人。

甜品有三款選擇,我們放棄了 Greek Yoghurt,挑選了另外兩款的 Spicy Ginger Spanish Creme Brulee 及 70% Cacao Chocolate Mousse, Strawberry Marmalade。

Spicy Ginger Spanish Creme Brulee 表層焦糖燒得脆口,帶著輕甜與薑味,蛋漿更是滑不留口。

而 70% 可可豆成份的朱古力慕絲,連我這個不愛朱古力的人也傾心了。入口完全不甜,最喜歡還是那股甘醇的可可豆香氣,還有慕絲中間帶有微酸的 Strawberry Marmalade 醬汁,令朱古力慕絲更加細緻動人。

熱咖啡跟甜品本應是絕配,可惜我倆的肚子已飽得不能再澎脹了,還是要來兩杯含檸檬的餐飲,幫忙消化。

很久沒跟老公在上班的日子午膳了,總算是借來的閒情。無論如何,希望以後一家人可齊齊整整、平平安安,能經常聚首一堂,便是天賜莫大的福氣了!

This place is TOO GOOD for Hong Kong
. The value to deliciousness ratio is outstanding--- I felt like i was in Manhattan or Madrid.

We had the ox tongue which was just a dreamy cube of the juiciest and most flavorful meat ever. And it's no surprise, they have a sous vide machine running at 64C in the kitchen. We also had the amazing stand-out dish of aged iberian, it tasted like pure melty goodness. Their suckling pig's skin was so crispy it blew us all away. Basically every dish was very well executed. There are lot of creamy potato foams! These folks know how to cook animals!

Go for the lobster and sea urchin rice and you will be a happy person.

Their wine list is truly a feat, everything is so well priced and their cheapest bottle tastes like the most expensive bottle you'd get anywhere else. Go for a bottle of Rioja.

Seriously, think Ferran Adria at his most laid back--- these dishes the casual bites he wouldn't mind eating.

They have some serious equipment in the kitchen from a Combi Oven to a sous vide machine (plus I'm sure lots of issi whips), they're very well studied. I really wouldn't be surprised if the chef interned somewhere spectacular.

Friendly advice to all readers, have a filling lunch before going for dinner as the portion is the tiniest portion I've seen. The slow cooked wagyu beef with truffle sauce tasted sour. The wagyu itself wasn't tender and was absolutely tasteless. Terribly disappointing. Overall, I may say its a good place for having tapas or some snacks before a drink.....

As this is my first review in openrice, it has to be a good one
(at least a good restaurant that I like). I recently went to this place with my family and it happened to be a surprise for us. In the first place, we all thought the location is more for LKF people who come afterwork chilling for the night with hot office lady. In fact, it is not the case. The restaurant has a long history in Barcelona and they opened the chain shop in Hong Kong. We were seated in the middle of ground floor with high table and seats (this part was a bit disappointed, we wished to have normal seats). Anyways, we first served with the compliment which is similar to a Gazpacho but with beet root base. We all like it so much. Then, we had lberico ham served with tomato toast. In my opinion, this probably the best dish I had for the night. Also, the ham is not very expensive in my opinion given the quality. Then, we ordered the egg with chorizo, ox tongue, black rice with seafood, and the suckling pig. Overall, the food is good relative to the price for it. The suckling pig is good but not very surprising as it is a bit similar to the Chinese style BBQ pig (haha!). Costing $230 is a bit pricy for six pieces. However, the rest of the food such as the black rice is amazing. Sorry that I did not take picture for all the food. I was told the service isn't that good from my friends and turned out to be not case
. The waitress who served us did her best to explain the menu and also accepted some special requests for us (for example, we asked for a side dish of tomato which is not on the menu). We feel comfortable with the service there. Overall, I will not say Mesa 15 is a must go but good food/service with reasonable price, why not

上個星期吃到好好吃的法國菜,今個星期當然又想延續這美味旅程,可是到週中我也沒有物色到好的餐廳,最後在某份網絡報章的網站裡看到介紹這家西班牙餐廳,午市套餐自選三款tapas只是$188,見價錢不貴,又一段時間沒吃tapas,所以就馬上訂位。週末一直下著雨,不知道是不是天氣不好的關係,午餐時間只有一檯客而已。裝潢比較暗黑,樓底很高,因為怕裡面太黑拍照不方便,我們坐在窗口的位置,等室外的 天然光可以為食物打燈。店員遞上套餐餐牌時發現內容改了,現在是tapas八選二,主菜飯類四選一,甜品二選一,只$168+10%而已,逢星期六、日及公眾假期比之前更加便宜。Deep fried calamari with alioli dip。炸魷魚圈配alioli dip,alioli是一種傳統的西班牙醬汁,主要是用蒜蓉、橄欖油做的,看起來有點像mayonnaise,所以也有人稱之為garlic mayonnaise。魷魚圈炸得香口,炸漿夠薄,不油膩,魷魚新鮮彈牙,配上充滿蒜香的alioli dip,比常吃到的酸甜醬更夾。Slow-cooked free range egg with chorizo & po

Slow-cooked free range egg with chorizo & potato cream。賣相很吸引,紅色的醬汁是用西班牙辣香腸煮成的。把蛋戳破,鮮黃色的蛋汁緩緩流出,與薯蓉混合在一起,薯蓉夠幼滑,蛋味也濃,本來應該很好吃的,不過辣肉腸有點鹹之餘也有點硬,影響了口感。

Mussels in tomato & Iberian ham sauce (+$20)。要額外加錢的tapas,不過店員說今天沒有mussel,問我們改蜆仔有沒有所謂,蜆我也喜歡,所以照點。本來以為是用同一個煮法去煮, 結果卻變了香草湯汁煮蜆。蜆肉雖小,但新鮮飽滿多汁,質素不錯,不過鬆弛喝了一口湯汁,說超級鹹,我也跟著嚐了一口,是真的很鹹。

Marinated white tuna cubes, Spanish goat cheese foam, Iberian pancetta (+$20)。另一款加錢tapas,用一個小杯盛著,只看到西班牙羊奶芝士foam和幾片灑過糖用火烤的瓜片。裝在裡面有浸過特製醬汁的白吞拿魚粒和意大利煙肉,焦糖片配搭著芝士味超濃郁的羊奶芝士foam,芝士foam幼滑如rich cream,鹹中帶甜,意想不到的超級好吃。

Black rice with baby cuttlefish, green alioli。黑飯其實即是墨魚汁飯,飯的口感像意大利飯,咬起來帶點煙靭,不會過硬,是適合大眾的軟硬度。不知道alioli是不是常常用來配魷魚類的東西,這個飯同樣有一碟alioli sauce伴吃,鬆弛說飯有點鹹,我就覺得如果加點alioli sauce剛好可以中和一點,而實在上我也認同這裡的食物在調味方面有點重手。兩件小魷魚好像煮得不夠熟,裡面口感滑滑的,沒有正常的彈牙口感,感覺不太好。

Classic seafood fideua (Spanish macaroni-style pasta)。Fideua是很傳統的西班牙菜式,大家都知道西班牙有著名的Paella海鮮飯,而Fideua就是其姐妹作,即是西班牙海鮮麵,製作方法與Paella一樣,只是飯改成麵條而已。看樣子真的和通心粉差不多,不過比較幼和長,口感彈牙,味道不錯,只是不太夠熱。

Chocolate-biscuit mousse。上面兩塊薄薄的朱古力餅乾,朱古力味很濃,下面的朱古力慕絲不是幼滑的那種,而是和一些朱古力餅碎混合在一起,所以多了些脆脆口感,甜的程度還可以接受,不錯。

Banana-toffe, baileys frappe, yoghurt foam。香蕉蓉配搭拖肥和百利酒frappe,上面的雖說是yoghurt foam,口感輕盈,但味道比較似淡忌廉,欠了點乳酪的微酸味,不過兩者配搭起來很好吃,不太甜,我也挺喜歡的。

不要看每碟小小的,吃完之後也覺得飽。食物方面其實還不錯,只是某幾款的調味重手了,微調一下就會好,而且$168這個價錢在這個地段實在不貴,所以絕對可以一試。

The food is absolutely phenomenal! The chef Alejandro is fabulous and very friendly. We had some sangria, sherry (way too big glasses) and red wine with the dinner. Then she filled my wine glass that still had wine from the first bottle with wine from the second bottle. Really? Mixing wine? Very rude person!

12-hour confitted crispy suckling pig, sautéed apples & pears, pickled cabbage $229: 9分, 跟著吃的就是不少朋友也讚賞的乳豬, 一客只有六件, 賣$229, 不能夠說是便宜的定價. 乳豬烤得相當出色, 皮夠薄身, 一咬落口, 是熱辣辣而又脆卜卜, 當然, 豬肉一樣的出色, 經過十二小時的油封後, 肉質嫩滑, 相當香口, 肥羔部份更是相當肥美, 怎能抗拒? 吃完乳豬, 也要吃吃伴碟的蘋果及梨, 能夠減輕那份油膩感. 這道乳豬, 實是這裡的高水準招牌作.

Pan fried slow-cooked ox tongue with paprika-garlic sauce, mojo rojo dip $109: 9分, 再來的就是牛舌, 慢煮再煎香而成, 切成小粒, 一客的份量也不算太多. 火候控制得剛好, 肉質有彈性, 不會太實, 配合上paprika蒜蓉醬是幾惹味的. 除此之外, 還可以點附上的mojo rojo醬汁, 幾開胃的. 這道牛舌, 也是不能錯過的項目.

Whole pan fried lobster on paella style rice with chorizo & green extra virgin olive oil $369: 8分, 除了肉類之外, 也要了客飯. 這裡供應的不全是paella, 而是paella style rice. 不過這裡不是全個鍋上檯的, 而是另行放上碟上, 感覺上是失了點風味. 飯粒質感對辦, 幾有咬口, 煙煙韌韌的, 飯粒吸收了西班牙臘腸及橄欖油的味道, 帶點鹹香. 吃慣了正常版的海鮮paella, 試試這個版本也無不可. 免頭的就是龍蝦, 煎得不俗, 龍蝦本身也有相當的鮮味, 但味道不會太濃, 用來配合濃味一點的paella是幾合適的.

Grilled organic Spanish duroc pork chop marinated with Mediterranean herbs, crispy potatoes, apple chutney $219: 8分, 由於這裡的食物份量是偏細的, 大家吃到這個階段好像還未夠飽, 唯有再加一道主菜分吃吧, 就要了客豬扒. 用上了Duroc豬, 肉味幾濃郁, 肉質嫩滑, 配上面頭的香草, 是相當的香口. 當然, 也要點點旁邊的蘋果‎酸辣醬, 酸中帶點辣味, 豐富了豬扒的味道. 另外, 炸薯條是熱辣辣, 不會太油, 但就太過乾身, 不太吸引.

Homemade cheese cake with strawberry-red wine marmalade $75: 8分, 最後當然是甜品的時間, 因為是慶祝生日的緣故, 這道甜品是店方敬送的. 芝士蛋糕質感不會太實, 芝士味剛好, 不會太濃烈, 是比較平易近人的程度, 而餅底就是幾脆口的. 面頭的是士多啤梨紅酒醬, 甜酸度的平衡做得不錯, 也因為芝士不會太濃烈, 配上這個搶味一點的士多啤梨紅酒醬就更合宜.

Fresh baked pineapple tarte tatin, served with ginger-tea crème fraiche $75: 9分, 另一道甜品就是菠蘿批, 新鮮焗起的, 熱辣辣, 用上菠蘿而非用上蘋果, 減輕了酸度, 而批就幾香脆, 再配合上薑茶味的crème fraiche, 那份薑味, 跟菠蘿的味道是出奇的匹配. 這道甜品, 跟傳統吃開的蘋果批來比, 實是特別得來而又有水準.

整體食物是有相當水準, 特別喜歡菠蘿批, 乳豬以及牛舌. 服務方面, 未算是太貼心的, 不過也令人滿意了, 起碼在生日慶祝上是做得到令人驚喜的安排. 價位方面, 當然是不便宜, 埋單要$1331, 每位平均是$333, 不過輪到地段, 食物質素, 這價錢也算是合理的.

最後, 單計晚市, 這裡的價位似乎並不符合必比登的要求, 是單計特價午餐而入圍嗎?

Mesa 15 is more a posh and trendy restaurant than a tapas bar! It is a 2 floor restaurant with a visible kitchen, which is sealed behind the glass. I have often visited the restaurant on weekdays, where the service is alright. BUT NOT TODAY, it was bloody, absolutely and surely dreadful.

It was a busy Friday; the waitress brought us 2 glasses of hot water. But please, it wasn’t my fault that you gave me a glass of hot water instead cold water, which I ordered, and certainly I don’t deserve a “JUST WAIT OKAY” for your mistake. Maybe I look like a diner who doesn’t eat at a restaurant, after my friend ordered; the waitress packed away the menu and walked away without my order. So I made my order before she left, and she was annoyed, because either she was pmsing or she didn’t have hands to write it down. What a shame that the pretty waitress is brainless.

The chorizo was diced and mixed with sliced mushroom. Then it was topped with a raw egg to slow cook it, till the egg is about 70% cooked. I loved the combination, the ingredients matched well together and it was perfect to go with slices of bread.

I am not a big fan of this dish. It felt like I was eating tinned crab meat, lacked the flavour of crab. It wasn’t creamy enough, would prefer if it add more cream, milk, butter and flour. Perhaps, with some mushroom and artichoke to add some dimension to the cassetole. The cereal crumbs was ovened nicely, but lacked the parmesan cheese.

Slow cooked crispy Suckling Pig
This suckling pig was breathtaking. It could have been a nine out of ten dish; seriously the side didn’t match the suckling pig at all. Perhaps I would use squash pure instead of the sweet potato. However, the suckling pig was cook to perfection. The skin was crispy and seasoned with sea salt before serving, while the fat and meat just mixed together somehow. The fat was jelly alike and the meat was very tender, the fat and meat melted together as soon as it touched my mouth. That sensational feeling just linger around your mouth and made you beg for more. Wow, just don’t know what to say anymore.

The quality of food was a mix standard, some are really good, some are just okay, and sometimes the side are wired match. Overall, there are plenty of mouth watering dishes for diners to choose from. It would be a nice restaurant for a gathering or even a date, only if diners are not serving by a brunette European waitress!

今晚跟屋企人相約到這間西班牙餐廳見面, 入去裡面既裝修好有情調, 係三五知已傾計既好地方,環境一流!! 全晚食每一道菜都係好有驚喜, 前菜有一道三文魚冷盤, 真係好好味...清新口味!! 其他既前菜都係好精緻又唔會油膩...D火腿片薄薄入口唔會令你覺咸...再配以其他多士麵包, 真係全部都恰到好處!! 主菜既乳豬真係一定要試....最後既甜品都係好正....總之全晚都係好豐富, 傾得開心, 食得又開心!! (講真, 要我記D菜名, 真係有D難道..嘻嘻!)
