終於上前菜喇,白酒Meursault 2007 +馬里蘭蟹餅, 支白酒可能較為fruity所以好容易入口…我like…而且同蟹餅好啱feel….yummy.
第二支都係白酒Chablis Les Opales 2010, 呢支白酒係用嚟配黑松露雞清湯,我都係第一次白酒配湯飲…好特別呢….呢支白酒可能用來配襯清湯,所以較第一支酒清淡啲…但飲起嚟又覺得同個湯好配合.

食食吓有專人埋嚟簡單介紹當晚wine dinner menu內啲紅白酒,好professional,好有貴賓feel. 其實呢餐唔貴,有呢種服務好正.

跟住就到紅酒出場,哈哈…本人較喜愛飲紅酒…好期待啊….Mercurey 2009 +低溫烹調三文魚, 以前成日認為海鮮配白酒,原來配魚都好好味架,雖然飲落有啲單寧感但好香好醇,越飲越飲有味道越好飲,

聽過介紹知道主菜跟的紅酒來頭不少, 就係呢支Grand Echezeaux Grand Gru 2008,杯酒好香帶有花香味,飲第一啖覺得好有口感帶點單寜…好飲. 我選擇了羊架配呢支酒, (本來是西冷牛扒的,因為我不吃牛所以要求換了羊架). 始終覺得紅酒配紅肉會好味啲, 哈哈….我選擇冇錯, 越飲就越覺得支酒越有深度,越來越醇厚有口感,好酒就係唔同啲既…

最後還有甜品柑桔朱古力芝士蛋糕….真的完美的句號…..正正正!!!

之前都參加過好幾次wine tasting 同兩次wine dinner,今次感覺最好~~前嗰兩次wine dinner 都係安排一個area,跟住有人企出黎介紹每道菜同支酒點match 法,之後就開始食。。。。到尾~~今次,照樣坐底先黎杯welcome wine,以為遲咗黎,已經講解完酒菜嘅配搭,點知飲完個湯,法國酒商+經理+大廚,每人拎住杯酒,續枱埋枱同客傾計,問吓食物啱唔啱食,邊支酒好飲啲,嘢食同酒夾唔夾等,令客人感覺舒服好多,平民食wine dinner 都唔會格格不入,仲高尚咗添,之後間唔鐘都有埋枱講解啲酒,其中一支仲係《神之水滴》第一集入面支靚酒~~可能酒店關係,服務都好似好啲,服務生笑容都多啲,每道菜相隔時間唔會太耐,本身menu定咗主菜食牛,但訂枱時提及有朋友唔食牛,都有得轉羊,感覺窩心~~

到跟住到甜品係美式芝士餅,由於我唔食芝士,所以侍應問我要唔要fruit platter( 居然有得轉果碟,真係估唔到),咁我就要果碟,老婆就食cheese cake,生果都無乜好特別啦,咁我問老婆舊cheese cake味道如何,佢就話芝士味好濃,攪到好滯,早知都同我一齊食果碟算數~~
總括嚟講呢餐都算係有驚喜囉,百零蚊一位有咁多野食仲要味道唔差,下次有機會就嚟試下佢個dinner先!!

今日一行十人和朋友慶祝相識紀念日,去了尖東富豪酒店mezzo grill 既扒房食西餐。裏面既裝修俾人有一種懷舊的感覺。坐位好濶,食野唔會好逼,唔會手爭撞手爭!坐低仲可以望住出面既既聖誕燈飾黎品嘗美味!好好氣氛!食物都俾我想像中好!當日我同朋友叫左法式藍蟹濃湯、美國T字骨牛扒配紅酒汁。值得推介就係蟹湯,而牛扒比起出面個啲仲更加淋。口感好好。飯後仲食左一個個芝士蛋糕,好好味!我地仲用左city bank黎埋單,有65折優惠,好扺食!我相信會再黎幫襯!staff is very nice!;)

The hamburger was nice and the chef recommended cream of mushroom with truffles is fantastic: the hamburger is not salty. It was quite juicy. The tomato and lettuce were fresh too.

The cream soup had a great balance between mushroom and truffles.

I tried French onion soup in different restaurants. Most of them were quite salty. The French onion soup in this place was also very rich in flavour but it was not salty.

The mashed potato was smooth. Also a good balance of flavour of potato and butter.

One more surprise was their home made bread. There was one made with peppers, which was a bit spicy, made me impressed.

The waiters were friendly and professional. They were not pushy at all.

我喜歡她如同Cheese cake般綿滑的質地。

餐茶: 我都是order番檸檬水。

整餐飯每道菜都充滿驚喜,看的出廚師超用心的,不是到處都可以吃到的菜式,最難得是每道都很好味。只是起菜的速度真的好需要耐心等哦,幾道菜足足用了兩個小時哦。
Anyway, 在這裡過了一個開心舒服又滿足的星期五夜晚,超級推薦。

Me and my gf went 2 this restaurant celebrate my b-day coz we had the $500 b-day coupon. Was not quite as d comment b4. Can c d server a bit rush in d restaurant. We sited n served with menu (a young slim guy with jacket). He recommends us some cocktail n we order one juice only (my gf). Then the other guy (more handsome) comes n told us some dishes wrote on d glasses. We order d lobster sets $398(live lobster from d tank). Taste ok. Salad bar 算好多野揀, 除左一般的菜, 粟米, 豆之類, 仲有幾款已整好的意粉沙律, 茄子沙律, 薯仔沙律, 亦有幾款海鮮好似三文魚, 蝦甘~ 如果鍾意食沙律的, 食個salad bar都夠. I was early released from the seminar in TST yesterday. So that I called up my friend and she recommended trying out the lunch set in Regal Kowloon Hotel. One of their restaurants – “Mezzo Grill” is running a theme: “59 Minutes Executive Lunch” - if the lunch takes longer than 59 minutes to serve, the lunch is on house account and guests can enjoy the lunch for free.When we get there, it was only 12:30 hrs and there are just a few customers in the restaurant. I was early released from the seminar in TST yesterday. So that I called up my friend and she recommended trying out the lunch set in Regal Kowloon Hotel. One of their restaurants – “Mezzo Grill” is running a theme: “59 Minutes Executive Lunch” - if the lunch takes longer than 59 minutes to serve, the lunch is on house account and guests can enjoy the lunch for free.

When we get there, it was only 12:30 hrs and there are just a few customers in the restaurant. We were led to window seat and sit down. The waiter there was friendly enough and introduce us the lunch menu. Set lunch was served as a semi buffet style: starter and soup were in buffet style and main dishes were by serving.

For starter, there was smoked salmon and rainbow trout, fresh green leafs, chick beans, corns, fruit sales, asparagus, etc. The greens and asparagus are real fresh and nice, the rest are ok.

There is only one choice of soup. It was “chicken and mushroom soup”: Chinese style clear soup. They cooked it with the Chinese mushroom. It was quite nice and hot enough. Soup was still warm until my last spoon.

More for starters, they have a roast chicken served under the hot plate at the buffet bar. However, there is no one to help out or even show us how to “slice” the chicken… (at the end, no guest has ever touched it…)

Main course, my friend picked a grill steak and I chose grill pork fillets with mushroom sauce. It was served with steam veggies and smash as side dishes. The pork fillets were soft and juicy, quite match with the sauce; the smash is a bit too dry and tasteless. I put quite an amount and salt & paper… By the way, one thing that could quite impress me was the restaurant provided the small grinders on the table for salt & paper, and they were using rock salts!!!

After the main, I was too full for dessert. But my friend had some sliced fruits, a slice of cheese cake and a little cup of mango mousse!!! Fruits looked fresh and the mango mousse was actually very tempting...

On the other hand, the decoration of the restaurant, it gave me the “English” style feel. However, the ceiling is a bit low, so it was a bit noisy when it got busy. Also, the colour matching of the sofa is quite strange: orange and blue on the back rest; and red with the seat… And it made it very un-classy with sticking the “special offers” on the glass mirror…

As a whole, the atmosphere and food quality were good. You will fell welcome with the friendly staff there as they always have the big smile on their face! We had our beautiful lunch within 50 minutes (counted from we were seated). The price for the lunch is depends on what you order. The range is from HK$138.00 to HK$178.00 (need to add 10% service charge). The pork fillet that I order was HK$168.00+10% service charge. I find it quite worth the value and I may go there again next time with friends and try out other dishes!!!
