最後是樟茶鴨,點菜時,侍應已提醒此菜色製作需時,本來滿心期待,可惜上菜時,卻大失所望。
首先看到是顏色,外表像炸雞,外皮似是炸過一般,樟菜鴨應該是棕紅色的,但看來廚師的製作上出了誤差,煮得過火,外皮完全沒有光澤。

伴碟時柚子醋和淮鹽用以提味,不過第一口我完全不點任何配料,發覺鴨肉很乾身,已經煮得過老,雖然有汁,但肉的口感太韌下,食落如同食牛肉乾一般,完全提不起勁吃,不知道是否煮得太過的關係,整隻鴨的肉並不多,最期待的菜色卻煮成這般,實在感到很可惜

金滿庭從前經常都會去到時代13樓食飯, 之前翻新過一段時間今次母親節飯, 我地早一日打來BOOK 枱,  E, 冇諗過會BOOK 到, 1830-2030, 2030要交枱餐前小食左邊既青瓜非常好食, 微辣右邊雞粒雖是金黃色, 但凍, 淋, 松子魚每逢到訪都會指定叫它一上枱, 大家都異口同聲~~細條左咁多既仲要冇肉食, 只有少少既肉咬雞絲粉皮 好味, 粉皮夠滑, 各式既醬料都好香三鮮豆腐一口小籠包皮薄多汁, 每粒小籠包肉都充滿肉汁,正奶油津白京燒羊腩唔好味, 硬, 咸蝦仁蛋餅蝦仁份量都充足, 但個人認為蛋餅太乾身蔥油大餅以前既份量大D , 味道亦都好味好多,而家可能成本上升, 每碟都好似細左建議佢地細碟就配番隻細碟LA..1955食完, 門口非常多人等位..

最後又係京川滬餐館必叫又可作水平參照既經典菜式--小籠包喇。皮略厚及偏硬(呢個唔係問題,反而筆者認為近年各方落力追捧皮要極薄,容易令人忽視整體效果) ,內有湯汁唔會夾穿,食落ok, 唔差但無感動既感覺,合格啦
!出面一般一籠4或6隻,again 呢到秉承份量多既宗旨,一籠8隻。

This is my all time favorite restaurant to go to whenever I have family occasions. Since several years ago my family would eat dinner here once a month. Modern China used to be on the 10th floor of Times Square and I remember going there 1 hour early just to line up for a ticket.

We usually ordered the same dishes all the time but never got tired of it. The tea we ordered was also the same as it is my favorite. I could sit there drinking tea for hours if it was allowed. The tea I am talking about is their Oolong tea (apologies if I don't spell the pronunciation correctly "yun sum oolong").

The cleanliness of this restaurant is on point. I have never seen any dirty dishes on the tables and the food is well presented. Even the toilets are very clean.

Back to the food. There is fried bean curd (brown skin) that I would recommend. The chicken wonton soup is very good as well. The flavoring in this soup is quite authentic. If one is afraid of the portion they have three sizes, quarter, half , and whole. The spicy string beans is also a dish I often order as vegetables. In addition there is the classic Xiao Long Bao as this restaurant mainly serves Shanghai cuisine. As for dessert I recommend the Gao Li Dou Sha which is a white bun with red bean paste and bananas inside. If one wants to order this dessert I suggest ordering it at least 15mins before getting the bill as it has an approximate preparation time of 10mins.

This is one restaurant I recommend to anyone. This is a family style restaurant so do not go ordering individual dishes for yourself.

Last but not least I recommend going early so one does not have to wait too long for a table or if it is a large family celebration make reservations at least 1 week ahead or one month ahead if it is for Chinese New Year, New Year, Christmas, Moon Festival or any other large occasion.

同事話想食金滿庭,貪佢坐得舒服價錢又唔貴,於是我地就去左時代廣場13樓。由於無訂枱既關係,星期五既夜晚六點幾都要等10分鐘先能夠入座。一坐低就揀左人蔘烏龍茶,味道甘甜。另外仲有雞軟骨作餐前小食,但已經放涼同較油。今日我地揀左: 香酥鴨半隻鴨被切得大小不一,而上碟時既感覺好混亂,好似餸頭餸尾咁。鴨咬落好乾身,需要加泰式醬汁先令到佢容易入口。同同事三個人食左三分之一已經放棄左。 榨菜牛肉餅見到相片覺得好吸引,但一咬既時候已經覺得唔對路,外層好厚好硬,入面都有d肉汁但肉味不夠香濃惹味。 水煮牛肉賣相吸引,好多辣椒,但牛好軔又唔入味....食落唔夠麻香惹味...食食下煲入面有條頭髮,最後叫經理黎退左佢換左另一個鍋總括黎講,今次真係失望而回,可能我唔識得點菜,不過我應該唔會再黎。

同事話想食金滿庭,貪佢坐得舒服價錢又唔貴,於是我地就去左時代廣場13樓。由於無訂枱既關係,星期五既夜晚六點幾都要等10分鐘先能夠入座。

一坐低就揀左人蔘烏龍茶,味道甘甜。另外仲有雞軟骨作餐前小食,但已經放涼同較油。

香酥鴨

半隻鴨被切得大小不一,而上碟時既感覺好混亂,好似餸頭餸尾咁。鴨咬落好乾身,需要加泰式醬汁先令到佢容易入口。同同事三個人食左三分之一已經放棄左。

賣相吸引,好多辣椒,但牛好軔又唔入味....食落唔夠麻香惹味...食食下煲入面有條頭髮,最後叫經理黎退左佢換左另一個鍋

總括黎講,今次真係失望而回,可能我唔識得點菜,不過我應該唔會再黎。

整個早上都在金鐘辦証,離開時已差不多是午飯時間,到時代廣場,想起已經很久沒有到過金滿庭。這兒設有先進的叫號系統,客人可以取票後以QR Code查詢最新的叫號情況,不過當日拿的已經是第一張001票,系統自然也用不着。今日除了如常點了砂窩雲吞雞和小籠包,還嚐了紫心蕃薯浸莧菜,不過在沒通知的情況下,莧菜卻變成了豆苗。紫薯的味道跟青菜很搭,是清新而且健康的一道。將百福豆腐片成相同厚度的四層,中間分別夾了肉鬆、菜甫和薑蔥,香口惹味,豐富了豆腐原有的單調。做法看起來簡單,對沒有烹飪天份的我來說,這道豆腐三文治成了很好的參考,而且如果成功在家DIY就不用花$64買這道菜了。
