New York Fries (Closed)

和sheep本來想打算去吃沙律的, 可惜sheep要加班, 結果只能在附近吃...想起NYF...所以就趁個機會試試...大約九點半, 有不少人在等買...想試兩種口味..所以選了兩個SMALL...一個Poutine和veggie work....因為裡面沒有位置的關係, 所以坐在外面...有點冷...Poutine - 店員加了一個雪糕球分量的芝士粒和gravy...第一次吃...薯條加上牛肉汁...可能薯條不算太熱...所以芝士粒不是太溶...吃的感覺像是薯蓉...因為薯條被肉汁浸淋了...這個配搭幾特別...跟吃熱辣辣的薯條點茄汁又是另一種風味...veggie work - 另外我還多加了不少蕃茄...哈哈...感覺上不會太熱氣...酸忌廉跟薯條很夾...我比較喜歡這個口味...不過吃到差不到一半的時候, 才看到底部有cheese sauce...變成吃頭半部是酸忌廉口味...尾一半是芝士醬口味....美國製造的果然是會讓人致肥的食物...間中吃就好了...

I knew this shop for over 10 years, when I visit Canada that my brother brought me in for their wonderful fries, at that time they only have the beef gravy, which I still remember how tasty that was...After more than 10 years it finally arrived HK, couldn't wait and I gave it a try last week.I ordered "The works" with pretty much everything and as I expected, the sauce made the fries not crispy anymore, also other than the stuff on the fries, I can get extra ingredients from the stool, chive, on

自問最恨薯條, 無他, 香脆的薯條跟很heavy 的toppings及醬汁, 試問怎能抗拒? 可是一想到制作本身是吸收果鑊油的日月精華變身而成, 個人認為比一切高脂高膽食物更可怕!可是, 你叫我唔食? 講笑咩~ 最新最期待的, 便是NYF。晚上九時多也是其門如市, 兼有好多人在門口拎住一大盤薯條影呀影, 確實有其魔力。 我跟朋友選了一個regular的poutine。 嘩, 個兜大過我個頭喎! 可能turnover太高的關係, 見waitress毫不吝嗇地把未瓊乾油, 軟啤啤的薯條放入"我個頭"度, 再用雪糕殼加很多很多的cheese, 仲有熔岩般的gravy, 是油上加油。 薯條是吃得出比其他地方高幾班, 可是油淋淋的薯條確實不是我杯茶啊!當然, gravy加芝士加薯仔, 無不好吃之道理, 可是我不太接受因為太多人光顧而濫竽充數的成品, 畢竟都成$50/set架。 下次會在熱潮過後才試其真章。p.s. 對自助醬汁及其食正西北風的outdoor seat 很有好感。

個人覺得除左個汁好味外薯條同係出面食既差唔多不過poutine既汁真係同d薯條配合唯一既問題係排隊既人龍真係太長了我等左20分鐘呀..

我office係海港城﹐食過幾次喇﹐即刻食係好好食wor﹐我見D人話淋﹐係唔係因為外賣呀﹖我試過一次外賣就真係查D﹐但老實講﹐乜野炸野隔左一陣都淋架啦。個人首選係Poutine﹐正! 味道同我加拿大食開一樣。

薯條熱正面吹襲，不單愛爾蘭瘋薯大排長龍，連這間加拿大薯條連銷店也一樣。標榜手切即炸的 NYF，共有數款醬汁提供，但因為全部都有芝士，最後要了一個沒有醬的 large size combo。份量相當大，薯條是幼身的一種，只是我覺得炸得勁燶，好似冇換油咁，卻又非外脆內軟，而是整條都係腍；不過薯味幾濃。

唔好食薯條係林的重要好多人

I went there during sunday afternoon 2 weeks ago, after about 20min of queuing & waiting. I got my cup chips. but disappointed because the chips were not crispy and indeed very oily and soften. were the staff missing some procedures in producing the chips?! they mentioned they would normally deep fried the chips 3 times in order to make them crispy. I wonder they would keep such guideline during the busy hours.

We are very disappointed after we tried the poutine today. Basically, in a good poutine, the cheese should melt together with the gravy, not hard and chunky like this. The taste of the gravy is ok but it's not hot enough to melt the cheese. The fries is simply very soft and not crispy at all and it's a bit too burned!! 在海港城行街中途有點肚餓,就在去大家樂途中給我遇上這間New York Fries.排了廿多分鐘終於到我,在選擇不多的情況下求其點了個The Works; 只要個regular size $30,變combo加$7,其實只是多杯汽水罷了...薯條一定是即叫即製,因為人太多根本做唔切. The Works的醬汁包括酸忌廉,芝士醬,蔥和煙肉.首先講明,我是叫外賣的,不過也只是拿著約十分鐘走到Lcx那邊才享用. 開始食的時候發覺薯條幾香而且都幾"有肉",但已經"腍"晒... 其中一個原因估計是醬汁令薯條加快變"腍". 醬汁味道鹹了一點,但最大問題還是加埋"腍薯條"後就變成"一pat野"... 最後只嚐到粒粒蔥和粒粒煙肉的味道...本來又以為是外賣的問題,但回家看網上食評才知原來薯條本身就是腍的.無論如何,我都覺得這兜薯條不值三十蚊.三十蚊,已經可以去麥記食個餐了...

A shop that only sells fries and hot dog, with basically 2 different sauces (The works and poutine) can't even make fries correctly. As others have mentioned, the fries are not crispy at all. in fact, the workers basically tried the fries in front of my eyes and whispering to each other "Any problem?" JUST found out that we actually have it in HK "finally"hope it taste the same as i used to have it in Toronto.......the gravy and fries are real gooooood....HK plp must try it .ITS A MUSTTTTTcan't wait to have it again baby.?>?

卒之去了聞名已久的NY Fries跟友人兩個分別點了Poutine及The Works由於我們二人都鍾情於Gravy，故認為Poutine會比較佳但整體來說郤不是很好薯條雖然炸得頗香，可惜郤很軟身原因可能因為食客多的關係我看見他們薯條炸起後把盛載薯條的格搖了大概十多秒後便上盤薯條未能完全乾身，還很油及軟身這是比較不足的地方若還未試的話可以不需這麼急去試我想少人時可能會好些吧

一句講晒"NO GOOD"~Poutine~好咸~平時我都食開濃味，仲好鍾意食芝士~但係呢個就真係唔係咁好食~一叉落去，D薯條淋到好似薯蓉咁，真係唔好食~The Works~呢個好少少~至少唔係咁咸~但係都因為好淋既關係~完成唔似食緊薯條~COKE~大半杯都係冰~相比之下，瘋薯好食好多~其實佢D薯條係即炸架MA，都唔明點解會咁淋??~
