今天與同事去荃灣海濱花園尋覓好吃的午餐。留意到這間店午市只開星期五,我們特意來品嘗一下。店舖標榜正宗馬來西亞檳城祖傳娘惹菜,令人充滿期待。肉骨茶配米粉 (可以選配飯)肉骨茶十分香濃,吃起來帶點點藥材味,很正宗的感覺。味道香濃好味,飲得多又未會口渴,相信是真材實料,不會有飲到味精那種口乾。而且排骨也很好吃,肉質林林的,也很入味,十分推介。鮮蝦喇沙有兩隻蝦,是已剝殻的,有加到分,加上很鮮味。麵底方面有油麵+米粉一起,令口感更豐富,而且麵很吸湯底,好吃。湯底微辣,很惹味,很濃郁。原味鴨蛋咖央多士多士很有趣,味道口感都有像蓮蓉般,甜甜的,外皮香脆,是很不錯的小食,但吃不出有鴨蛋在內。

多士很有趣,味道口感都有像蓮蓉般,甜甜的,外皮香脆,是很不錯的小食,但吃不出有鴨蛋在內。

The Laksa soup tasted absolutely amazing. Not being overly sweet or spicy or sour, it stroke the very right balance of taste and even out-tasted many laksa in Hong Kong or even those I tried in Singapore. There was also a mix of noodles, very thin ones and normal noodles. The thin noodles had absorbed the essence of the laksa soup and was really nice. You simply cannot miss it.

For the banlan sandwich, the banlan sauce was homemade and special. The sandwich was hot and scrispy. Suggest to share out the snack and have a bite for everyone.

近掛試過一些新開馬拉店. 今日順帶試埋拒, 畢竟不是旺區.  但第一口 飲下喇沙麵湯底.  不然令我帶有意外驚喜. 因湯底夠味夠濃, 可能有加海鮮殼去煲. 帶有甜味,不會口喝.   加央鮮打, 有蛋味. 不是一般超市買的現成貨.    肉骨茶底無偷雞, 不是混成品貨加 味精. 是煲出來的口感, 也是沒有味精.  但肉骨就無脂肪帶不出骨底香氣. 可能呢排豬貴掛.  走時, 肉骨茶味仍在口腔. 令我意想不到.  近排也算是第一次食到 近乎 馬拉 或 星加坡 當地 既口味.  算是一間將品質放在食材身上既小店.

臨走前同收銀位,應該是老闆娘傾咗兩句。
原來餐廳係兩公婆開,廚房老公係馬來西亞娘惹人,老婆係香港人。所以食物真係做到真正娘惹風味!

唔洗出上環, 可以喺荃灣食倒咁正宗咁好味檳城嘅娘惹菜, 仲要一尐都唔貴。啱曬尐喇沙控。老闆就係上過 ViuTV 節目 "唔係本地菜" 嘅 馬來西亞娘惹人 Derek, 曾經係當地酒店嘅行政總廚, 因為 Working Holiday 識左宜家嘅香港人太太, 隻身來港創業。因為喺電視見到佢對於煮食嘅熱誠, 決心要尋找此店一試, 估唔到喺荃灣一個小屋苑可以品嚐倒咁正宗咁足料咁好味嘅喇沙, 唔洗再山長水遠去上環先食倒, 真係好開心。今次 lunch 先試一試喇沙, 下次再試埋個蝦醬炒蟹。

本來開喺西環嘅娘惹嫁到結業,實在係西柚們嘅損失。大半年後,終於都喺荃灣開返。雖然地點對我地港島人來講比較遠,但距離係無阻我哋對正宗馬來西亞娘惹料理嘅思念。新店比舊時大好多,客人都坐得舒服好多。至愛招牌美食,肉骨茶,牛尾喇沙,同舊時一樣咁好食。尤其牛尾,肥瘦適中。深海魚蛋又係必食啦,唔使多講,好彈牙!咖吔多士,宜家仲有多種口味!以為原本班蘭味已經係最好食,原來新嘅藍花鵝蛋味,將咖吔多士嘅香又提升到另一層次!更香濃!大廚好鍾意創新,特飲又多左幾款,香茅柿子特飲真好味。

I’m a fan of their food ever since we found them in Pok Fu Lam (near HKU area) and has followed them here for my comfort food. Although they used to have a small stall, local neighborhood business but it’s a rare hidden gem in the city. I’ve recommended HK friends and relatives to come try it and they have all given the same thumbs
up.

My favourite is their Laksa.
And must try their fish balls (it’s the Singapore/Malaysian type, not HK floury type). Normally, we come back each time for Prawn Laksa, Pork Ribs Laksa, Fishballs, Kaya Toast and not forgetting their homemade drinks. The drinks were initially made for benefit of HKU students so that they get herbal drinks instead of soft drinks.

The chef and his wife has clearly put their hearts into their food menu and we could almost taste it when you see it.

We have been coming back for more and will always visit again.
It’s really these kind of passionate chefs that we must support in the our city.

Highly recommended.

食物質素不錯,但出來的賣相普通。要了一個豬手飯,飯在下,菜及豬手放飯上,另外,醬油放到全碗飯都是。吃剩的豬骨沒骨碟,放到一枱骨,賣相欠佳。另叫了一個肉骨茶飯,味道很好,又是賣相安排不好,骨頭又是放在桌上,令人感到不快!最後要了一個㗎央糯米飯,有特色,手打的,馬拉風味,不加榴蓮,加了點椰奶,清新可人。優質食物小店,能改善出菜及收碟安排,必解決顧客不快的感受。總結:食物質素好,能夠多個骨碟,多點體貼安排就更好!
