To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. Looked around and noted that all other 2-ppl diners were seated at bigger tables. Restaurant was far from full, so requested to change. Manager said he would look into it, then disappeared. After a significant delay, we were finally moved to a sofa seat.Comprehensive wine list. Ordered a bottle of bubbles. Server came with the bread and gave us 2 rolls

The mixed berry sponge cake layer had a good tartness to it to balance out the sweetness from the meringue and vanilla ice cream. The splash of flambéed dark rum really sealed the deal here. It was super aromatic, rich and complemented all the flavours perfectly.

— Great appetiser to start off with! The octopus was nice and tender with a slight saltiness to it. I loved the guacamole which had the perfect amount of acidity to it that really opened up your appetite.

— Was pretty disappointed by this dish especially at the price point. The pork chop was under seasoned and quite dry and tough as well. (Our waiter recommended this to us and said the meat was going to be very tender and juicy, but definitely not the case 😅) The forest mushroom sauce was alright but there wasn’t enough of it.

— The handmade pasta was super chewy and cooked to a perfect al-dente texture. I loved that the sauce was really rich and full of flavour without being overly salty or overpowering. The italian sausage gave the dish a nice smoky and slight spicy flavour. The artichokes give the dish a slight crunch and a deep earthy flavour.

這次是一行三位女生的girls night約會。正在選擇餐廳的時候,朋友力推這間Oro,說想要去試菜,順道看看包廂是否適合辦生日會。於是我們就book 了一個平日晚上拜訪這餐廳。乘電梯到30樓,在門外等候入座的感覺,就像準備打開盲盒一樣興奮🥰 進去第一層是Oro Manhattan Italian ,270度海景廂房,華麗西式裝潢。經過窄長水晶梯上一層則是Top town 半露天酒吧。我們萬萬猜不到,原來再上天台還有一個隱密度高的露天區域可以談天喝酒。因為當日天氣比較涼,我們大部分時間就留在Oro。我們三人叫了一個Burrata,一個short rib,一個蟹肉pasta,另外請當天的大廚發板幫我們做一道主菜和前菜。整體餐飲無論色香味也無可挑剔。我們雖然很飽,但還是叫了甜品platter,享受完美的句點。經理和廚師都很健談,除了講解食物之外,還樂意與食客拍照和閒話家常。經理帶我們參加全3 層餐廳的不同角落。他們的友善態度令這餐飯體驗更上一層樓。唯一留意的就是包房的min charge真的比較高,1K per head x 10 人以上,這個價錢其實也有不少其他很好的選擇。

一年又過去了,跟朋友來倒數,氣氛和環境麵不錯的,服務也OK,但食物質素對不起價錢~🥲頭盤魚子生蠔🦪,不錯👌🏻鵝肝好乾好細舊….🥲生牛肉他他,不過不失很普通的蟹肉意粉🍝⋯⋯正常吧,你叫我讚它很好吃實在說不出甜品盤反而有點誠意,店員說新年開合桃吃是意大利傳統?我們去了頂樓飲嘢倒數,氣氛不錯,可以看到煙花🎆總結~好看的都不一定有內涵😂餐廳未必會再光顧但bar確實是幾好feel的👍🏻可以去chill下🙌🏻
