Before watching a movie, my boyfriend took me to this restaurant for dinner because he knows I like to eat Hainanese chicken. The Hainanese chicken set was presented nicely, they provided all three sauce which were ginger with spring onion, spicy and sweet soya sauce. The chicken were so smooth and meaty. My boyfriend got the Bak Kut Tea with rice. This one was not so good, it was tasteless! There were lots of Chinese herbal ingredients but hardly any pork rib. There were a few bean curd puff flowing on top and that was it.

淘大商場內都算是有很多的餐廳作為晚餐選擇,價錢大多是中等至偏高,是晚就來到栢檔極品海南雞飯,看到門口外有不少人等候,而朋友亦聽聞這間餐廳不錯,所以決定一試。晚餐時分,店內坐無虛席,而門口有不少人等候外賣,因此等候入座的時間相對偏長,店員每每叫號都是門外的外賣等待者,經過接近二十分鐘左右終於可以入座。早在輪侯時已把餐牌看得很仔細,入座後馬上叫了海南雞飯一人套餐($55),套餐內除了有海南雞+飯,另外還有生菜一碟及飲品。飲品先到,接著送到海南雞飯套餐,有菜有飯有飲品,很滿足!先吃一口飯,看到照片上的飯有些是黃有些是白,明顯是拌得不夠均勻,而且吃下去時雞油香都不算是突出,就當是一碗普通飯。夾一件雞,基本上每件雞都已去骨,只剩下雞肉,吃時很方便。雞肉明顯有用過冷河令肉質保持嫩滑,不會有肉質粗糙難咬開的情況。雞油部分不算多,份量亦都適中。三種醬料(甜醬油、薑蔥油、酸辣醬)沾上後各有風味,甜醬油更可用來拌飯。生菜旁有蠔油調味,不過不失。整體味道良好,是作為午飯晚飯一個不錯的選擇。

先吃一口飯,看到照片上的飯有些是黃有些是白,明顯是拌得不夠均勻,而且吃下去時雞油香都不算是突出,就當是一碗普通飯。

Boyfriend and I ordered two set meals for one. I had Hainan chicken and he had Yu Shiang minced pork cake. We both chose drinks instead of soup as it was hot outside and I don't like drinking MSG laced soup.

The sets for one looked like this. The rice can be changed to regular rice instead of the chicken oil rice but why have Hainan chicken without the chicken oil rice? The rice was nice and fragrant with bits of chopped dried garlic and onions. The vegatables were ok.

Hainan chicken were boneless. Meat was moist and juicy. However, I didn't eat the skin as the feathers weren't plucked properly and was layered all over the skin!

Yu Shiang minced pork cake was not really good. I think boyfriend liked it more than me as I didn't like it at all. It was oily and hard. It didn't really taste like pork but more like a fish cake. I only ate a little bit.

I liked the Hainan chicken and would probably stick to that. Apparently, the best seller is the bak kut tea has it was sold out when we got there. Would like to note the service was pretty nice. Especially the manager who treated all the customers as if they were his friend coming over for dinner. He was witty and funny, throwing out the odd English here and there.

因為我住在不遠的地方, 男朋友喜歡吃海南雞飯, 所以來了.套餐$39, 有湯有飯, 不包飲料.油飯還是不夠香, 不過也OK, 比美心的好.雞是滑的, 雞味很重, 不會有雪味. 醬料反而是一般, 不甜不咸不辣, 是那招?地方窄, 算是像快餐廳那種, 吃完就會要走的了~想吃飽的, 好像又不夠, 再叫多一點又好像太貴....怎麼辦?!!!!!

好像許多年前已聽聞,這是一家在九龍城的著名餐廳,今天在九龍灣分店首嚐,想不到,不外如是。後來查看,發現九龍城那家的名字為柏檔去骨海南雞,而這兒只是極品海南雞。但根據蘋果日報2014年3月13日的報道,其指九龍城店去年結業,選址九龍灣重新開業。就像一般茶餐廳般,進店、看餐牌、下單、店員端餐來、結帳,但座位比起茶餐 廳「卡位」更差。我最討厭這種背靠很低 的椅子,讓人坐得很不舒服,就像面試- 要靠前仰,腰部很容易累。其實,"扮高檔" 倒不如現實點、腳踏實地,用回最原始的方桌圓椅罷了,我認為吉野家、KFC的椅子比這兒的更為舒適。海南雞飯,加$10可轉雞脾,加$5跟湯或飲料。最討厭這種加錢有雞脾的生意手法,就像加了十元就一定有雞脾,但其實不加十元也不定分不到雞脾。但現場所見,真的有富貴人家願意加十元,確保獲得雞脾,可悲。結果還是吃了普通的海南雞飯,等了五分鐘左右便來了。在"沒加十元買個安穩"下,相信我「獲分」雞背及雞槌已是僥倖。吃了兩件,才突然想起,海南雞不是應該去骨的嗎?如果帶骨的,跟街市或燒味檔 外賣飯盒有何分別呢?肉質算滑,但沒有甚麼雞不雞味、鮮不鮮美,雞皮薄薄一片,不會肥,肉質真的沒雞味

其實,"扮高檔" 倒不如現實點、腳踏實地,用回最原始的方桌圓椅罷了,我認為吉野家、KFC的椅子比這兒的更為舒適。

海南雞飯,加$10可轉雞脾,加$5跟湯或飲料。最討厭這種加錢有雞脾的生意手法,就像加了十元就一定有雞脾,但其實不加十元也不定分不到雞脾。但現場所見,真的有富貴人家願意加十元,確保獲得雞脾,可悲。

結果還是吃了普通的海南雞飯,等了五分鐘左右便來了。在"沒加十元買個安穩"下,相信我「獲分」雞背及雞槌已是僥倖。吃了兩件,才突然想起,海南雞不是應該去骨的嗎?如果帶骨的,跟街市或燒味檔 外賣飯盒有何分別呢?

肉質算滑,但沒有甚麼雞不雞味、鮮不鮮美,雞皮薄薄一片,不會肥,肉質真的沒雞味,就像家中媽媽煮的雪雞
;再次閉起雙眼睛,試想,其實這雞肉,用"素雞"代替也可以啊 (因上次在大自然素食吃到的三色骨,那扮肉的質感都疑幻疑真)。

算吧,$4x有十件雞左右,不可過於挑剔。三色醬亦欠缺特別,豉油就只是稍為帶甜的豉油,既不稠又不香。薑荵磨得較幼細,不錯。辣醬都不感到辣,味道淡然,只略帶酸辣。

油飯,經過上次在茶室(亦在九龍灣)吃 過那油飯後,這個油飯就「柏檔都追不上」,看似有點顆粒、有點油份在飯上, 卻不吃出特別香氣,只是較白飯濕、帶點 兒汁。

柚子蜜,以那種最討厭的透明膠杯盛著, 但透明膠杯經過多番使用已帶有花紋及擦 漬,
欠缺整潔。其實只費幾元到宜家購置 小小的帶耳小杯,已可令賣相大大改善。


四十多元,只是這般一個雞飯,十分普通,到美心,大家樂可能選擇更多。再到九龍灣晚餐,會吃冬蔭公公,也不會再吃這家有骨海南雞吧,坐不舒適,吃不美味,價不合理。

原先想去食錦,但休息一天.冇辦法啦!終於去左試這店.見到門口人山人海,心想可以一試掛.叫左:栢檔極品海南雞飯套餐,秘方滷燒豬頸肉飯套餐栢檔極品海南雞飯套餐:海南雞都算滑,但味道好淡,冇咩雞味,一定要點醬先好食,黃薑飯味道唔錯,幾香口又唔油膩,但賣相一般.秘方滷燒豬頸肉飯套餐:都唔知有咩秘方滷,燒豬頸肉燒得好唔乾身,但完全冇味.栢檔皇牌住家靚湯:似例湯,味道普通,連老黃瓜D子都放落去煲.可食而冇祈望,D名好睇唔好食.
