今日約咗舊同事食飯。自從離職後,幾個月冇嚟過中環區了。約咗同事喺石板街等,佢帶我去紅館,係新開嘅,之前無嚟過。餐廳入面大部分都係吧檯位,原來下面仲有一層,不過今日已經全部爆滿,所以我哋就坐上層嘅吧檯。午餐都有幾多選擇,今日就試個牛肉三文治啦。午餐包沙律或餐湯,天氣太熱喇,唔想飲啲熱辣辣嘅湯,就揀咗沙律。雖然話係午餐,但沙律嘅份量都唔少,沙律菜好新鮮,上面仲有一啲白色嘅醬,食落口味道有啲似薯蓉,加咗檸檬汁,酸酸地,但係都幾好味。牛肉三文治唔算好大分,伴碟有我最心愛嘅粗身薯條,薯條係要切得粗啲去炸先至夠味道。三文治原來係用法包,入面夾咗啲青瓜同牛肉,青瓜味道酸酸地好醒胃,牛肉係切成幼條狀,方便食用,唔會食得好論盡,真係要讚一讚。粗身薯條可能用牛油煎過,非常非常好味,食完一條又一條,食個唔停口。最後當然叫咗杯凍檸檬茶。雖然話飲得多凍野無益,但夏天唔飲凍嘢,真係受唔住㗎。可惜而家唔再係中環區返工,如果唔係一定會再嚟紅館食過。

今日到中上環見客,傾完大約十二點,已是午飯時候,走著走著,走過鏞記酒家,唔,一個人去吃燒鵝太誇張了吧。再走著走著,見到一間小館子名紅館,有提供精選午餐,就試試這間吧!店舖面積不大,只有吧枱十來個位。原來下面還有一層,面積較寬敞。算吧反正一個人,就坐在地面那層的吧枱。午餐頭盤有沙律或是日例湯。主菜六款選擇,其中一款是fish of the day,今日的是日鮮魚是sea bass鱸魚,就叫這一款。頭盤我選了湯,是什菜清雞湯。很喜歡這個湯,坊間提供的通常都是忌廉湯,濃味容易煮嘛。但這個清雞湯,看似簡單,湯色清瀲卻有濃濃的鮮雞味,再加上點點什菜,應該是淆了很多個小時吧。主菜鱸魚也到了。通常午餐都是把魚柳煎一煎,就平平的上枱。但這裏的午餐擺盤也很花心思。魚柳卷著番茄和露筍,拌上醬汁,再墊以青瓜和粟米仔,充滿著視覺藝術。我喜愛食魚柳,因為可以食到魚的鮮味,但又不怕哽到骨。醬汁帶有辛香味,把魚腥味全蓋過,只餘鮮味,值得一讚。最後來杯凍檸茶,冰涼冰涼一喝下去,暑氣全消。下次再到這邊公幹的話,也可以再過來試試。

主菜單點了蟹肉闊條麵,唔食由自可,一食簡直上癮,麵條是餐廳廚師每天早上自家搓製,闊條麵既質感是向來我覺得最好吃的,不太硬不太林,總之就是剛剛好,吃得出用心製作的誠意!蟹肉鮮美,絲絲的蟹肉及意粉醬汁配合得天依無逢,還吃得出少少晶瑩的洋蔥絲,呢個蟹肉闊條麵值得encore encore 再encore!

上菜令人有嘩一聲的感覺, 從沒想過, 吃煎魚它能夠捲起來, 很有生命力。
打開一看, 有兩大件魚, 還有粟米芯和露筍, 伴菜都很爽脆, 新鮮, 尤如清泉一樣, 化解食肉的膩。
調味都頗特別, 有像肉燥的肉碎粒, 及蕃茄仔, 橄欖等, 這就是意式風情吧。
而主角魚肉, 比我想像中沒那麼滑溜, 頗有質感的, 我們都覺得它有點像雞胸, 但有魚香味, 很有趣。

下班後與友人聚餐,特別挑了位於中環擺花街的紅館餐廳吃晚餐。餐廳分為兩層,樓上有吧檯座位不多,地下樓則為一般餐廳空間,是一家以紅色、黑色做主調的餐廳。地下樓寧靜座位舒適,有播放音樂,令人輕鬆優閒自在!首先上菜的是法包,外脆內軟,越吃越香,沾點油醋,風味更佳。再來是湯,清淡的湯頭,滋味偏淡卻很爽口。主菜Fish of the day,今日主廚採用新鮮鱸魚當主角,擺盤賣相漂亮。新鮮魚肉沾著醬汁,讓鮮甜肉質更讓味蕾充分感受,清脆鮮蔬亦是扮演完美配角,口味濃淡適中。Market crab fettuccine,這裡主打手工意大利麵,是餐廳自製的。意大利寬麵,十分有Q勁,細嚼後有股淡淡麥香味。裹上金黃色的蟹肉醬汁,鮮味十足口感滑順濃郁。最後來杯凍檸茶,清涼舒暢,酸甜爽口。

紅館是間西式小店Bistro,店舖裝修得有種英式酒館風格。牆上掛著藍帶證書,店舖廚子來頭不少呀。男友叫了個牛肉三文治套餐,而我則散叫了個蟹肉意粉。

牛肉潛艇三文治是用了燒牛肉厚切,再切成條狀,配上青瓜,汁醬帶酸,在這炎炎夏日,吃得完全不覺滯膩。我很喜愛這裡的潛艇包,也是廚師自家製的呀,香,脆,有質感,咬下去很干脆,不會靱,不需要用牙大力嘶開,很高品質的麵包。
