本身中意食乳豬和燒腩仔,但是在市面上很難搵到一間好食的。今次去左阿爺燒鵝有驚喜乳豬皮脆肉嫩,多肉少脂肪燒腩仔皮脆肉嫩脂肪及肉分佈均勻白飯嘅軟硬度亦都適中,而且豉油不會太咸送飯一流,下次會再去食絕對係乳豬的首選。

I had char siu with rice vermicelli ($37). These were really good char siu. Not as fat as other places as they gave me the less fatty part but still juicy and full of flavor. The vermicelli was not over cooked but nothing really to write home about. The soup was not that good but then who drinks the soup anyways? It even came with a few pieces of cho sum.

Boyfriend had the roast goose with dry noodles in goose fat ($42). The goose was really seasoned on the bone area but oddly didn't seep into the meat. The meat was a bit dry in some parts well. However, the dry noodles were really good. Not too oily, yet not so dry it was all stuck together. It was well flavoured. It also came with a bowl of soup that had a light bone broth flavor.

Portion for tea time was very generous. We didn't expect this much so quite a good deal. The char siu was good though the goose was a bit average. The meat oddly didn't  get any of the marinade that was all in the bone area. And the bone area was delicious.

今天特別想吃港式常餐,在大圍的茶餐廳不少,但要好食和收費不貴的地方確實不多。連鎖式食店雖然平,又沒有常餐類食物供應,就想到阿爺燒鵝餐室,吃過一次也不差,價錢收費又不算貴,就決定再前來。******************************久沒前來,剛好下午茶時段,下午茶常餐HKD40,就只有叉燒和沙嗲牛肉2選其一,配麵食、4.3牛乳滑蛋、厚多士和飲品一杯,凍飲還是加HKD3。下午茶時間還有座坐,安座點好了餐,很快便把食飯和飲品送上,只是賣相一看,食物份量少了,除了湯麵,滑蛋和多士都是微暖的。先吃沙嗲牛肉麵,沙嗲牛肉湯底有點像雲吞麵湯底味道,雖然沙嗲味道不套像,但牛肉份量也正常,吃上口都入味夠淋,只是麵底少了點。4.3牛乳滑蛋味道還能保持水準,只是份量又少了點,厚多士牛油份量足夠,都一樣好味。凍檸茶要求少冰,能做到少冰的要求,但味道就變成少甜。此外,吃完食物,還有飲品沒喝,服務員收拾東西雖然很快,但有點像要你立刻離開的一樣,自從有消費卷,感覺往那裏吃東西,如果價錢不變,就是食飯份量減少了,變相也算是加價了。

我買咗一斤脆皮腩仔加半隻貴妃雞。脆皮腩仔好正,個皮好脆,油層好厚,肉質好嫩好juicy,岩哂鐘意食肥啲嘅我。貴妃雞食落雞皮好爽口,肉質嫩滑,推介俾大圍嘅街坊!
