睇到網上食評頗好,慕名光顧嘅一次Omakase體驗。早兩星期打去已經好容易book到位,而用餐前一晚亦都唔使confirm Booking。當日我哋揀咗$880 個set, 前菜沙律比較一般,之後有日本蠔、貝類、白子、秋刀魚呢類當季嘅食材都有供應,可惜全部都是迷你版,而且沒有一道講得出特別驚喜。有一件係刺身包住手指尾頭咁大嘅胺康魚肝係入面…well, 其實佢唔講我都唔知。最後一道是一杯超迷你冷烏冬配炸野菜。整個體驗感覺不到誠意啊!廚師都專登問大家夠唔夠飽?OMG咁個個都話唔夠啦!最後補份迷你魚生配三文魚子。總體來說,成個set俾唔到你滿足感。廚師(香港人)和客人交流唔算太多,不過都唔係全部佢哋嘅責任。食呢類料理其實最好係同師傅有一定交流,但旁邊一班律師樓人員係度吹噓自己豐功偉績,大聲講大聲笑之餘,不但影響到其他客人,亦好似唔太尊重餐廳廚師。。。Anyway 呢個價位來講水準唔係話差,但食完無乜驚喜感覺。

There were sudden intervals of modernity cutting throught the meal, like a piece of dehydrated caviar crisp on the toro and the pasta dish near the end (mind you it was a good mentiako pasta), which were quite surprising for an omakase, but given the value and the last minute booking, I'd say it was alright. Went for the 18 course dinner omakase ($998) and we sure got a variety of items. There were sudden intervals of modernity cutting throught the meal, like a piece of dehydrated caviar crisp on the toro and the pasta dish near the end (mind you it was a good mentiako pasta), which were quite surprising for an omakase, but given the value and the last minute booking, I'd say it was alright. I would like the rice to be more consistent in terms of temperature and less sticky, and really it would be great if chef introduces all the dishes, a shame that he didn't introduce a few of the sushi pieces.

OVERALL: this modern and chic looking omakase restaurant in Soho is a good choice for a chill lunch date! 🍣 book online in advance since they have been popular since their opening in Oct 2021! Pan would liked it better if the chefs interacted with guests and no waiting time outside the restaurant even with booking 😬

🍣Omakase Sushi lunch set - comes with 11 kinds of sushi & handroll, with salad, steamed egg, soup & dessert. We notice how most pieces of sushi were paired with a paste or topping which brings out/compliment the fresh sashimi flavour. Our favourites are listed below 💯😇 overall a pretty good value! 

🦐Sweet shrimp sushi - loved how it is paired with boiled shrimp paste, the shrimp was super fresh & had a lush succulent texture. YUM!

🐟 Otoro sushi - topped with caviar and sea salt flakes, the whole piece just melts in your mouth🤤 overall flavours has been elevated with the additional toppings. 

✨Hokkaido sea urchin sushi - how cute do Bon & Pan look next to the mini cup ☺️ uni is sweet & creamy. Nice

💚Matcha pudding - not so sweet and very “matcha” & creamy 😋 a nice way to finish.

其實全部都好好食!最出色當然係中拖羅😍😍 啲油脂多到🤤 近乎入口即溶之中又有少少咬口,正爆!鰤魚第一次食,真係超正!好彈好鮮好滑🤤 甜蝦上面放咗少少燒香既蝦膏,勁提味又唔會太over! 覺得佢地啲壽司既配搭都好獨特又好好味!真係會想再食!
