The Southern deep fried turkey was not impressive at all, all of us had the same question: was it fried turkey or fried chicken?? Would stongly suggest they just cut this option. There was no meat and mostly the deep-fried coating they served.

The Nachos
It has crispy pig ears with chili, cheddar, sour cream and jalapenos. The pig ears with crunchy texture and it is tasty than the usual meat with nachos.

Wood Grilled Pizza – Margharita
One of the best tonight is the wood grilled pizza which has mozzarella, tomato and basil. The pizza base was crisp and bready and it is the highlight of the night.

We ordered white wine and rose as well and we will definitely come back for $99 free flow happy hour for house red/ white wine and house spirits during weekday from 5-7 pm.

339$ for all you can eat main dish (choice of 4 or 5 like cheese burgers and hot dog?! How many cheese burger one can eat?). The taco buffet was nice and probably the highlight of the brunch. Nice crispy tortilla with hot chili con carne and hot cheese sauce and jalapeno. But seriously at 339$?!?

We had some sparkling water that the waitress was very adament for us to refill and ended up paying >500$ per head. Margarhita and can beer for drink packages at 99$ were a very limited selection of drinks...

Won't repeat this one at this price.

Famous mainly for its insane happy hour (which I think has been done away with – they still do some all-you-can-drink deal before 7), Stone Nullah Tavern (SNT) is a quiet neighbourhood bar in Wanchai, around the corner from Hopewell Center. 

As far as drinks go, it has all the standard cocktail fare, including three good beers on tap (last night was Young Master, Pilsner Urquell and I think Rogue Dead Guy), and more than the average number of wines for a bar. There’s quite a few choices of whiskey too, but it’s not really my thing so not sure if they’re good.

While it's a fine bar, I'm here to promote the food: It’s my 6th time there and I’ve never considered writing a review for it (it’s a bar!), but the food served there is actually outstanding and deserves some press.

A more American take on the gastropub, SNT dishes out some seriously excellent comfort food that elevates the classics while maintaining their accessibility.

Last night we had:

 BBQ Chicken Pizza – It wasn’t my choice to try this (BBQ sauce on pizza??) but it was surprisingly fantastic. It’s more of a flatbread pizza so the “crust” is bit thicker than a usual pizza, but was still crispy and chewy enough to form a base for generous amounts of cheese, chicken and onions. It’s a bit of a mess for pizza purists but I can’t deny that it was tasty. There’s a Margherita pizza too which looks great.

½ Butter Roasted Chicken – Juicy and expertly roasted, with the skin a delicious and crunchy golden-brown – they also do a Korean BBQ style which I’m curious to try

Pork Cheek Chili Breadbowl – I’ve been coming here for this chili breadbowl for quite some time; covered with melted cheese and sour cream and served in a fresh breadbowl. The bread really works as an accompaniment, and it’s one of the best chilis in town, though it could be a smidge spicier. 

Smoked Cauliflower with some kind of Curry sauce – Thought the sauce made the dish a bit wetter than it needed to be but as a side vegetable it was still delicious.

Although it’s not the cheapest place, the variety, quality and style of food is unique enough to justify its premium. Along with the Globe and maybe Stockton, SNT is one of the few bars in HK where I can say the food alone makes it worth a visit. Check it out!

This restaurant is recommended by a colleague who has meal in this restaurant before. Recommended coz there is a side bar at the front of bar restaurant, well, that’s the problem here. The food are left open and there are flies on the food (since the doors are opened). Recommended coz there is a side bar at the front of bar restaurant, well, that’s the problem here. The food are left open and there are flies on the food (since the doors are opened). For the main course, the portion of the steak is slight and the taste are not my cup of tea. However, my friend’s fish is in the right portion and taste good.

I dun think I will go to the restaurant again, unless I heard some great comments here.

I'd eaten once at the Stone Nullah Tavern and thought that their brunch buffet could be a good thing to try out with the family. Turns out the buffet is a few nachos with a few toppings and a few bits of salad.   Comfort Food來襲,這兒的Mac n' Cheese也是名聲顯赫的出位之選,跟豬肋骨齊名。份量還算合宜,預計了這個價位是如此份量,所之不覺得過份。濃稠香潤的Mac n' Cheese之上,灑了粒粒小蔥,並有橙黃如落日的蛋黃置中。友人在一瞬間戳破蛋黃,在蛋汁還未來得及流淌的時候已將其拌進芝士醬之間。奶感芝味間突如其來的蛋香,伴以淡淡的黑松露香湧現。通粉煮得剛好,熟之餘微微煙韌嚼勁不減,吃得更是滋味。

  因為有下站目標,輕鬆點兩款菜式,其實加一後已是瞬間花了六百多元。三人分,還可以,雖然份量一定不夠滿足三個人,但是以味道而言還是可以一試。話說回來,佢收少左$10,好似係,因為我地明明嗌左黑松露芝通(餐牌寫要加錢)。而佢地亦確實有加到黑松露在內,忙中有錯,或者係我地理解錯餐牌?是但啦,其實都係而家睇番張單先發現,唔好同我收番啦,sh!

BBQ Ribs一客切開約有6條骨,用上自家醬汁醃料香燒,令每條骨充斥香濃醬汁,辟除膻味;豬肋骨不會燒得太燶卻異常焦香惹味,肉汁豐盈,滑嫩可口,食到我們連手指都啜乾淨。

Margherita Pizza乃Pizza之中最basic,但亦是最能食出pizza原始味道同最考廚師功架的一款選擇,因當中配料只有薄餅蕃茄醬、水牛芝士同羅勒,味道單純,餅底嘅厚薄、烘焙同鬆軟程度會直接影響口感。而此處的餅底做成一塊長身薄薄的餅皮那般,未去到thin crust程度,但咬落都crispy脆卜卜,配埋蕃茄醬同水牛芝士,口味討好,水準之作。

今天發現到這個好去處,相信之後將會成為我們朋友間Happy hour的一個新蒲點了。
