My wife told me that there is a new Japanese restaurant opening nearby our house, and it specialized in don rice thus we decided to try it. Sushi Don was located at Bowa house, around 2 minutes walk from Jordan MTR.]There are several choices for their don rice set, and it consisted of appetizer, salad, miso soup an desserts as well. Miso soup was tasty and clear, and there is beancurd and clams etc in it. Beancurd was soft and smooth and clams was juicy. Salad was fresh and crunchy etc.
Premium crab sashimi rice bowl - A small plate of raw egg was provided to mix with the don rice. The chef was generous with the serving of the crab sashimi. Crab paste was thick in texture and very creamy and flavourful. Crab sashimi was fresh and juicy as well, going well with the rice.
I ordered don rice bowl with sea urchin, minced prime tuna, salmon roe with onsen tamago in it. The serving was huge as well, and salmon roe was flavourful and smooth, bursting into juice easily. Sea urchin was creamy and soft and prime tuna was fatty and soft as well.
Mochi was served after the meal and was chewy and smooth. There were chocolate fillings inside as well.
