To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今次一家大班人在家中食飯,為方便起見,我們選擇了叫太興的盆菜。這次點的是鮑魚豐盛盆菜(6位用),其中包括:原隻蠔皇鮑魚(6隻)、蠔豉(6隻)、燒鵝、大蝦(8隻)、桶子油雞、紅炆花菇、蘿蔔、炸芋頭、雲耳、枝竹、紅炆火腩、魚腐、蟮肚、鯪魚丸、花膠仔、西蘭花、發菜、素翅、豬手和豬軟骨。這樣豐富的配料,讓我們6個人食得剛剛好,份量非常合適。每樣食材都非常美味,特別是鮑魚和燒鵝,鮮嫩可口;大蝦和桶子油雞亦是味道十足;其他的配料如紅炆火腩、炸芋頭、豬手等也無不讓人滿意。整體來說,這份盆菜質量上乘,每道菜都能滿足我們的味蕾。如果大家都像我們一樣,有大班人聚餐的話,不妨考慮太興的盆菜,絕對是一個既方便又美味的選擇!🦞🍗🦐🥢 continue reading

今早入咗屯門搵朋友吹水吹到點幾鐘,夠晒鐘要返過元朗搞啲啲嘢,就告別朋友向元朗出發,落到元朗兩點幾又嚟有啲肚餓,喺西菁街見到間太興,入去食個燒味下午茶,眾所周知太興燒味貴,下午茶的確比較便宜,叫咗個燒鵝紅腸飯,飯嚟到不禁暗笑,嘩~燒鵝肶喎,雖然係上半肶,都已經超開心,正價燒味飯都無啦…何況下午茶餐,燒鵝肶真係特別好食,皮脆肉嫩又有柴火香味,紅腸都鹵得好,刀功仲好切得好薄,真係運氣話嚟就嚟,最後飲埋杯即磨咖啡,太興嘅即磨咖啡都係唔錯的。 continue reading

我落單是叫餸食 1. 梅菜扣肉 2. 油雞 拼 叉燒 3. 加大油菜,奶茶1杯。梅菜扣肉 已經是最正常,口味同份量,就只是唔夠熱,無咁吸引。雙拼燒味無論份量同口味都強差人意,雞的份量 只有6、7件,而叉燒未夾起就知道唔方好食,色澤灰黑色,又柴又乾,乜太興唔係出名燒味嘅咩,點解…?還有最差一樣係:薑蓉竟然放埋雞同叉燒一齊攪到又油又咸,真是衰過街邊檔口燒味買外賣,還有份量又唔係咁多俾個紙盒咁大個,送到來東歪西倒!叉燒仲要將肥及瘦的位置斬開,做食的時候一係得瘦到柴皮,一係食肥豬肉!加大的油菜不足10條,所謂熱奶茶,是微暖。 continue reading

其實太興本身食品的品質應該唔差,不過我地今日個外賣,蝦皇醬菜心炒鮮魷 (通菜賣晒),食食下就發現有好多黑色的小點,相信應該係無洗好隻鑊所引致。就算味道唔錯,應該都唔會再幫襯。提議大家幫襯呢間時,最好都睇睇有無小黑點。 continue reading
